Hats off to both GOM and SF and their “No quit attitude” Thank you guys for great fights all the way through this week. I cant say enough about you guys but I know there are a lot of us that appreciate the effort that was put forward, when most servers would have just QQuit. Thanks again!

As a Yaks bend player. I would like to give a shout out to Darkhaven, You guys have made a great push the past two days WELL DONE!
Or the other bad side of the coin. The low pop server = Everyone that wants to play WvW can. The high pop server = most people that wanna play WvW can’t.
we get gold from events? The only gold I get is the Icons color, other than that I get about 2s.

What level are you? whats your gear? Without screenshots of your all mighty single drop that covers all your costs. I believe I will write all your coments off as lies! My drops consist of a badge maybe 2 and usually some vendor trash for a 56c maybe 1s, each death repair is between 6-10s.

If you change anything related to the downed state, be it ress time, HP’s, whatever, you need to remove the repair costs!
You get rewarded for killing the yaks and stopping supply. You should get rewarded for ensuring supply gets to it needed location. Even if you dont give a reward for killing the Yaks they still need to kill them to stop our supply. There must be a reward for the escort, give us badges and karma atleast!
I can farm a gold or more easily in PVE, should I have to just to play a round of WvW? Those of you claiming profit in WvW, have you spent 12 hours upgrading a keep to full, merely running supply back and forth and escorting yaks. Doubt it! Do you play as a support class that get the minimum amount of loot? Do you have a full exotic set of gear at level 80? I played as a healing Ele, each death costs me around 10s and I would get about 2 silver in loot. Thats not counting siege and upgrades to keeps. No big deal I just spent 1-2 hours farming in Orr, but there are those that just wanna hop on and do some WvW.
Repairing costs in PVP is garbage, there are enough $ sinks in WvW. Do you have to repair in the 5v5 pvp?
What feels worse though? Losing the maps once in a week span? or losing the maps every single day for that week?
Honestly if you make a huge reward for the map clear they are just going to keep stomping on your throat every time it resets. There has to be a better way.
@Daedalus.3954 – The sad part about Anet squashing the Doylak rewards is they didnt sqaush both sides of the coin. You get reward for stopping the Doylak from making it to the keep in two way 1 – Exp, and karma. 2- cutting off supply. The Doylak Rewards need to be brought back the Doylak is vital to supply for keep upgrades we all know this, there MUST be a reward for those of us who put our lives on the line to make sure the Yak gets the needed supplies to keep so we can keep the upgrades flowing!! Anet needs to correct this and bring it back Possibly adding in badges as a rewards for this as well, its VITAL!!
Quick Question,
Instead of making it so that the dominating force can close out the map by taking the entire thing. What if when your pushed back to your last point on the map, that point now has unlimited supply allowing players to place siege at near by supply camps to be able hold them and/or allowing them to siege the nearest keep and get a better foothold in the map? Once a team recovers from the dominated status the infinate supply buff would go away? It would allow players to atleast attempt to get out of the dominated position/ force them to. Right now all we want is the ability to rollover and play dead once we have been beaten.
Cause here is something you might have over looked. “Okay everyone, we 99% of the map, DO NOT take that last point. Let them suffer” You know there are some out there that will do this.
- Zerg v Zerg. Curently, WvWvW should be renamed ZvZvZ. This game rewards the side with the most numbers, not more skill or better tactics. Sure, an organized, better-geared team with more siege weapons and voice communication will usually win against a team with larger numbers that lacks in other departments. However, more often than not, the larger-sized zerg will win the fight simply due to the downed mechanic. Downed state should not exist in WvW. It encourages the zerg menality where people can be careless, die over and over, as long as they have 10 people nearby to insta-rez them.
- Low levels should not be in WvW. It was fine to allow sub-level 30 players to tryout and XP in WvW the first few weeks of release. But now, they’re just cannon fodder taking up space of level 80 players with good gear. It may sound a bit elitist, but it’s true. They make the already terrible queue times even more unbearable and ridiculous. Personally, I wouldn’t allow players under level 70 to queue for WvW, but I’d be fine if ANet disallow players under level 30 to queue for WvW.
These two points make me wanna cry, both are so untrue that its painfull to read them.
I personally held off 30-35 players SOLO on one well defended keep running from a Cat, to arrow carts, to balista. They even attempted to set up a balista and cat while there and I repelled them. They managed to get a ram up and get the door to 50%. The keep had plenty of siege ready and was full of supply. Took about 10 minutes for back up to arrive by then all they did was clean up the trash.
It is not the Low level players taking up space, its the people out there grinding for Exp and crafting mats on trash mobs, and running gathering loops. Honestly we should get away from this mentality now. Lets stop making the lowies feel bad about joining us now, so that they will still wanna join us when are 80! Find a new gripe cause these are terrible.
Make WvW autoloot. And also add in Defense bonus badges. Example – Some who stands around building siege on towers and keeps after they are taken, or a group of 5 that stand around defending a supply camp to ensure we have a steady stream of supply. Give these players 2-3 even 5 badges every 5-10 minutes spent at a keep or supply camp defending it. Give badges for Supply escorts! It will reward those who don’t Zerg but actually try to keep what we take. We had a few guild members who did nothing but defend a northern supply camp and ORB for about 2 hours and what did they get for it? Respect and nothing more.
People will say yeah but people will exploit this. Stop spending all our time defeating the exploiters and start spending our time adding in things to improve our experience
