Too much fun was had with Icoa and Rev on Reset.

i agree with XT. great fun during reset!

If you enjoy wvw pick a tier 1-2 server and join a wvw guild. most are pretty close knit and have frequent wvw raid nights.

Not just great… it was a beautiful reset. We did so well we had 500+ppt about 4 hours in.

1) there are a lot but some good battles i can remember are tsym,tw/twl,choo,hzh

2) tw put up a fun and tactical fight definitely fun and tough to fight when we have even guild numbers

3) GoF doesn’t come on the forums often so i don’t know… But i really like LOVE’s score updates especially when they are hand draw with rainbows and sunshine

Sorry for the horrible attempt at poetry but we ran across at least 50-60 BG trying to kill the Aboreal Spirt and JUST as we get into range the Spirit did a knockback. Our meager group of 30 or so proceeded to rush in and kill them all. To add insult to injury we set up siege at the chest. Of course we had to put the poor dear tree out of it’s misery. It seemed to have ruptured a taproot laughing along with us.

Thanx for the fun BG. Hell of a way to end a night in EB.

As for JQ……stay away from our Aboreal Spirit and keep doing whatever it is that you have been doing. My “f” button does not discrimate when it comes to loot bags.

I was commanding when that happend, i warned them and told them so we deserved the wipe, your poem was good i thought. Also it was not a zerg od Rise and GoF, was 15-20 GoF with a cluster of 40+ other people all from different tags.

I agree fighting tsym zerg force at rogues quarry was intense i thought we were going to wipe for sure… But never underestimate the militia i guess somehow we won… They were pretty kitten ed about losing that chest… And i could see this red bloodlust in their eyes, i actually got scared and was a bit worried for you guys… Best fight ive had in a while!

Great fighting in SoR today, especially the balancing act in Bay. Was several hours of move countermove, and got to say, your commander has some skills! Hope to see more stuff from your teams tomorrow, I know the wife had to pry me off the keyboard with a stick.

Great job all around, both our SoR scrappers and the BG/JQ opponents. Easy peasy taking the field when your roflstomping the crap out of everyone, but hats off to the commanders who are able to bring the heat when your not chip leader.

It was definitely the most fun I had in a long time, excellent and very thrilling keep take with many many great battles. Had great fun fighting you guys (Tsym) and many other guilds amongst your group. Im pretty sure every time we pushed into lords room i said. " omfg the arrowcarts!!" It was insane… Great siege placement on your behalf. Also there were multiple commanders (myself from GoF, morg from Icoa, sig also from Icoa even tagged up at one point I believe) not just one and our militia were doing an excellent job listening and following us.

Hope to have more fights like these the weeks to come.

Great, great battles in jq bl from both sor and jq. Had lots of fun fighting the large SoR force at zerg island and SE tower! Awesome fights Hel, Fear, and SPQR definitely made this evening very exciting

Very amazing defense on SoR BL for the past 4 hours, had lots lots of fun fighting you guys and thinking up new ways to attack. Looking forward to great situations like this in the future!

Haven’t gone through these forums in a while, but wanted to stop by and say hi to all the DH peeps that still remember me…. If there are any left XD hope things are going well for DH!

A bit late, but great fights yesterday on BG BL around 2pm server time! Got on and jq was attacking garri from both sides, after a couple of good fights there we managed to push you guys out and take the towers ( literally push… You guys had sooo many people!) and then we had some amazing fights at the NW camp, I believe there was a small group of EMP there amongst the zerg of other guilds and you guys still did amazing! Having a blast fighting both JQ and SoR great great fights and I hope there are more to come!

P.s- 3-5 lonely mesmerism running at you when a guild horde is patiently waiting near you is never a good thing. <3

This is what I love when you folks who run fraps share your footage with us. I get to learn more about each type of profession from the POV of someone who usually can play the heck out of it. I have a few alts and many times I find myself either uninspired playing a new char (especially at lower levels), or stumped as to what skills are good openers/finishers etc. Also to see the effectiveness of a weapon set I haven’t tried as yet.

For instance, watching in dragons video how he would cycle through his F1-F4 CD’s along with really useful re-hotkeying of those abilities.
Btw. how do you get those timers on your abilities with CD’s on them? I didn’t think there were any addon’s for GW2? ( Of course I haven’t really looked too far into this.)

