Rank points bug?

in PvP

Posted by: Invision.1307

Invision.1307

This is a UI bug. You only get 5 rank points per top-stat, but each UI alert is showing your total rank point gain from top-stats. This would have started happening after we made rewards time-based. We’ll work on getting this fixed. Thanks for the report!

What about the fact that the Rank Points you get doesn’t add up for the Rank Point Ttitles? Gladiator, Mercenary, Avenger, Ransacker, Marauder, Ravager etc.. People who’s done tPvP has been leveling without getting these titles. Hotjoiners are R35 with Ransacker, tPvPers are R50 with 5/10 Ransacker.. Shouldn’t be like this.

Saying no rewards anymore is hyperbole. That suggests we are not adding a system to replace the old one, which is not true.

And yes, per Colin’s blog post, we’ve now released that the Feature build will be on April 15!

One last thing that really bugs me, and probably 90% of the PvP society as well, is that when we recieved Win Reward Chest from tPvP, we got the specific amount of Rank Points. How ever, these did not add to your Rank Point Titles (Gladiator, Mercenary, Avenger, Ransacker, Marauder, Ravager etc.). It’s been a known bug, for months, but no fixes has been made. And with the new update where we get Rank Points at the end of the game, we could not wish for more than that you had fixed this known bug, and finally let us advance in those Titles without being stuck in HotJoin.
Unfortunately, that has not been fixed, yet, and I’m afraid it might not even come in the feature patch. Do you have any answers to this?

I’ll try again. Do you have any answers for this?

You’re still getting gold. And what’s so wrong about waiting 4 weeks?

A normal PvE player can obtain ~20g+ an hour, without having to grind it (Daily Dungeons, Fractals, World Events etc).

Yes, PvP needs a massive rework, but to say that PvE players can make 20g+ in 1 hour of play in ANY possible way (unless they get a VERY nice exotic drop) is a flat-out lie. A NORMAL player can make maybe a good 3-4g/hour.
Please inform yourself before spreading rumors.

I did not say “ANY possible way”. There was a reason why I used “Daily Dungeons, Fractals and World Events” as example. Doing the fastest Daily Dungeons (paths), you’ll net around 1-3g pr path. Doing Fractals, you’ll also get your daily reward, + chests and random loot. This is very often rare loot, and sometimes exotic. That means tons of ectos pr hour.

You don’t have to go full Ascended, playing 6000+ hours to get 20g+ an hour, sir.
And what are you on about when saying normal players net around 3-4g per hour? That’s like killing a specific mob over and over to get T6 materials..

Sorry sir, this was not a rumor.

You obviously didn’t read the OPs comment. He said he didn’t know when the release was to be expected. Also, 15s for a win in Solo Q / Hot Join isn’t really appealing. A normal PvE player can obtain ~20g+ an hour, without having to grind it (Daily Dungeons, Fractals, World Events etc).

@ANet,
Without Glory, we will not be able to purchase crafting materials for crafting PvP Items to fill up our PvP Locker. PvP Locker / PvP Gear has been one of the few ways to show-off in PvP, especially before the Glory Rewards Vendor was brought to the game.
Back then you could easily spot out a Rank 50 or 60 player.. etc.

Before the Glory Removal, people could save up Glory and Gold and buy Rank 80 Armor. Which they also could salvage for Shark, Phoenix and Dragon Tokens. Really? Dragon Tokens? What if someone had grinded Dragon, finally. Then he couldn’t feel as special as he actually was, because others could simply just save up some Glory + Gold.

Something more that bugs me about the crafting materials, is that I have tons of them in my PvP Locker, but there’s always one out of four pieces that I am missing for the specific item I want to craft/forge.
And I know we’re expecting a huge “feature” patch in some few weeks now, but instead of making a temporarily patch weeks earlier, where we lost all remaining rewards (except for Rank Points), why not wait with that, or implement another temporarily reward? Perhaps increase the Gold granted per win/loss as it’s becoming more of a PvE friendly zone of the game. Or maybe keep the Rank Points bonus until the feature patch arrived.

One last thing that really bugs me, and probably 90% of the PvP society as well, is that when we recieved Win Reward Chest from tPvP, we got the specific amount of Rank Points. I’m a bit dissapointed, which I am supposing you will be able to notice while reading, but I’m not giving up the hope. You have still created THE BEST PvP combat system/mechanics I’ve seen so far, which is the reason why I’m still enjoying most of my hours in the game. Thanks for reading.

