Morning friends. I find myself in the middle of a small conundrum, which the title may or may not give away. We’ve been gifted with a Level 80 boost, a fabulous prize that I do not wish to waste.
So my question is… Is Revenant worth creating and spending this boost on right now? I have been reading the forums quite a bit lately, and it doesn’t seem that the class is in a very good place atm. For perspective, I primarily play PvE, with very brief excursions into PvP.

Feel free to give me your opinions in the positive or negative. I appreciate your help and feedback.

To be honest I’m hearing different opinions, if you go to every class board they will all likely yell you the same thing beyond ele, because while some do have problems the others are just making it sound worse then it is, I’m having fun leveling mine, also revenant is really fun in dungeons and fractals since you can switch rolls like a Swiss army knife, I’m not sure how true that is for raising they say here it’s not.

Anyways I recommend you try it yourself because it’d hard to tell for sure, I would use it on a playstyle you know you love.

Seems like my advice wasn’t so bad after all, eh.

OT: Rev is versatile, wanted and fun to play, but without Glint I imagine leveling is a pain in the kitten , so it’s def. worth using your boost.

Revenant ist fine in PvE and brings a lot to the table. You should just try it out instead of relying on other people’s opinions.

With 1:39 time limit.

We were improving quite a lot each try and pretty confident that we could have beaten it the same night, then I got kicked out to character select unfortunately, and since we’ve only been 9 people the entire time we were calling it a night.

I love the fight and everyone in our group had a blast figuring it out. We had some great communication and coordination going on. It’s a cool introduction to raids and I look forward to playing more. It is the most fun I’ve had in PvE for a while in this game.

Our hope is that when we’re asking the developers to look at fewer forums — to not have to scroll down 11 times to get to the bottom group, to not have to play a guessing game of “Where would players look for this info?” — there will be increased developer participation.

I’m not surprised. The existing dungeon paths allow speed running, essentially due to weak design. There’s no point create new dungeons with that same weakness but there’s also no point creating dungeons (like TA aether) that take longer than a speed run.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the designers create something new that is dungeon like but isn’t a dungeon. There is a need for meaty group content somewhere in LS2.

At this point, I would be surprised if they created anything new besides bugs in dungeons.

No fancy creative combinations, but i like it.

I am really, really disappointed. T3 Cultural Armor is supposed to be something special and prestigious and I was really happy when i could finally afford it two weeks ago, and now this. How can you design this and think it would be a good thing ? This screws everyone who bought his T3 armor. I would love to hear what the anet guys thought when they decided this.
Next year we’ll have legendaries in the BLS for 10k gems.
