Solstice its in game under your skill menu for buying skills. You can buy it already for 25 skill points.

Well this problem alienates the largest % of your players over any other problem in shear numbers…. really at this point I am down and out shocked.

One build does not rule them all. If you want to be effective against world bosses, then you’re going to need to switch off of your jack-of-all-trades spray-and-pray condition build.

Either that, or gear up with runes of Mercy so you can rez the people who understand that you can’t drop bosses by spamming conditions. This isn’t PVP.

Your post makes nearly no sense in the context of what people are saying….. we are saying power does rule them all.

Gw2 did away with the holy trinity and replaced it would Power, Power, Power

With the updated Tequatl fight yet again conditions specs are left without a use. Tequatl will always have maxed conditions on him and the bone walls are world items which means I stuck doing worthless damage the whole fight.

After a year is it really that hard to make conditions useful in pve? Honestly for a game that should millions of copies to leave out 25%+ of our customer base over and over seems a little odd. If there is time for these every 2 week updates, I cant for the life of me understand why this would be put on the back burner for so long.

For condition fighters, we need two sets of armor, two sets of ascended. Just to be useful in pvp and pve. We have to learn two builds and change every time we want to do WvWvW or PvE. It is honestly getting old.

Week after week, one server beats down two servers to the point of no contest…

I mean honestly instead of making living world updates for one month I pray you guys would just take a look at WvWvW. These match ups have been horrible to say the least.

Well, it has been answered now. It was just routine maintenance, which was unrelated to whatever happened to the Lyss event. A dev was asked, a dev answered.

Stealth changes breed conspiracy theories.

Every time we have an update people insist that this or that has been nerfed. Sometimes we’re right sometimes we’re wrong, but regardless, this is bad for the game; it causes confusion and mistrust.

I’m not saying that Anet must include every minor change in the update notes, but by this point in time, Anet should know which changes we would like to see listed and which changes we don’t really care about.

An exploit is an abuse of an unintended design. A lot of things can be considered an exploit by definition; however, most people label an exploit by the degree of abuse. In my opinion, this lies in the grey area of an exploit. The damage done is not that significant but clearly farming the mobs from an event for like an hour is clearly unintended.

Is farming BL keys with new chars unintended? Is running COF p1 over and over unintended? Event gone or not we shouldn’t be forced to run CoF p1 over and over to make money. Real game farmers get overly punished.

I realize that the timing looks suspicious, but the maintenance update had nothing to do with the event change.

but that at the same time doesn’t mean it wasn’t changed. As that could be taken as a play on words in all due respect.

Love the game but I like farming. The majority of players would like for DR to be up front maybe even a warning showing us we are in DR like a debuff.

You guys made legendaries a grind but then punish us for doing what we are forced to do by design. A lot of the player base enjoy farming, but despise the system that is in place in a otherwise amazing game.

One patch they give our pry bar 5 stacks now the next they nerf it 50%….. I think its clear they honestly don’t have a clue what is going on at the moment but I give them credit for trying everything

Was thinking more along these lines, not sure and its a huge karma/dungeon run investment to gather all the exotic armor etc. So I wanted to check what other people run.

Any build is viable if you know how to play the game.

Stop letting cookie cutter people tell you what’s right and wrong. What is the “only” way and what isn’t. Play the way you want to. I haven’t ever gotten a complaint on my build anywhere, ever. And it’s not even a real build. It’s a farming build atm O.o

Don’t listen to the guy who tells you to being a wiffle bat into a major league game.. smh. How he farms/pves is his own bad choice. No one ever said there is only one way to play but there is always a better way because this class is far from balanced looking inward.

Major nerf with minor things that don’t make up for it. Large enough to break classes all together

Played this class since Beta, Ill switch over to my Elem now as main. Thanks for wasting my time. I normally don’t rage post but honestly what the hell are they doing

We are not the new mesmer. FT is still not worth taking other than allowing for more burst damage with the Number 2 into your DPS dump. Even then tho its not.

You take it because you like attention, like the way it looks, or both. Our reputation hasn’t changed we have always been deadly in decent hands but our class still lacks a firm sense of being a minor buff to FT’ hasn’t change that, if we were to be honest.

We may have more people playing the class now but that is just due to the reputation the 100nades build has got us.

Buffs don’t offset the nerf on a already broken class compared to others. I am glad it helped you out but for a large part of this class it has made it much worse and when comparing to other classes we are very much lacking what we should have the most which is being a class that is able to accommodate to whats going on current. We are forced down one route and stuck in it.

We aren’t the jack of all trades we are the lacking of everything and to be found lacking we have to spec heavy into that field.

You do know that event rewards (the exp,karma and coin) are not affected by DR right? What did you expect? More gold for each event completed?

Ultima online, had no such problems. Deer had meat and hides everytime. Never did you go kill a pig and it drop a vanq katana. Honestly its not hard to make loot tables. Ultima online could do it 16 years ago with 5% of the budget.