If you’re signing up for Solo Queue, it’s recommended being able to play multiple professions. This because you’re likely to get matched up with terrible team-compositions, such as the triple thieves. Well, if two of them were able to switch professions to let’s say a warrior and guardian, the match-up wouldn’t be a problem anymore. How ever, people give up on other professions after a few deaths, because they weren’t able to master it in one or two games..

Really tho, not only does it benefit the match-up composition in Solo Queue, but it also improves your understanding of the opponents profession (skills, traits, pros, cons etc.).

I’m also looking for a team, once again, Zoose. Used to watch your Twitch-stream before you had a major-break from GW2. Also been watching a bit lately, and can tell for sure you’re a decent player, with good knownledge of the game-mechanics etc.

If you’re still looking for a team, or have an incompleted team, I’d like to offer my self here.
My nickname is Invision, I’m from Norway (speak English quite well). 18 years old, work at a gas-processing-plant, working different schedules (morning, afternoon, night) with a lot of spare-time (every third week for example, I have 7-9 days free, payed hehe).

I am playing as a Thief, mainly D/P. Got 800+ hours using D/P build while around 200+ using S/P. Used to be around ladder-rank 125-200 when I had teams, ankitten ow trying to climb back up (around 500-ish atm).

Don’t hesitate sending me a in-game message through whisper or mail, it’s appreciated.
(13-days since there was posted something here, which makes me unsure whether you got a team yet, or not.)

I used to be ranked 125-200 in ladder when I was in previous teams. We didn’t play too competetively, but I got quite a bit of experience while playing with them.

Now I’m back from a little break after the last team disbanded.
I’m a main Thief, and have always tried to play Thief “only” to perfect my skill in that class, instead of being some-what-good in all classes.
You say you don’t care whether I use D/P or Pistol Whip. This is something I really appreciate, as many teams are looking for Pistol Whip thieves, while I’m more of a D/P player. Of course, I know how to play both, but got 800+ hours using D/P while only around 200+ with Pistol Whip builds..

I’m Norwegian, but speak English quite well. I do of course understand minor German, but don’t expect me to understand many sentences really :p.

If you’re interested in testing me out/giving me a chance, hit me up in-game: Invision.1307.

Thief- main. Working on becoming a bunker guardian as well.
R40, hosting a tPvP Community Guild with 40+ members, R40-65+, got experience from playing with decent players/teams.
Norwegian, able to speak English quite good, both in chat and using a microphone.
Don’t bother taking criticism, and especially interested in learning things I’m unaware of etc.

How ever, I’d like to ask you a question about the team and it’s skill-level.
I can’t assure you that I will read this topic again, so please keep it in-game whisper/mail.
Anyway, you say that we don’t need a specific rank etc., but do you care about ladder-ranking and win-lose ratio? Also, how are the current members doing in ladder?

I’m asking coz I’m looking for a decent team to start winning with quite early, not having to grind for weeks to become just decent.

How ever, took a small break coz the team disbanded. Now I’m back to find a new team to regain my position. I’m mainly a Thief, but practicing other classes, where I’m planning on becoming good with a Bunker-Guardian. Of course, there’s probably tons of Guardians that are better and should be more considered than me, but if you need a decent Thief, don’t hesitate sending me a whisper/mail in-game.

I’m usually playing d/p – sb (25-30-0-0-15), but am also able to play the current meta build, which is the s/p (10-30-0-0-30).

About ZeuS, I have my own tPvP Community Guild with 40+ members, from R40-65+. If it would be okay, I could represent ZeuS while playing with the Team, how ever, I’d like to represent “Heart Of The [MIST]” while pugging etc.

Hello,
let me introduce you to “Heart Of The [MIST]”.
[MIST] is a rather new guild, focusing on the PvP aspect of GW2, or to be more specific; Team Arena / Solo Queue.
When you’re signing up for Team Arena, you’d often want to have a pre-made group of decent players before hitting that “queue” button. This is because it can become rather tedious when you’re matched up with low-ranks / bad players when meeting high ranked teams. This often results in you doing Solo Queue instead of Team Arena.

That’s why we’re here to help you!
Heart Of The [MIST] offers tons of decent guild mates, playing all kinds of professions!
You’ll almost always have a group to queue up with, that will make you win most of the games.

