make players who rally up come back with 25-33% health not 50%, like impact said get rid of the invulnerable window when they go down, and elimate gyro res and make all res traits grandmaster. pssssssst please buff shortbow #2 (more dmg), #3 (more dmg or more leap back range), #4 (More duration of poison) on thief plz thank you, dont let this thread go 2nd page, this stuff needs to get fixed asap!
I know it’s against the idea of “exploration” to implement something like this, but i know me and a few others would appreciate if there was an alternative way to obtaining this gift. I did world completion a little bit over 2 years ago when you were required to do wvw maps as part of world completion and i wouldn’t do it again since i feel like it will burn me out this game.
I’m a mainly spvp/wvw player and it would be great if you made a reward track that required you 4 parts spreaded out in 4 different reward tracks that when you put them together it makes the gift of exploration.
Another idea for wvw is to make a permanent achievement that rewards gift of exploration if you complete wvw map completion (if you bring it back!) within the match up week, that way you will see a lot of active players running around against each other on a daily basis trying to obtain the achievement.
More suggestions/opinions/imput appreciated!
Kinda an idea on what to change it to, not exactly though, ik it’s still bad. It’s the passive fear when you hit somebody with this rune that makes it broken. I’m a power user, i play all classes with some type of burst, and of course stab, condi clear etc., when i position myself to burst someone 100 to 0, this rune procs and saves them lol, it’s kinda like cc’ing a warrior to see if he has traited stab, then cc chain, except this is a rune not a master or gm trait.
Doesn’t change the fact that it procs cc on hit, key point. Why would anyone defend a passive thing lol i don’t get that, i prefer more reactive gameplay less laziness. Going by how you wrote it, you would be fine if it proced a 20 fear because we have stun breaks and stab, right? lol

Please change the passive fear on this rune, it’s not the 90sec icd or 1 sec fear that needs to be toned down but gone completely, i understand the traits compete with each other, but a rune having passive cc on HIT should not exist, plz change to something like every 20 secs convert an enemy boon into a condition or something like that.

1 blind and i guess Gravedigger goes into an 8 second cd.
The best time to condi burst is when they get out of water, and always check what heal are they using, if they have ether renewal just ignore them, they clear 9 conditions on a 14 1/2 sec cd (traited).

It was the same pre-patch, what some used to do was take signet of midnight for the instant distortion and used the healing signet in a predictable way to avoid dmg after the cast time. Now that illusionary persona is baseline you can use distortion (assuming you have zero illusions up) to setup your heal if you think you’re gonna get interrupted.
I mentioned that towards the bottom. A good player will build for + 100% condition duration and take better stats or sigils. Even after a said -+40 food nerf, the condition player can drop some stuff he took before and build up for the +100% again while the player with condition reduction can’t make up the loss of – condi. That’s why i suggested toning down the other sources of adding condition duration. Warrior with +50% bleed trait or a necro with +33% condi with scepter are or used to be the only exceptions that went above +100% condition duration.
If anything needs a tone down it’s + 40 condition duration food. There are many ways to increase Condition duration while remaining tanky. 30% from 6 in Power trait, (warrior 50% bleed, necro scepter 33%, or trap ranger) trait that increase specific condition/weapon type, 30-45% specific condition duration runes or 10-15% general condition duration runes, 20% from specific condition sigil, 10% from sigil of malice, 20% from conjure frost bow, 20% from giver weapons, 40% from food, and 10% from toxic stones. Only way to reduce condition is rune, trait, and food. If they want to tone down both -+40 food, i suggest they also tone down all of the sources of addition to condition duration, without it +100% condi duration cap could still be met.

The first time i enter either wvw, a dungeon, or a pvp match after i log in is fine. The moment i exit any of those and i try to come back to wvw or another pvp game i get the usual loading screen and just before appearing on the map i get a “Gw2 has stopped working” followed by “Send error to ArenaNet”. The only way I found on how to enter any mode again is to restart my computer all over again and it takes quite a lot of time considering i’m leaving my party with a dc’ed.
I already tried clearing the game’s cache and deleting a “crash” game file in my gw2 folder and still with no solution. If anyone knows what else i can try to solve this issue please let me know, any help is greatly appreciated.