I appreciate those that take the time and trouble to record these videos. They are a great teaching tool along with being great fun to watch. When I can’t get my WvW fix that day due to work, errands and life in general, I can always watch one of these to put that little glint in my eye. After watching one I always imagine I’m “pew pewing” all the folks at the store, gas station.. library.. you get the idea LOL Though I do try and refrain from actually making the sounds… folks look at you funny. 0_o

So today, FA received news of transfers to our server.

In celebration of our new allies, we decided to take it to CD BL. We didn’t have a chance of pushing to take first this week with the reset tomorrow, but we wanted to send a very CLEAR message to CD.

Next week you’re in trouble.
FA is on the warpath.

Edit: PS. Your borderland is not a result of the transfers. Every keep fell in CD BL tonight. HOPE, RET and GODS wanted to show our new oceanic partners what their new NA presence can do.

Just out of curiosity, before you took Askalion Hills on CD BL earlier, you had a failed attempt where you broke down the wall with a few catapults, then you got pushed back and you all backed into a corner of the keep wall.

May I ask why you all stacked up there? We aren’t really sure if you were trying for a portal bomb, or trying to turtle in the corner and use the 5-target aoe cap to your advantage…?

Was trying to use the 5 target aoe cap to my advantage and hope you guys would come around that corner so we could fear/ push you off the cliff , while then try to get our mesmers to time the invis and rush into your group after they saw you get pushed off…. sadly this did not happen and you guys were cautious. Thus i resorted to just pull back slowly while holding the line and minimize casualties.

I hear you bud, keep up the excellent work (even though you are a low level) and just keep an open mind about tactics on the battle field (there are always things to learn). Never get yourself to focused on one idea, remember there are always alternatives to your method of attack. I think one day when you get your commander you will do well.

Thanks bud, I can only speak for myself. But I think a lot of the commanders especially the ones who you have mentioned (which are very good). Are just getting tired of matches like the one we currently are in and trying to command people who don’t want to listen, be self aware, and much rather be sheep or lemmings.

I personally had lots of fun on EB today, and taking back our (DH) BL back about 2 or 3 times. Although DH may not win second or first this week, you can be sure that a couple of us will keep going out there and giving it our all to make some really amazing battles.
Look forward to see you all again tomorrow for another 7+ hour wvw spree.

I’ve been reading through this thread since Friday, and it really saddens me to see all the flaming, the anger, and the resentment that’s built up. A few nights ago I was talking to my guild leads about how Darkhaven and Dragonbrand would make a perfect 24/7 coverage WvW server. And I still think if we joined in one server, DH’s NA and DB’s Asian/Oceanic would make a great server.

Please try to treat each other with respect. We can be enemies, and fight each other, but it’s still a game, and it’s still respectful to show sportsmanship.

I’m on DB and I was just thinking the same thing today.

I also agree, i had a blast on EB tonight though!! So much fun fighting that one db [NKK] commander with the twilitight who kept attacking our trebs and holding out in Veloka from nsp with walls and gate down for about an hour, probably the best in tower fight ever, really felt like a crazy war zone.

Well, this weeks match is almost done! Although it was a blow out and not that much fun for either side, good job and great fight to all server. I had some ver fun and long stand offs against FA, keep up the good work! Hopefully you guys make it into the teir 1-2 brackets, you guys played well and much respect for your server and the big top guilds in there.

HoD the few times I toke GoF to your borderlands and tried to take your NW towers you guys fought back and gave it your all and are still even towards the end giving it your all, very well played. I believe eventually your server will again be seen up in the high teir brackets, never give up. I wish you the best of luck.

To my wonderful darkhaven brothers, it has been an honor and a privileg to work with you and lead some of you into battle, some good times were most deffinetly had. Big shout out to WE, RE, HVN, SE, ABC, Zeit, and any other guilds and or persons that fought for darkhaven and never gave up no matter what odds faced them! I have alot of faith in our server and with every wvw match we learn and get better.

We had some very good teamwork and communication today! Excellent work done by both guilds, I love when guilds come together and work towards helping each other in WvW.