Winning =

  • 1300+ Ranking Points
  • Lots of Glory
  • Win Reward Chest
  • Leaderboard Rankings

The guild offers:

  • TeamSpeak channel with multiple sub-channels
  • 40+ guild-mates, ranked from 40->60+
  • Players in all professions
  • Practice rooms
  • Guild Ranks = PvP Rank (Tiger->Dragon)
  • Wins

We know people play both PvE and PvP, which is why we’re not requesting you to represent the guild, but we’d appreciate it if you could represent the guild during your PvP sessions (For easier group-finding).
Other than that, there’s not many requirements. People might prefer if you have a microphone for communication while playing. If you have a microphone, but English is not your mother-language, do not be afraid of trying your best. I know from personal experience that it can tend to be hard to communicate fluently through English, but with some practice it will become easier. The heck, might even result in better grades at school etc.

Thank you for reading. Hopefully you’ll be interested!
If you’re wondering about anything related to the guild, please reply or send me an in-game mail/whisper: Invision.1307

Funny, I asked some of the top Thief players in NA, and they all love the high evasion builds. They dominate most players in tPvP when used effectively.

NA.. Of course you can use S/D in tpvp, but it doesn’t bring anything else than boon-steal to the team, and it’s survivability is very limited in a team fight, however, in a 1v1 or 2v2 it’s survivability is very good.

Man, I don’t think you play high level tournaments. The Thieves I see, easily bunker, easily tank, and actually out-perform and survive my Lich form.

Also, a Thief can infact have vigor up constantly. Look closely over the traits that Thief has… I won’t tell you which ones… think of it as a challenge. There is a reason why there are Caltrop builds with Thieves have near-infinite dodging.

Having an STAFF Elementalist in your team is incredibly situational and unlikely.

Thieves Guild, which is one of the primary sources of damage for non-heartseeker monkey builds.

Thieves guild is used often in tournaments… it’s incredibly strong in P/D builds… do you know anything other than D/D? Because I’m really questioning the legitimacy of your points here.

I know absolutely all the builds for a thief, and of course I know they can have vigor up and running 90% of the time (100% if you steal vigor boons with s/d), but almost none of them are viable for tpvp (high ranked tpvp). Ask the top players (thiefs) EU and they will tell you that the only really good build is d/p burst. 25/30/0/0/15.

You seem to be under the impression that Thieves have to sacrifice damage for survivability when they have Blinds and Stealth for the highest damage mitigation in the game. You should probably learn Thief, bro. It’s really good.

You also seem to be under the impression that Thieves are easy to kill…

They don’t have blind unless they spec that in trait. Blind reduces damage, that is a fact. Go check the trait lines.. There’s a cooldown before you can stealth again, so in that time, it’s not hard to kill a thief, unless he escapes. Also, he can’t just stealth and stealth and stealth, because that costs initiative, and he doesn’t have enough initiative regeneration, unless he’s using another build (not burst build).

Try attacking a necro-minion when downed. They don’t just stand there..
You say that rooting especially hurts thieves. Are you talking about thieves or thieves giuld? Thieves are the ones that can escape it fastest using their shortbow. If you meant thieves guild, I don’t understand why you mentioned that, because who uses thieves guild in tournaments?

You gotta realize that a glass thief can’t tank. Only way for him to survive and actually hold the point is to kill the enemy before he dies or have to escape. In order to deal with great damage, they have to dodge or blind. Most glass thieves don’t use blind in the trait or utility skills, which means that is off the table. They also do not have vigor constantly, to bring up the endurance to dodge. Therefore, it’s squishy and not easy to bunker if you’re a glass thief. And you must have skipped the part where the previous poster said glass cannon, not just thieves in general..

A) Thieves are the strongest attrition class in the game.

B) Have everyone’s Pets and Minions immediately killed doesn’t change a team fight?… This discredits everything you’ve said.

C) A Necromancer cannot leave his pets to kill you while fighting another player. Pets will generally always attack the target the Necro has selected since AI was changed. This discredits everything you’ve said x2

D) I don’t need to try

E) I play tournaments all the time, with premades and solo joins. On all classes.

How does it immediately kill every pet and minions?
If a downed player attacks a minion, they will start attacking you, or if you’re simply attacking the minion because he’s attacking you, before the necromancer switches target, he will keep attacking you.
Can you during the next days (today preferably) record a match where you use root in a team fight, so I can see how freaking awesome it is? How no one can ever escape it in less than 3 sec without using stun break, and how all minions and pets die immediately.
Alright, thanks for answering my question about you playing tournaments.

