the order of whispers chest is super sexy…only the rest of the set is kinda funky so i mixed it up
I love warrior and playing it and dishing out lots of damage is fun but i’m frustrated as hell with it because…i am always dying or getting downed i guesss. I got rid of my bloodlust sigil just because i got downed everytime i turned around. I play pure zerk because well…i dont have to explain why to play a zerk war but i feel like more of a burden than an asset to the group even though people want me to bring it for the dps in dungeons.
I feel like retiring my warrior because i just can’t keep survivability up with it…
uhhh wtf? Can someone explain that build to me? >.>;;
so someone showed me this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jx8t3XVBKd8
a few days ago and i can tell what some of it is, but the one with the red high boots i can’t figure out what gear that is. Does anyone know or is this video faked machinima or…?
Can someone help me out?
I got an achievment on my ranger i was leveling in the Norn starter area by clicking the refugee broken sign…no achievments for giving badges of dead refugees though…
It is now almost 330 pm PST and I haven’t seen any explanation of how to start this event…
The crafting thing was kinda lame…but also very easy. I just went to a station of my craft, made 10 steel bars out of the ton of iron i had and it was complete….the underwater daily and combo field one i’m more ticked about…
well right now my gear is mostly power/toughness/condition damage. I don’t really need the power since I don’t Burst damage, the toughness is nice for extra armor but doesn’t seem to help enough for survivability, and I use lots of conditions for fighting (sceptor/focus OH/staff) I know because i put 30 into my death magic I gained more toughness but i only could put 10 in Soul Reaping. I still feel I have a tough time kiting and not getting one shot faster than other people.
A guy I met up with suggested for kiting and survivability in dungeons and just as a main build to add Healing Power in my gear. I found the Apothecary exotics to have both condition and healing (condition being the original type of necro build i had intentionally wanted).
How do you feel about a necro using healing power mixed along with the damage?
There is one particular boss in CoF that self heals and going off to try CoF with my mesmer friend he said for me we needed heavy poison to stop the health regenerating. I am so use to all my condition damage being bleeds, I had to scroll through all my weapons and skills. I found this poison field ability, that stacked with Chillblains and your staff’s auto attack make a self poison combo.
I use to use Well of Suffering as one of my main skills but not only can I place the poison cloud anywhere i want, it stays there longer than a staff mark and enemies standing in it go down far faster.
I love it.
I don’t know, when I reached 80 the game turned into something totally different and new. Yes there is a grind for exotic gear and legendaries, however I view it since it is a free to play game, they just made that a way to make up for endgame content.
It’s ftp and its a game that I can just log on whenever I want and just play just because I like to play the game. If you want a more storyline thing like wow had and more of a “progressive” raid type thing happening I would suggest this is the wrong game for you.
So for a build that uses those abilities from Discipline what weapons would be optimal for swapping? Right now i use a greatsword (love 100 strikes) and a longbow. I found hammer to be uninteresting in its moves…
I am leveling up a warrior and was looking at how i wanted to build it and found the last trait line, Discipline, to look interesting but confusing too as to what kind of build it would create.
Can anyone explain to me exactly what putting my point in its abilities in that trait would effect my warrior or if putting much in it would make me a weak warrior. I’m going for a damage type build.
Thanks.
I just got my first character to 80 and of course, she’s still in lvel 70s greens and some rare and I have saved up over 100k karma to buy gear to find out…its sold by vendors in Ruins of Orr. So I head out to run into a place called Strait of Destruction that I can’t get past to even get to Orr, or even know if the karma vendors I need for gear are even there.
I’m thoroughly confused how to start getting my new 80 Necromancer level 80 gear and don’t know where the vendors or currencies are, or why i can’t reach Orr.
If anyone would help explain to me i’d be so happy because if I ask people in the game they just troll me…
Thanks
crafting your own armor or simply getting karma armor from heart vendors will suffice all the way to 80
I was told not to use my karma until 80 because of how expensive it was that I needed to have enough by reaching 80…
I’m about to reach 60 and my gear is slacking behind, I know i can get the cultural armor at 60 and there are other types from other sources of currency, i just needed to know which route i should take to upgrade my gear?
I am wanting to make a build that would require traits from death magic, but even though it increases toughness it also grants boon…what kind of “boon” does a necromancer have that I’m not aware of…?
I don’t know of any buffs if anything necromancer reminds me of just “Debuff myself to debuff the enemy” kind of style.
I’m D/D or S/D, with Staff on the side. Rock the well-targeting/improved marks/buffed vampiric traits/Fear biz. For utilities, I generally go 2 Wells/BiP or a Spectral. Elite’s Plague or Reaper of Grenth. What’s a Minion?
Why D/D instead of S/D because when I try dagger…getting so close will get me killed faster at times and I like sceptor because of the extra bleed damage and then the enfeebling blood…mobs die pretty fast without me having to kite too much.
How do you build a Siphon build? Do you have any examples?
BTW that build was just a build I tweaked it some (especially for pvp) until i suited it to my taste, but i’m more than welcome for ideas on types of builds
I was looking for a build that went around the way i play my necromancer and found this

I hope that link isn’t too big
I was out soloing and trying to get a skill point and a person helping me said i needed to use minions or else i’m just playing support…
what do you think?
I have not been able to find how to get killing blows from foci or warhorns unless there is another trick to it…any help?
I rolled a toon a few weeks ago and joined a guild that was very social and tried helping me out for being new to GW2.
So i happen to be an altoholic and have rolled all the classes and races and deleted and kept only a few and have not really leveled past 11 due to lack of knowledge of leveling up in pve. What he said to me that has stuck in my head is how I can’t keep leveling up 5 characters and playing them all and that “The game starts at 80!”.
I wondered on your opinion at that statement since i see a lot of complaints about reaching level 80 and people disappointed.
