Don’t get between a girl and her siege weaponry. <3

I LOVE the Skritt NPC vendor idea!
(Just don’t make it that poor, stuttering skritt from the Golden City, Tarir. I think he already has “Shinies Overload”.)
Ugghhhh… that means 3am EST….
BUT… that means I can get in 3 hours before the rest of the family needs to be up and getting ready for school.
Yay!
I enjoy experiencing the content fully, not just rushing to the end of an instance (Except PSLs with that annoying Sylvari. >.< ). Another part of the reason I hadn’t done as many dungeons earlier on is that I have young kids at home. As they are 2 years older now and more self-sufficient, I figured this was the time to jump in.
I may try the dungeons the way you described, Iris, and perhaps give the LFG another go. I have no problem, myself, helping new players; I’ve done it lots in PvE and WvW over the last 2 years. If I ever get the point where I can shepherd someone through a dungeon, I’d do it.
Is that [NOOB] guild still teaching?
I have level 80 toons of all professions, but have only done 3 dungeons and a couple of fractals on one toon, a few times. That makes me inexperienced and not a desirable dungeon-party member in most groups’ eyes. I haven’t bothered with LFG or other parties because the kicking that happens if you haven’t got that magic ‘zerker speed-build or the experience.
I want to start running dungeons for the new-to-me content, as WvW and PvE and the occasional festival just isn’t interesting me much anymore after playing since open beta. My own guild is too small to run dungeons with.
Engi looking to run HoTW for the first time, looking for equipment/build/sigil tips and tricks.
Suggestions please?
Found lots of info on the dungeon itself, but not much on the desired build and armor stats.
Thanks!
Love the little things you can still discover in the corners of this world.
I have several level 80’s, all created before April. I decided to start a new toon, to give the new leveling system a go. The trait un-locks… A-Net, my god. No new player will have the money or stamina to suffer through this. Especially a player using free-trial time. I’ve gotten the new toon to level 32 – mostly in EoTM, karma-training, because PVE was painfully slow for someone with previous map completions. Having to complete tasks to unlock a skill or trait is frustrating. Granting bonus skill points as part of the level-up rewards was a good move to try to speed up gaining skills. But it just doesn’t make up for the fact that most of the “fun” stuff happens at higher levels and if you don’t have the traits and skills in place, it won’t be that much fun. I think players would rather dump their gold on their gear, not need to save it to buy traits. Sure – you could attempt to farm dungeons – if you can find a group to take in your un-skilled self. I hate dungeons & PvP, personally. And no one makes money in WvW. Bottom line- the old trait un-lock system worked better. Keep the challenges for the highest trait level (because we all need a challenge to keep things fresh).
Dc’ing within 5 minutes – or less- in PVE (Gendarren Fields, Hoelbrak) & WvW
Jade Quarry server
I love my engi, Pieberry Boomhat. She fast became my favorite profession to play, both PVE and WvW. She is tough, adaptive to situations, and overall, just plain cute.
And tonight the siege trolls were back at it, building multiple ballistas in a camp when the tower closest to it needed repairing; more ballistas up the path to a tower, and completely siege-capping another tower with still more. Also built trebs on top of the supply in the main keep so that players accidently refresh the troll-siege instead of grabbing supply. It’s poor sportmanship and displays a willfull intent to cause trouble. Like a four-year-old, with a squirt gun. And too much sugar.
Friend is having difficulty competing the PVP hint completion, the trebuchet portion. He hits targets/buildings in the PVP area, but the hint is still not showing as completed. Is this a bug, or is he hitting the wrong areas?
Thanks
I played GW1 for years, then stopped. I linked accounts and got 5 HoM rewards (and nice set of Heritage armor skins), but is it worth it to go back to GW1 and collect more achievements?
TBH, I’ve gotten spoiled by GW2 game style of playing, and find GW1 tedious and boring. All of my guild mates quit playing GW1 months and months ago.
Thoughts?
Halloween decoration, bought solely because it looks exactly like a Skritt dressed like a witch.

And this just now, also

And this too, just now

Same here, happening in WvW and PVE
Only a WvW player, ahhh hell -_- let’s be honest about this…….
Omg. So True! LOL!
Only a WvW player tells her children “Hot Pockets or starve, it’s reset night,” and sees them nod understandingly.
(Best. One. YET.)
Only a WvW player bribes her children with extra movies and popsicles so Mommy can take and hold that keep long enough for Daddy to get in-game to help her wipe out the incoming zerg.
Back Down. Boooo.
ima sad kitten.
Getting the same message again (10:47am EST). Jade Quarry Server.
*edited add: tried to enter WvW through the PvP lobby, but still getting that same rematching message.
(edited by Java.2130)
It’s just very…odd. They would have usually tweeted something, anything by now. But Twitter & the forums are quiet. Maybe the Dragons got them.
Unable to enter WvW; states rematches taking place. But has been giving same error message for 20+ minutes?
Ticker is still going for point accumulation and there are no notes/tweets re: WvW rematching taking place tonight.
Please review & advise? Server is Jade Quarry. Unable to enter any Borderlands, or EB.
Thanks,
What the heck just happened?! Error Code 9:11:2:614:101 I don’t even HAVE a trial account!
You can type in /age in the chat-box, in-game. That will tell you how old your character is, and how many hours you have played that character, as well as all other characters on your account.
Both Canach and the Largos are also still bugged on Eredon’s Terrace;
Canach has disappeared, and the Largos stays green
- Skill Point
– Diessa Plateau
-Defeat Roj the Rowdy Butcher – NPC does not appear.
– Eredon Terrace.