All classes have their downsides, and all have their upsides. The game is very balanced, and there is no class that simply beats the other one. It’s all about how you set up your build, and how you “counter” built your build from the opponent’s.

I’m done with people QQing and telling me that THIS is OP and THIS is UP..
PvP in GW2 is all about skill, strategy and team work.. Not choosing the OP classes.

Sacrificing 2 traits from a Thief does not nerf damage to the point of being ineffective. Berserker’s gear will make up for it, and you’ll still do more damage than any other class specced for it, while still having more survivability.

Let’s say I’m running 25/30/0/0/15, which is the most glassy build, and I’ll sacrifice some traits to get “Blind on stealth” and “Remove a condition every 3 seconds in stealth”, I will have to remove 20 trait points in a trait-tree, which means I for example have to build it like 25/10/20/0/15.
This means that I’m cutting lose my grandmaster trait in critical strikes which would have given me a 100% crit chance when in stealth, or +20% when enemy is lower than 50% health..
How is this not a huge nerf to my burst?

Root is not removed immediately from an AoE. I’ve never seen Root used and people escape it without wasting skills anywhere under 3 seconds. That’s a 3 second CC, and a strong one at that. It’s an kill button for any NPCs as well. Hell, it’s a kill button for most Downed players.

When talking about this previously, I mentioned thieves and mesmers as the main classes that can escape this. Thieves only have to spend half a second to escape, even without stun breaker, which you don’t seem to understand, cause you’ve never seen a good thief in the root.
Yes, the pets and minions can easily be killed when they are rooted, but that doesn’t change the team fight..

You do not know Necromancer at all. At all. If you did you would realize that your argument is completely false. Minions cannot stray too far from the Necromancer anymore, so no, he can’t just leave them on you. Minions are far weaker than Pets. A smart Ranger can increase his pet’s life span considerably, even in group play, by utilizing the basic commands. Which a Necromancer doesn’t have.

I’m not talking about a Necromancer running to another point, I’m talking about in a team fight, where he leaves me but attacks my team mates instead, and leaves his minions there to kill me. Why are you always using Necromancers are example of how good Rangers are?

I play Ranger extremely effectively, and have none of the problems you describe, that’s a l2p problem for you. I’m done arguing with you until you actually learn the game.

Hmm. Kind of unfair statement, trying to make me look like a stupid player who never played the game. You’ve yet to tell me if you even play tournaments or not, because I’m never talking about how the builds work in hot joins..

Of course you’ll get +profit by crafting them, but it’s not guaranteed a good profit, at all. It’s really bad to be honest.

@Myrmidian Eudoros, I was thinking about a suggestion for Arena Net, when I read your post. What if they made like a quantity option in the Mystic Forge, kinda like they have in the crafting stations in PvE. The only idea I like here, is if the target on the player who’s going stealth reappears when the player is out of stealth again. Not if the target stays on him while in stealth, so you just have to swing your sword etc…

Arena Net wants thieves to have the greatest burst and mobility in the game, but in exchange, they take away a lot of their survivability. Yes they have stealth, and yes they can just escape using short bow, but that’s a part of their survivability. You can’t just stand there and burst the target while being attacked yourself.
If the thieves had to move slowly when being in stealth, they would lose all the mobility and speed for roaming, which is the main part of a thief’s job in tournaments.
I don’t give a kitten about the play style in hot join, as that is just individuals having fun or grinding glory, but in tournaments you can’t be slow when you’re a thief.

It feels like I’m talking with a lot of hot join players, probably from NA, who never played with or against any decent teams in tournaments.. Like talking to a wall.

I have to agree with Altroll on this, Thieves if made correctly really aren’t squishy… And also, it’s complete stealth, if you’re standing in a spot that you can predictably be hit that’s generally a player issue. Most people who see a stealther go into hiding they will either attack around them, or attack in a path following the direction they started hiding in. Anything beyond that would be sheer luck and not very likely.

How is this an issue. The thieves that aren’t squishy, and that are going stealth all the time, are not the thieves doing any damage. Of course, you have for example the Pistol/Dagger condition build, but the only condition is bleed.. Most classes have condition removers, perhaps not for all conditions, but for at last one at a time. It’s your fault if you didn’t bring any condition removers on your build, just like it’s the thief’s fault that he chose that exact build.

