Was wondering how to know that I’m on an organized overflow and how to join their TS/Mumble/Vent servers so i can contribute correctly

Hey i I was wondering what Anets stance is on this?

i have a second account that used to be my brothers (he doesn’t use it anymore) and was wondering if there is a way (or if you guys even allow it) to have 2 instances of guild wars 2 running at the same time (other than having 2 computers) i remember Guild wars 1 had a program called gwx2 i think it was called.

is there something like that for guild wars 2?

the thing is i bought it from the guild wars 2 website.. buy.guildwars2.com :P

oh forgot, the prompt came up right after hitting complete purchase..

ok so I’ve read a few of the posts from devs

they are claiming that subsequent characters should have received the gift.. neither of mine have

It would appear as though 2 of my characters have reached the 12 month plateau.

however neither of them have received the birthday gift

not sure if other people have also had this bug.

just letting you guys know!

is it better to get a vesion of windows and run in on boot camp?

anyone know anything about this?

im loving the client. very smooth and great graphics. unfortunately ive been randomly crashing towards the end of every fractals run i have done.

the entire client just closes and it does not show me any error code or ask to send report. any idea what may be causing this?

o shoot also account or toon based?

or is DR based per killing each type of creature?

also is DR for farming based per zone? or world wide?

also how can you tell what your DR “score” is? and how often does it reset/go down?

It says that it should not effect normal players. but how does anet define a normal player?

for me the way i make my gold (and one of the things i enjoy in the game) is by doing farming runs. i also use this to help recruit for my guild, however i have begun to notice drop rates getting worse on rare items and other tier 6 mats that i used to get plenty of.

so here are my 2 questions

1: at what point does DR come into effect?

2:is there any way to reset your DR level?

ya i was thinking boot camp for the better qulaity.. and thanks for the info about the graphics prob going to upgraded then

also should i use bootcamp and run it on windows? or is the mac beta going to be updated soon?

well im on a server that during non prime time pretty much always has the outmanned buff on all maps save our own.

we still manage to stay moderately competitive throughout the entire matchup, beating one server that has more than us but getting annihilated by the other one

i play GW2 on my PC at home, at work i use macs and am now buying one for home use

would it be worth upgrading the processor to:
3.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz
for $200?

or should it run fine?

does the rating system take in server population/average amount of people in WvW at any given time?
