I really don’t see why you guys at Anet are overthinking this that much. Just give the people more options for their Custom Arenas (Disable Nodes for Deathmatch, an Orb to carry around for ctf, etc.) and let them see what self-made modes are the most fun. Those ones that are good could be adepted as official modes.
I see over 300 Posts here. Those ideas aren’t new, they have been communicated again and again and again. Its been over one year since the launch of the game.
Stop discussing, start doing.

nope, you’ll still get stealthed and the ae burning will trigger while you are stealthed because its got a small delay on it.

Afaik, Balth 6/6 only triggers on pressing 6. I’m not clear on how you’re using it. Precasting what?

Oh sorry. Precast the heal. Since Hide in Shadows and Signet of Malice have a cast-time you can press 6 and then use Steal to teleport to your target. The Healcast will finish when you arrive and trigger the rune for the ae-burning.

You do the Heartseeker through the Black Powder for the leap combo so your stealth lasts longer. You don’t HS your enemy 3 times in a row with it while staying stealthed.

Thief Condi Builds are fun to play but I haven’t found a viable one for tPvP as of yet. You give up too many Thief advantages and you are just not as good as a condition bomb than lets say a necro. Although playing around with balthasar runes and apply burning when you are just not meant to do that is fun as hell.

Engi was/is/will be my least fav caused by all the CC they got and our lack of stability.
Lately I got killed by a couple of Terror and Power Nekros which I never experienced before. Don’t know what happened there but I’ll keep it under investigation.
But lately I enjoy pretty much all the fights in spvp.
And I never run the other way

Bug fix. And a good one. Using Infiltrator Strike mainly as a CC and in combination with shadow return to jump in and out of a fight just suits well. At least in sPvP. Not being able to use shadow return while being inced by an enemy because one can be ported to whereever the hell it was you last used it was just annoying.

How nice I just got back playing a Necro too I am not sure if there were many changes on the necro recently but I used to play condition Necro with wells. Is there still a vaible tPvP build for that?

Weird but ok, than its a graphical issue since I am displayed as “out of Stealth”.

So. I use Shadow Refugee, the node is clear to cap, no enemies left. I switch to shortbow and do a little Infiltrator Arrow to get out of stealth. The only problem is that i can’t capture the node. It seems that the game still thinks I’m invisible which is pretty irritating considering that it takes a lot of wating time till the game gets it that I am not stealthed anymore due to SR. Happens bascially all the time and makes no sense to me since I am obvioulsy visible to everyone.

Haste needed to be nerfed. It is outrageous that it took them so long.
But to not nerf the Ele in any way just shows how utterly useless the Devs are. Nerfing burst left and right while leaving Bunkers as they are, not to mention that Eles are the most OP class that ever made it into a MMO is just insane and stupid in every way.
So now its either PvE or getting a new game. Anet should shake hands with Mythic, incompetent when it comes to balance sa well.

Positive. Everytime that little “stealth” sign shows up you get Initiative back. Doesn’t matter if its via using a skill that stealths or you enter stealth. For the game its the same.

edit: on a second thought smoke screen has the problem it needs initiative to achieve the goal… i think shadow trap is better

Thats why I mentioned “Infusion of Shadow” which gives you 2 Initiative back everytime you use heartseeker or cluster bomb with a smoke field. So yes it needs initiative but you get some back. Pretty fair I’d say. You could use “Patience” to regain initiative even faster but I won’t recommend that.

Blinding Powder + Melt in Shadows should do the trick plus its instant.
Otherwise use D/P Black Powder + Heartseeker-Combo with Infusion of Shadow.
Depends on the situation.
And yes, SR is getting trickier nowadays, mainly cause people look out for our little tent. Suddenly, its not op anymore

edit: I almost forgot, if your up to it: Black Powder (or any other smoke-field) → Combo with Cluster Bomb (Shortbow). works good as well.