Minionmancers can be good for tanking a point at the same times as dealing lots of conditions (different types, which makes it harder to cleanse). They have multiple minions, which means it takes longer to kill than it does with just one minion. If I’m downed by a Ranger, and he leaves me with his pet, I can easily kill it, but if I’m downed by a Necromancer, and he leaves his minions on me, I can’t do kitten. So no, the Ranger’s pet isn’t much better than the Necromancer’s minions when it comes to survivability.
It’s not a bout me not knowing how to make a thief last. I barely ever die in a tournament, and I’m 100% glass cannon. I was talking about blinding on stealth (which is a trait) and cleansing every 3 seconds while in stealth (another trait). If you’re using these, you have to skip two other traits, like for example +7% crit chance from side or behind etc.. No thanks.
Root is incredibly easy to escape as long as you have a Stun Breaker, and even easier for classes such as thieves, cause they can use their #5 skill on short bow (Infiltrator’s Arrow) to just teleport out of it.
In a team fight where Root as been used, the overall AoE will kill the roots fast, and a high-ranked team always got Stun Breaks to use. And besides, if they have a thief or mesmer who’s escaped it, since it’s easy, they can protect the other teammates during this immobilize. Therefore, not SO KITTENS MASSIVE!

It seems like you’ve played the classes a lot, but never in tournaments, only hot joins.
Is this true?

You do not know anything about Ranger. Try playing Minionmancer, or Conditionmancer for 10 minutes. I dare you. I double dare you.

In this case, I bet you’re talking about a 1v1 duel with Minionmancer and Ranger? Did I ever say anything bad a bout a solo Ranger?

I stack more bleeds using a Sigil of Earth on Shortbow auto then I ever could with Scepter, in less time at that.

This is easy to cleanse (most healing spells cleanse these).

Pets do not die fast at all, I’ve been able to keep a Hawk alive in 5v5 against 2 Elementalists AND an HGH Engineer.

I’m guessing those players were really bad. Also, I bet this never happened, just an example you throw at me, but pretend to be true. Not that I’m denying it, but it seems like a stupid lie you’re throwing at me.

Invision, a Thief could Heartseeker through the bloody thing and grant AoE healing because it’s an incredibly dumb combo field, far more effective than Staff Ele’s water tree.

Let’s say there’s a team fight at Keep on FoN, and the ranger has the combo field on the point. Then a thief could go stay behind Keep (on the hill) and shoot cluster bombs (#2) on it, which he has tons of, and grant healing to all nearby allies.
P.S: I said this earlier, in last post, and stated that it was great, so I don’t understand why you point this out.

And if you still doubt Ranger’s effectiveness in group play, I have one word for you: Root.

This is very easy to escape (by dodging or killing it with AoE), which means it’s not a good immobilize. If you’re a thief, it’s even easier, as you can just use any teleport skill, not just stun-break teleport skills.

3) False. Completely, utterly, false. Thieves have some of the highest mitigation in the game. Blind and Stealth being the top tier damage reduction capabilities. Combine that with their idiotic cleansing capabilities, and they’re practically immune to all forms of condition damage outside of HGH Engineer facerollery.

Have you ever played tournaments? The thieves are almost pure damage in tournaments, to do exactly what Frellin said; burst down an enemy in team fight, escape.
You almost never encounter a thief using cleansing traits and blinding on stealth, as this reduces a lot of the burst.

I agree with the HGH Engineer. He’s the one I’m scared of (don’t want him nerfed), but couldn’t care less about the ranger. In a team fight, the pet gets killed pretty fast by the AoE, and the Ranger has to switch it back and forth (I’m not sure if you’ve played against decent teams, but this is a fact). The other condition that the Ranger applies, is often bleed, poison, vulnerability and cripple. Those can easily be cleansed, and their attacks can easily be dodged. The only skill I hate, is the AoE cripple (massive arrow spams on ground ^^). However, the AoE healing a ranger places on the ground, can be used very strategically, if you have a thief with short bow nearby. He can shoot cluster bombs on it, and it will give water heal (#5 on Elementalist). However, you don’t often see this being used.

TheMightAltroll, a Ranger is doing great solo, especially in 1v1, but what does it really bring to a team fight? Of course the Pet it doing a lot of damage, but he’s also easy to flank and trick, and in a team fight, the ranger or it’s pet is not what I’m targeting first.

Hope you understand what I mean.

