My guild met up and quickly went our separate ways as well. I have been waiting for this like a kid this week, and sad to see it turn out like that. I’ll end my rant early, have needs to be said have already been done so. I’ll give it one more shot tomorrow to see what’s up.

As the title say some or most of these have been on the gem store and people used money on them. The rarity and the slim chance they were on the gem store in the first place was what made them special. This just feels lazy and kind of rude towards the customers that payed real money to get them.

I would love to have at least two saved builds for each aspect of the game, but would that promote require build/gear shift between fights? Put like a 2 min cooldown between switching builds, maybe less, maybe more.

What he said, glide and go after mastery point and you’ll start to know your way around. I only played for a few hours and I know the map well by now. What scares me are the Mordrem Guard Snipers that uses rangers Rapid Fire on you :P

I want to post a comment here for my +1 on more sPVP maps. Even if most are virtually the same, the variety would be refreshing.

I 100% agree, some new visuals would make it seem more refreshing. There is not a lot of maps, so any kind of new addition would be welcome. Glad that we get stronghold, that’s at least 1 extra, but sadly nothing new to ranked.

Thanks for not changing the usefulness of the necros in meta groups. Those people don’t care about turning Buffs into Conditions, they want stealth, swiftness and might buffs, blast finishers and useful fields. But the warrior looks great…. as always.. Sorry I’m working through the steps of grief, i’m on step 2 now which is anger

Now I haven’t read the wall of texts here, just in to say how disappointed I am. From what they showed on POI, I see no reason for anything will change for us. We will not be wanted for “meta” runs in Dungeons or Fractals. We get NOTHING that can contribute or make us desired in such groups, no buffs to benefit the group. Since no one cares of “necros are meant to turn buffs into conditions” as the devs like to say. How blind are they? They made a game which deems several profession unwanted.

Dragonhunter should be an title in-game, we are all dragon hunters here. Calling this spec that, is kind of an insult to all other ""non-dragon hunters"" out there.

If there was a deterministic way of getting in, all slots would have been snatched up within an hour of it being available. If it could be bought, there would be none to buy.

Also, there are massive legal implications about selling beta slots. If you go in looking to farm that portal, you will be disappointed. Go to the zones looking to play the zones, the portal is a bonus. Besides, it’s a beta event. You won’t be in there playing HoT until it’s released. You’re basically asking to pay ANet money for the opportunity to work for them (a beta tester should be finding and reporting bugs, not playing for the fun of playing).

Additionally, they said there will be no NDA, so you aren’t missing on information or anything either.

In the same boat as well. Give us another method of gaining entry, also a beta player from before launch and would crush me to know I didn’t get to do this because of the “RNG” system. I’m too sick to work I spend my days at home, so to say that I have spent minium of 10 hours a day in SW is a modest estimate and no beta portal. It took all energy I could muster to not rage and swear in this post.. Please do something Anet

Yeah wonder how long they will let this go on for. Just to try to grab some attention I’m going to add keywords that Anet uses to respond to “gem store, money”. now we play the waiting game.

This^ I think would be an excellent start.

What shocked me the most was when I saw my guild mates were doing a rank 20 fractal in the LFG and joined in with my necro, and no had no idea that i would be unwelcome to join a guild run.. For a rank 20 fractal for not being meta, granted these individuals are a bit elitist but it truly came as a big surprise being excluded among guildies, from a low ranked fractal for not being meta. So if necro gets buffed or all meta gets nerfed, I truly don’t mind either of them as long as something changes. Cause this is ridiculous, having a whole community rejecting professions. ok this one was a bit of a rant, sorry

Getting tired of having my dear Necro excluded from PvE/Fractals because it’s not “Meta” Doesn’t matter how much agony resistance or even if it’s all ascended. If you’re playing a necro, then you have to settle for less Experienced/organized groups.

Anything in the expansion that will Balance this? Least give us something that makes us even a bit of a team player.

This wasn’t meant as a rant, I have other lvl 80’s “meta” but Necro is my favorite and would love to see them getting some love.
