I have the same problem. Time on my smartphone is right and the authenticator app confirms this when i try to sync the clock via the settings menu.

Auth-Codes get rejected until a few seconds before they expire on my device. I can input the Auth-Code and wait until my device shows a new one and it will still get accepted.

It looks to me like there is a clock is running out of sync on AreneNets side. Especially since the problem seem to get worse over time. A few days ago the code still got accepted while there was a lot of time left on the clock. Yesterday i had to wait until the last sliver of the clock to get the code in.

Can someone on AreneNets side please comment on this?

I can confirm this issue too. Seems like some kind of clock skew an arena nets side. I have the impression it’s getting worse over time. Today i had to wait for the code to expire to get it accepted.

Oh and syncing the clock of the authenticator app does not help. It tells me the clock on my device is already correct.

Codes for other website. I.E. amazon, google work correctly for me.

It would be nice if we could get an official statement on this.

I have been having severe sever lag in the Silverwastes since the last two patches. I even get disconnected quite frequently.

Last occurence was yesterday and the day before. Lag was so severe you nearly could not play. It even translated into the story instances Tracking the Aspect Masters and Into the Labyrinth. I had instances of lag in the story nearly 20-30 seconds long and then everything happened at once.

I think the lag got better after 23:00. I was running wurm at 21:00 which was fine. Directly after wurm i got into SW and the lag was unbearable.

Provider: 16Mb/s DSL Deutsche Telekom
Ping to Server during laggy period:
2000 packets, 0% packet loss, min 9ms, max 18 ms, average 11ms
Time: 21:30 to 23:00, seemed to get better after 23:00

Guild Wars was the only thing using my internet connection. According to my routers DSL statistics the line was fine.

I was supprised by the short pings to the server, 9ms is very fast. I think this is definitely a server side issue. My network and the path to the server seem uncongested.

I have to say the new spawn times are the most concern for me.

I’m live in the CET Timezone and the spawn times in the evening are 18:00 (karka), 19:00 (Tequalt), 20:00 (Wurm). This is the time we eat our dinner and put the kids to bed. Even prime time TV starts at 20:15 here. Which is exactly the time TxS is starting to organize events. I don’t think this is a coincidence. Someone at ANet has a very strange concept of prime time. I’m not sure who plays at this times, but surely not people with a job and family.

So if this times persist and in absence of workable guild spawns today will be the last Tequatl for me for a very long time. Which makes me very sad, because it’s my favourite activity in the game currently. And I don’t think i’m the only one with this problem.

So please keep the two hour spawn windows. They were perfect.

As for the other bosses only a few of them fall into my normal playing time. So my choice of bosses to do is greatly reduced. The old system gave me different bosses each evening. Now there is less variety and less fun Since i never had the problem of not enough people for the ‘normal’ bosses i just can’t see an upside to this new schedule.

i’m experiencing regular crashes since about three weeks i think.

I never had problems before. I have repaired and redownloaded the game. This did not help.

Crashes happen mostly in heavyly populated areas. Lions Arch , Tequatl, WvW fight, etc. This never happened to me before.

I have attached the log file. Perhaps someone can help?

The same here. SSD. Lions Arch > 30s load time. Last week it was about 10s. Pvp Lobby also loads slowly. I think all zones are affected.

I don’t rolepaly myself, but a Salma District filled with players who give it live just sounds awesome to me. I think i have to visit DR more often to look in on these things

I’m having the same problem from time to time. It’s not very often, but it’s annoying enough.

I wanted to add, since no one mentioned this before, that i think the bug is not realy that you can’t klick. The game actually no longer realizes that the mouse is hovering over an object in the world. Normally object/NPCs the mouse hovers over are painted with an border. This no longer is the case for me when i encounter this bug.

Hi, i’m looking for a guild to do Guild Missions, Dungeons and a bit WvWVW.

Since i’m already in a small guild with close friends i would prefer a guild that does not require me to represent all the times. Of course i will represent while i’m playing with guild members.

I’m mostly playing late in the evening after 21:00.

Oh i forgot that you can earn laurels since January 28th. So i could have earned 9 laurels by now.

I’ll chalk the 7→9 discrepancy up to my imagination. So most likely there is nothing to see here. Please close the thread

I noticed that i have too many laurels.

As far as i understand the only way to earn them is doing dailys and monthlys. So far this month i have done 5 dailys. The monthly tracker is at about 40%.

So i should have earned 5 laurels. But my inventory says i have 9 laurels.

Yesterday it said 7 laurels. After my play session and earning the daily it said 9. I’m sure the daily screen said it only awarded one.

Is there something i am missing? Is the monthly awarding laurels piece by piece? Is there another way of earning laurels i am not aware of?

I’m not going to spend them for now. But i’m concerned that spending them would be seen as exploiting a bug.

I’m getting the same error message. I’m trying to log in for 10 Minutes now.

You guys realize, that the ascended items that get added are rings and backpieces?

Backpieces are currently nearly non existent in game and to get a few that are worthwhile would be nice.

I don’t think they will ever add full ascended armors without slots for runes. This would completely invalidate all the runes out there. Have a little faith.

You don’t have to go through account recovery to remove the authenticator. Just got to My Account -> Security and klick the button.

Same for me. Games crashes immediately after inputting authenticator code.

Would it be possible to implement a setting for the profanity filter in the forums?
The main game allows you to disable the profanity filter. I really would like this option in the forum too.

Since every listed word gets replaced by kittens some posts are really hard to read. Especially when only parts of a word are replaced. As i’m not easily offended i would like to read the original text and not some version shredded by kittens

I realize that this would not be a hight priority, but it would be nice to have.

As a native German speaker i must add that i find the use of ‘Liebsche’ just bizarre.
Why would you use a word which looks to most germans like some mispelling of another word.

Not to mention that Liebsche looked to me like a mispelling of Liebste. Wich is clearly female. Replacing swear words with an female endearment struck me as somewhat tasteless. Mispelled or not.

Why not use something like kitten in german. Häschen could be appropriate.

Oh and by the way, could you add a way to disable this filter if i’m logged in? I find word filters annoying because they often twist the meaning of sentences.
