Condition Engi / Control Guard
Afternoon & Late Night Crew – WvWvW
I joined Unlimited about a month and a half ago.
I’d tried the zerg guilds, I tried the “small tight-nit” guilds but nothing was cutting it for me.
Just when I was about to give up hope, a group of 10 or so people ran by me.
Why do I remember this moment?
Because it was then, that WvWvW became more fun to me. Not just because we were beating zergs that outnumbered us by at least 2:1. It was because we were following exact and precise directions and moving as one unit.
This almost never happens in most MMO’s. But it definitely happens when you run with <ULTD>

is what I use. The build focuses on maximizing control. Lots of snares, knockbacks, and ring of warding. It’s primarily for WvW but it could prove useful in dungeons, completely knocking out a mob or two for a good long while.
I want to put a question out there for all severs, no bias just a questions.
How would you feel if we had this same match up next week?
Personal opinions and server based.
I’m down for it. Even if we’re the underdog, there’s been a lot of fun fights and a lot of OHKITTEN moments that really make it worth playing.
Also, for those TC that were camping the invuln cliff side yesterday when ULTD was attacking Sunny Hill, I hope you learned your lesson about trying to trickle down at me. It was a blast knocking you off the cliff and feeding you to the rest of my guild
Update. Figured some people may be interested.
Update!
What a great night in Red borderlands. Tarnished Coast has some ridiculous numbers.
Not sure if it’s true but I read somewhere that if you push over 120% MF you actually get bounced back to ~99% MF. I’ve stuck at 110% personally and usually get 2-3 rares per plinx loop.
Would love a response, I refuse to do any more explorables because it’s frankly just a waste of time if I don’t get the end-dungeon rewards…
I just recently got a group for TA Exp and we completed the U/U path.
The NPC is at the end of the dungeon and we have the “Congratulation! The Arbor is Safe.” However, no cinematic was triggered and none of us got any end dungeon rewards.
Is what I’ve been using for tPvP and WvW skirmishing. Works fairly nicely and if you aim it right you can get your trap to hit a large group and do massive condi dmg.
Swap between horn OH for swift boon out of combat and swap back to torch before combat starts.

Ouch.. I log out for the night and morning and just log on to get ready for my usual runs but there’s nothing to do.. Transfers have flooded in
^ Couldn’t have said it better.
Not bad but people who know your build and know how to play will easily be able to destroy your turrets and then you’re sitting with nothing but a bunch of cooldowns.
I run www.gw2build.com/builds/engineer-the-alchemical-drunk-pvp-pvp-alchemy-elixers-5339.html personally. Good for teamfights because of elixir throws, good condition damage, and tons of survivability.
- Rangers utility;(Its nothing compared to other professions and the damage they bring doesn’t make up for it, needs tone up Imho)
- Thief,Mesmer and Engineer downed state;(Tone down Imho)
Stopped reading here honestly. Power Shortbow Rangers and Condition are both excellent at what they do, their damage exceeds other classes in a short time-span.
Also, there is nothing wrong with engineer downstate.

I like keep my toolbelt binds similar to the corresponding utility skill so I just put a shift in front of it a voila!
Weapon Skills 1-5
Utility Skills A, D, R, T, V
Toolbelt Shift A, Shift D, Shift R, Shift T
Confirmed. First place in a PuG and no trophy. The one time I get first without having to get a premade.