It’s not updated, and doesn’t have Shark/Phoenix, but it got most recipes. Also, you may find it a bit inaccurate some places, but you’ll understand how it works.

Whenever the player went out of stealth, the target should re-appear, unless someone switched target to another player. That’s all.
Any thoughts?

Thank you. I’m not a Mesmer, but I’m freaking tired of all the complaints.
Mesmer is one of the harder class to play, and once you know how to play it well, it’s not like it’s better than others, just harder. It’s just like the others, but harder..

It’s funny if every enemy on the opposite team is using pet-builds. How often do you see a thief using Thieves Guild in a pre-made team in Tournaments. Cause it’s the pre-made team fights that are the issue, as those are organized. However, if the Mesmer stealths, and then there’s suddenly 3 clones + Mesmer, there’s most likely a team mate of yours that is able to cast an AoE attack to just 1-hit all of those clones. You just got to react fast, which comes back to skill. It’s not a problem, seriously.

Hehe. True true, however, there’s only some few of the illusions that you’ll have to dodge, and those aren’t hard to spot. Most of them barely even does damage, and it’s easy to spot the real player as his movements are different. However, in a teamfight, you often have atleast one player using AoE skills, which means that these illusions get killed pretty fast.

EU seems to be laughing at NA when it comes to skill, but I can’t confirm who’s better and who’s not. However, I’d like to see TheLastPride get into action. There’s not many teams playing like you guys do (all playing next to each other, always available, etc. etc.).
I’d really enjoy it if you guys came back, because the game will become E-Sports sooner or later! (Almost E-Sports already).

I love playing with and against (shatter)Mesmers, it’s a very tricky char in Duels and a MU you really have to practise and study.

Illusions don’t confuse me at all, ppl make it easy distinguishing themselves from the Illusions.

In bigger Teamfights, it’s another story though….

True. In a teamfight it can be hard to just blur out the illusions, as there’s so many other things going on at the same spot. However, they can’t just throw away all these abilities either.. It’s been here since start, and will be here till end.

Remove their ability to create illusions and phantasms!! /sarcasm..
Target the real player, fight that one (kite the illusions that does damage), and whenever he turns invisible, just wait for him to appear again, and re-target. It’s not hard to fight them, as long as you know what their abilites are, and it’s not frustrating.
I think the Ranger’s Pet is more frustrating than the Mesmer’s Illusions, even though I don’t really have a problem with the Ranger’s Pet (I’m not one of those who screams at ANET so they’ll nerf them).

I do not know what you’re even thinking. Only like 5 players getting Legendaries?
I agree on the new Reward System, but I’m not saying that we should farm GLORY to get Legendaries. Perhaps we need to have X amount of wins in Paid tournaments (not the current tournaments) in order to get like a token or something. Kinda like how you need to do certain things in PvE to start crafting it..
However, only 5 players getting it? Why do you even bother thinking about Legendaries then? You will never get it..

Title: anyone here is not 80 yet?
OP’s post: hey i was wondering if there are people who don’t even bother to level and play only Spvp
__
He’s asking of there’s any RANK 80s yet (sPvP), not LEVEL 80s (PvE). I know his grammar was terrible, but please read before commenting?
The highest rank in-game is currently 68 (08.05.2013). I D L CLiK is the player who’s holding that title.

This player already had 4 Legendaries within January 20th, 2013.
The game was released August 28th, 2012. That means it took the player 5 months to grind 4 Legendaries. In other words, it took him/her 1 month and 1 week per Legendary. I’m also pretty sure that he/she didn’t only grind for the Legendaries, but rather did other things to explore the game, at least the first months..

Now, the player who’s currently highest rank in the game, is I D L CLiK, who’s rank 68 (as of 08.05.2013). I’ve been talking to him, and he’s estimating that it’ll take him around 2-4 months till he’s reaching Phoenix (rank 70). Now, rank 70-80 is probably going to take more than just one year, as it’s 750K rank points per level.
Are people even talking about Rank 100? They removed that..

I don’t think they have anything special in mind for Rank 80, except for Tier 3 Cultural Armor, but before someone reaches that, they should start thinking about a way to farm Legendaries, for everyone. It should take around the same amount of time as it does in PvE, but I don’t think Glory is the way to go. Think about it like this, some of the highest ranked players may have spent all their glory on crafting Unidentified Dyes etc.. How would this effect them then? Would they have to farm all over again.. Probably not

I’d like to hear new suggestions though.
