I am with the rest of these guys crippling lag last couple days… on the plus side it made me want to play some single player age of empires lmao

and as far as that golem not taking damage just use condition damage when its not shielded and it will suffer the damage from it while it is shielded… keep that up and they will fall over dead easily

the whole dungeon was way too easy nerfing the fast small laser is the most ignorant thing ive heard of … thats where the only challenge is in that fight… and they put out soo many boxes for you to jump over… hell i just walk through it no worries…

beat this dungeon as a warrior with an engineer buddy… duo for the win…
if anything this dungeon just needs to be upgraded in difficulty

only beat it twice now but dont really see a point in doing it again and again as the loot reward for doing it isnt quite there.

Made it through this dungeon with a warrior (me) and an engineer (leader of NoWo) didnt even wipe at the last boss counter.

All in all this dungeon is a win but could definitely be harder!

I hope southsun shore is by far harder than this MF dungeon was!

being in an MMO really throws out the point that you should at least make some kind of attempt at some point to do group play…

the kegbrawl is in hoelbrak and there will be a barbrawl at some point in the busted flaggon in divinitys reach!

also near the flaggon is another event that can not be done yet some kind of archery game

This is almost annoying to see everybody in WvW the same color when everybody else is able to see my gear colors

Is there a way to fix this or am i just screwed with PvP style coloring

Snowball mayhem was easy took me a while to figure it out but just work on 2 achievements at the same time instead of one or the other… Knock the other carrier out then get the ball and haul to your base. I got both mine done in less than 2 hours with that theory.

I would like to know what percentage of the GW2 population can complete this jump puzzle. I tired it 100 times easy, no way. I’m guessing 1-2%?

Anyway, just frustrated how this game only caters to the skilled elite who can dedicate 10-12 hours per day on it, and not the casual player like me (5-6 hours per week). With the drop rate nerf, why play anymore… Without spending real $ can’t see how to get ahead in this game?

This is completely bogus. Just spend more time in between holiday puzzles and you can practice even on a “casual player” time base. I completed this jumping puzzle on the 5th try i believe. Just takes a little bit of practice and the fact that you don’t have to be the one leading the pact but you cant take a half hour either. With that in mind you should have no problem as long as you try. If you keep having a lot of issues try putting the graphics on your computer to best performance i do that and get flawless game play during the dungeon runs.

Since the jump puzzle has been released for wintersday I have done it at least once a day each day. At most after the first day it has taken me around 1-3 tries to get it complete. So about 3-10 minutes roughly.

Your only going to spend hours if you are bad at jumping. In that case practice more between holidays before you try more and don’t request them to be knocked down easier than this. This was a cakewalk.

Unfortunately due to technical limitations and time constraints before the holidays, we cannot change it. RNG Boxes in Gem Stores for Events, sales will be down. FACT: Many people spent $50 or more on gems for the RNG boxes alone and got absolutely robbed. Those players will not touch them anymore after being burned that hard.
RNG Event Mystic Forge recipies will be avoided. FACT: Many players threw away countless stacks of glue and stuffing to make the tonics, only to end up broke, without glue or stuffing, and sitting on 5 frames that now have to sit in their inventory and take up space.
Events that promise to give a reward for participating will see less participants. FACT: Many Players who were involved with Tixx each day at his reset, does the jumping puzzle each day at reset, and spent time gift-hunting in pve/pvp walked away in the end with Nothing, (or their choice of 2 mini’s, of an available 9, at best). Some people shot for tonics and now cannot make the mini’s.

Many players were burnt on many levels with this event.

Sure, those who got what they wanted aren’t complaining. Good for you.

I’m not asking for anything FREE. I understand Anet has to make money somehow. But limiting it all to so much RNG and then making sure we couldnt grind out mats, thus forcing us to resort to gemstore to complete the collection is complete bullocks.

If the Golem/Inferarium/Snowman was a package like Halloween, then 700 Gems for that, (2 purchases, 1 to make Foostivooo The Merry) is reasonable. Then we can take the 2 free mini’s and drop another 1050 in gems to get the other three. Perfect. No complaints. That’s still 1800Gems that needs purchased or Gold-Sunk. Probably would have had More buyers at that rate.

As it stands, people put 2000+ Gems into those wintersday boxes and walked away with 1 or less of those mini’s. Then, find out the next day after exhausting all gems on their RNG boxes, that they weren’t giving us the ability to craft the 5 gifts and we would again, be required to open banks and dish out more for Anet.

I don’t see this being a problem unless you are running a bot to gather mats for you. I just kill everything then harvest the area. So far it hasn’t failed me yet.

I am in the same boat as you just seems to be more frequent. I can not even bring myself to play the game soon as i get somewhere im d/c’d already havent seen any info or heard anything from gms yet either

happened for me on latest patch worked great last night and even early this morning

right click on your guild wars 2 icon
create shortcut on your desktop
right click new icon and rename Guild Wars 2 Repair
right click said icon and go to properties
type -repair at the end of the target line out side the " mark
run that icon to scan your games files for corruption

I use the same setup I have since I bought this game. Before October. Nothing has changed until today when I signed in it kicks me. No other programs have been loosing internet connection. So I’m pretty sure its not my side. And by the look of the other posts in this category it seems it is getting a little bit more common.

I can’t play this game since the last patch. Every time I go about doing anything my game either goes to the character select screen or shuts down. I can get into the game for about 5-10 minutes then the disconnect error pops up. Any idea on what I could do to fix it or is it a server side issue?

I deleted the local.dat file somebody said that would help it didn’t.

After reading that all I got out of it was that you like the hard to get dungeon gear but want to be able to do an easier dungeon to get it. Maybe if you try harder to actually do something on the game instead of leave for a few weeks and hope for the best you might get somewhere