Don’t care if main post is troll, but i could see sword #2 on guard port foward just like mesmer staff #2 ports back (requiring “about face” hotkey to move foward).
Used 14 tomes of knowledge then a level 20 scroll LOL
idk why i imagined a medi guard using JI and gs #2 into a zerg fighting the champ at stat when i saw the tittle.
Been in SoS for 2 years and haven’t thought once on transferring. If you’re looking for a strong community and a server to call home, SoS is the place for you.
I was messing around with the gem exchange window for a bit and apparently everything is there I just don’t know what is what. I converted some gems by accident lol. Just need to know where the confirm button appears.

I’ve been trying to exchange gems into gold for the past few days and the gem exchange window stays gray and doesn’t seems to load. Both the gem store and trading post are working fine for me. Is there any way to fix it?
couple of things I would change on shield, be able to move while using shield #5, reflect instead of absorb, cd 35secs, make shield #4 knockback up to 5 enemies.

If you want to kill, just switch everything to zerk and use sigil of air and force on dagger/pistol and bloodlust energy on shortbow.
Npcs spawn like 5mins after their death, though it would be super troll if you could kill their trading post, laurel vendor, and crafting dudes and stayed dead for the rest of the week.
Mind putting results?

I would say there’s more chance of it dropping directly as loot than from wvw rank-up chests and bags.
Both SoS bl and EB has insane lag and disconnections. Need a dev response on this.
lol, should’ve recorded the time when the troll killed kholer by himself and had almost full health.
You can go to lfg tab and turn your status to offline/invisible, that way, even if they block you to pm you, their message will get cancelled since you’re “offline”.
Everything has to be either tremendously grindy or easy enough to finish it for the same time I take to log in and get through the loading screens, there’s no in between here.
I use it in a combination with sigils of hydromancy and intelligence and it hits like a truck, never really used it for the chill effect, but for the AoE dmg.
I would like to see red tag for frontline and blue tag for backline positioning and the rest of the colors for scouting and havoc groups.
Account bound commander tag brings Uplevel commanders?

I don’t think there’s an upgrade besides sigil of generosity and agony resistance infusions, that costs 250 gems converted from/to gold. With 250 gems converted into gold you can buy more than one of the most expensive upgrades I didn’t list above. With that said, I’m too looking forward to salvage wvw gear even if it doesn’t drop exos or dark matter, just looking to get my upgrade back
Probably a bug. I’ve seen it happen in wvw too.
stolen ability whirlwind from warrior doesn’t reflect projectiles, it works the same way as as the warrior’s. Dagger storm is the only reflect the thief has access to.

Super shield looks identical when it’s wielded lol. Ghastly shield skin looks more legendary to me.
It appears the dungeon track is frozen and can’t progress further as of today. Anyone else has this problem?
The only reasons why a warrior shouldn’t hit rush should be either because your target ran out of the 1,200 range from your starting point, if your target Dodged your attack, or if your target hided behind a structure. Right now you can use bull’s charge or rush on someone who is just standing still and still pass by and hit the air, how isn’t that a bug?
25 stacks of might still counts as 1 boon, empowered works better the more variety of boons you have.
They need to lower the amount of gems the extractor costs. Lets see, 9g=100 gems then you would need 22.5g to get 250 gems. Is there any upgrade out there besides agony resistance that costs more than 22.5gold? Same goes if you buy gems, you can get more gold by converting those 250gems into gold, buy the upgrade off the tradepost and still have some leftover money.
This is the 66% chance to steal health on crit, 70 precision 45min food? The effect only lasts 10 mins lol, and it only gives you a misty effect not stealth. It looks quite nice if you wear a corrupted/super main hand weapon with the flameseeker or super shield, you’re like a walking lightbulb.
I would rather like them to remove rally from dead people, they should only be able to fully revive by either healing on down state or by allies, not from a pve mob or a player that possibly downed you first, but was interrupted by something else.
80 man from same guild > +-50 man scattered guilds
The first day was the adapt-to-tier-1 day, sos was winning ppt for the first few hours, but BG literally took a huge lead by spiking people with bloodlust. Although BG and TC have 2xs the lead in points we have doing quite good in fights in our prime time, we just don’t have the numbers to cap and defend at the same time.
The requirement to tag should be to be somewhere around rank 250-400 and have 5-10k kills (what op said). This would somewhat ensure the server a decent-to-experienced commander
Legendaries will be account bound, you could just keep one Legendary on your class (lets assume its a dual dagger thief), craft an ascended dagger (very cheap) with the stats you prefer to use, put the incinerator skin on it and you could give the other incinerator to lets say a scepter/dagger necro. Both thief and necro will be running with legendaries (highest weapon stats and exchangeable stats at any time) and thief still remains with two incinerators and top stats.
