At this moment i have a Guild Wars 2 account and an Guild Wars 1 account. I want to link my GW1 account to my GW2 account. But it used to be that when when you creat an account you can choose to link your GW1 account and than you will have to log in with the e-mail adress of that GW1 account.
But since i’m not using that e-mail adress any more i wonder what e-mail adress i will have to use to login when i link my GW1 account to my GW2 account now.

So basicly: What e-mail address do i have to use to log in when i link my GW1 to my GW2 account?

So i got a lvl 80 sylvari thief and a lvl 80 charr, i spend some real money and allot of gold on my Sylvari.

Now i cant deside wich one i want to play. Because Charrs are realy realy awsome looking BEASTS! But they are a bit big, i’m afraid that if i go Charr that i get killed faster. I think that people would see me faster when i pop out of stealth on my charr than on my sylvari, or am i wrong about this?

So please can tell me what you think about it, would be negative to be a charr because of his size ( i am aware of the hitbox size is always the same ) It’s just that i’m afraid to be seen faster than on my Sylvari.
I ask your guys help, i love the charr and there personallity.

I wont say i’m an expert because i am not! But for a good stealth build your friend could use Shadow Arts, although this might change. If i was you i should first wait for the patch since that might change a few things, but not sure because we don’t know what will come. Maybe nerfs maybe buffs, we dont know Untill than Shadow Arts for sure!

That build exactly ( I copy pased it from some one else :P ) Any ways, could that build or something very very close to it, be viable in dungeons? If so….. how?

As some one else already said you could try the midnight ice, i would like to add midnight fire will do aswell. As you can see i have t3 aswell… only i’m male so im not sure if the midnight fire/ ice will be as dark as on my character.

As you can see that black is black, although some parts are redish ( which i like very much ) You just have to find your collors, thats all There are very bright and very dark colors for this set as you can see in my picture below.

You did not waste any gold on this set if you ask me…. it’s one of the best in game!

You could also go for a white set with blue-ish color effect, i’ve seen it before… looks realy need on a females character! Good luck finding your colors!

I use medium and my character is male so i realy wouldn’t know how any thing looks on that set but….. have you tried something like white? Since white is quit nice in overall, white with ice blue or something. You should try that out if you already didnt.

Could some one show me a picture of the cultural medium armor t3 with midnight fire/abyss? Not in preview mode because i watched it in preview mode and it looks awsome, it is so DARK! And that is cool, but i’m wondering if it’s realy that dark, so please could some one show me?

Which utilities do you run in dungeons also? Sometimes changing your utilities a bit might reduce boredom. Hence signets…

I personally run:
Smoke Screen
Shadow Refuge
Roll for initiative
Dagger Storm

Yes i do change my utilities depending on the fight. Smoke screen can be very handy indeed

More more more Since i’m running higher fractals aswell, lvl 20 + atm and aiming for more. At this moment i only use P/P and Shortbow for AOE, I’m running glass cannon because some one told me in the higher lvl fractals it’s impossible to survive while beeing melee, even warrior and guardians go range in like lvl 40 fractals. And so far it doesn’t seem you use every skill from your weapon set like another class would do it. It seems like a waste of those skills.

Yes sorry i meant dungeons indeed, lvl 80. So please teach me MASTER!

In pve i’m not using every skill from my weapon set, with dual pistol i only spam unload, a bit boring? :P With the shortbow i only use Cluster Bomb and Chocking Gass, with dagger dagger i use mainly heartseaker and somethimes Death Blossom. ( i dont count the elite skills since i use them allot ).

So my point is that it is a litle bit boring, while in any other class you use any skill you have i think? Since they work with Cool Downs.

Am i just playing the thief wrong? If so please give me some tips!

So i’m a thief and i want to go glass cannon, i was a condition thief but it seems that glass cannon is the way to go it ( in higher fractals ). But i’m not sure about my build, i think i picked the wrong traits.

I think 25/30/0/0/15 is good, just im not sure if i used the correct major traits and im not sure if i should use p/p on boss fights in pve.

I’m more pve minded but i would like an OK build for wvwvw at the same time aswell. If thats not possible, than i prefer Pve over PvP.

Any advice would be welcome, thanks!

The rest does not affect this bugg, i tryed multiple armor pieces but yet the bugg stays
Shoulders: Duelist
Chest: Duelist
Hands: Inquest Gauntlets
Leggs: Inquest Leggaurds
Boots: Inquest Greaves

The armor is duelist and the yellow head gear is from the order of whisper armor. The other white head gear is the starter hood, don’t know the name

In my first picture my left eye is bigger than his right eye. Please fix it! I also have allot of armor problems! I start to disslike my sylvari because there is not much armor to choose from because its all bugged!! Especially the head pieces border me! As you can see the armor is realy screwed atm. The shoulders are not right same as the middle and the head gear. Its realy odd.

As you can see the head piece is not atteched to my other gear as it should be. Please fix this, it’s realy annoying.

Yeh sure, thats why the armor is made for humans and scaled to sylvari ( and onther races ). Armor still looks better on humans, i think the human is there favorite.

Yeh i agree with this! More armor would be cool and i would like to have more faces aswell….. maybe some evil faces would be cool!

So i linked my account to a mobile authenticator. But when i log in the game or on the forums i only have to write my password and thats it. It doesn’t ask for any digits from the authenticator. So i just dont understand how this works? Or is it a bug or something?

You apply the same steps used to get your starter hood back: Buy some common(white rarity) shoulders, or whatever slot/item you want to transfer to another character, transmute the Vigil shoulders onto the common piece and then put it in your bank. It’s even been changed to show that the piece becomes “Account Bound.” You’ll lose out on the stats, but that’s not important. Also, this will work for any “Character Bound” equipment options like ones from the story that you want on a different character or class of the same armor type.

When i start up Guild Wars 2, than the smoothness is missing from my character. Its like a paint line, not smooth at all. The only way i can change this is by changing my graphic settings to best performance and than change it back again to auto-detect. I tryed to change each setting individual but that did not work. This not smoothness thing only happens when i start up the game but still very annoying.

I’m look for studded leather shoulder or something…. im not totally sure if thats the name of the shoulder. But i cant find it anywhere !!

That shoulder i’m talking about, i want it badly! Could some one tell me what it is called? Because if i search on studded in the black lion company… than i can find the chest, pants hands etc. except the shoulders!

It’s true that the armor looks bad on the most characters…. but it’s especially wierd that it looks wierd on sylvari since that has the same stracture as a human!

I totally agree with this one. My amore is just floating on the body it’s to wierd! But i don’t like to play the humans…. please fix it! :P

SOLVED ( maybe!!! ):
Maybe i know how to solve this problem. What i did is: I changed my audio device in-game from default to my VIA HD audio chip. And i change the sound quality from high to the middle. So far i didnt hear the buzz. It’s a bit short to be sure if this works. But so far it worked for me!
Give it a try i’d say!!

Having the same issue. Somethimes it will hapen a few times in a row with like 15 minutes between them. I’m doing allot of events with big fights and allot of people involved maybe thats the cause.

Please any answer from the tech team?

So i tried it all but nothing helped. I updated my VIA HD audio and i update my graphic card. Still getting that stupid buzz sound…. does Arena net knows about this problem since i’m not the only person who had this.
