Just watched a vid of someone cracking 1500 fine armor, got around one item for every two.

Maybe for blue(fine) armor you get 0 or 1 Essence of Luck, but with greens, I’m pretty sure you get more (usually), the average is bigger than 1.

If it was transmuted more than once, then you will get the original weapon for the skin ( the legendary) and the last weapon you transmuted the skin with ( the exotic with the stats ).

I don’t remember if it dropped, or they appeared in my bag. I wasn’t paying that much attention, because there were lots of loot. But after one invasion I had all three in my bag. Do you have completed the Portal Invasion Closer achivement? these only drop after you complete that.

Same here. I redeemed a jade quarterstaff 2 days ago, before the event, and I cannot sell it…

Just a minor correction, the detail got lost on the way from the original post it seems: 42k karma isn’t the cost of the armor set, it’s the cost of one piece of armor.

+ don’t buy expensive armor and weapon until you are lvl80 and can use lvl80 stuff. It’s a waste of money. Buy greens, maybe cheap yellow on your level.

In open PvE I really like Axe/Axe. It has a lot of damage. Hammer, sword and GS seems slower for me.

Well if they can hit you with AoEs, you can hit them back with the same skills.

No you can’t. They can throw all their aoe downwards, and you’ll have to run into it all before you can reach an angle where you can target them at all. The problem is that you can’t see them, but they can see you. You also have to platform up all these winding stairs while being hit by aoe, and while zergs charge down the stairs occasionally, before you can even get in range to hit them.

It is hard enough to make all the jumps while being hit and being on fire, and getting feared. How do you fight back as well, while the enemy has the high ground? There is literally no way you’ll get up that well if there is a mob there dedicated to keep you down there.

There needs to be an alternative way to attack these folks.

just because you don’t know how to attack them doesn’t mean they can’t be attacked.

Vaettir farming in Jaga Moraine in hard mode was a bit boring, but got me the survivor relatively fast. There are good builds on the net for that one.

But in EVE you can actually lose what you crafted: can be stolen, destroyed… here everything is permanent (OK. excluding foods )

May be a bug, but I got the solo instances reward twice: yesterday, and a day before yesterday.
