I am just wondering whether ANet will ever reduce the character slot expansion as a promotion.

My 5th character is almost 80 and the others are already decently equipped. I would like to try the other 3 professions, but 800 gems for 1 extra is a bit steep. Besides there has been no promotion for some time now.

Just tried to summon the Phantasmal Disenchanter on a target dummy in Lions Arch. It does summon but at range of 400. Any further out and it says Out of Range.

Its a 900 range spell, please fix this.

Overall it was alright for me. Could not attend Saturday, did not get any precursor, but had my chance to loot the chest and very happy with the free 20 slot bag and accessory.

Event ideas and rewards:

- Kinky outfits in the gem store (both town outfits and armor skins)
- Icicle weapons with white glow
- Candy Treats
- Christmas Orientated Food Recipes
- Reindeer, Elven and Santa on Sleigh Mini Pets
- Jumping Puzzles in snowy environment dodging snowballs etc
- Sleigh Racing
- Mini Christmas Dungeon for all level characters
- Epic Lag Free World Boss fights with Chest of random loot
- Free 20 Slot Sacks/bags
- Free upgrade item for the Infusion Slot in Ascended Gear

I request a Christmas Event that runs for the whole of December month because people will complain they didnt get the epic chest (with chance of precursors inside) at the end of one time events due to the following:

1. they are on holiday over the xmas period
2. they failed to notice the Special Events notification on login and forums
3. the timezones makes it impossible to attend one-time events
4. the snow broke their internet connection
5. they had to attend xmas parties and were too drunk to log in
6. they were at work (yes, some work even on xmas day)

8pm GMT is a great time for one-off events for those living in EU. I live in UK and my children are already fed and in bed by that time. I feel sorry for those in other parts of the world.

Yes it is, but the problem is not EVERYONE got something even close to that value. You either got $250 or $2.

yes i understand what you are saying, but if you did not get it this time (i did not either) theres always next event and mobs in game. I know someone who got a precursor from the Broodmother in cursed shore and that does not take much people or time to kill.

Conveniences for those who need it, but not for everyone. At this moment, the legendary does no more damage than the exotic greatsword I can craft in game.

If its the skin u like, ANet should really put some nice glowing skins in the gem store, so we can have more choice. In several months, the whole game will be flooded with people holding legendary weapons. It wont be so special anymore.

**As I have just read on this forum, alot of people looted the event chest several times with different characters which is absolutely ridiculous since others could not even get on due to lag issues.

Firstly, if I did get the Dusk or any other Precursor from the chest, I would not sell it because it is so rare I would definitely use it for one of my characters. I plan to play all professions anyway.

Secondly, I do not sell gold nor do I buy gems to convert to gold in this game. So no matter your calculation, it means absolutely nothing. To this date there is nothing in this gem store that appeals to me that I cannot get in game. It is not even hard to farm gold in game and convert to gems if you really wanted something.

So what if you have 200gold in game? it makes no difference whatsoever. What you get in game stays in the game and will be spent in the game. It benefits you nothing IRL. Does it really mean that much to you to tell people “Wow, I have 200 gold in my Guild Wars 2 game account”

I did every event this weekend and I didnt get a precursor either. I was a little disappointed but hey its a random chest loot like everything else in this game.

I agree with Aleaf, people should not be getting something for not taking part in these events coz then nobody will bother attending. But they should hold the event twice, once 8pm gmt and another maybe 6pm Australian time. That way everyone will be happy and there is no excuse why you could not take part. And for those really hardcore players, that dont sleep can do it twice :P

I play a ranger myself and i don’t think the class can bring much to dungeon parties. They can’t take hits like guardians, they have less dps than warriors, elementals remove conditions and heals better, even Mesmers can do more for a pt than rangers.

The developers say they will be making changes to this class. Lets hope they do it soon.

I am wondering if anyone out there has a nice build they can share with us that works well with the new dungeon FoTM.

Although I completed level 2 with a 3 man party on my shatter focused build, I felt this build was not bringing enough to help the party overall.

Every class has their usefulness in any dungeon. I get in PUGs for every dungeon and providing people know the tactics and listen, it runs smoothly. But like alot of suggestions here, it would be beneficial to have a party based build for buffs and condition removals and not come with selfish glass cannon builds.

Precursor and legendary have same stats as any other exotics in the game, its just a skin difference.

why afk around mobs? you can logout to character select and come back to the same spot. There really is no benefit to staying afk in this game.

I see what you mean. During the quiet times when there is no overflow in Lions Arch, it is quite difficult to find a party for specific levels of FotM. People just want to keep advancing and do not participate in the lower Fractals. At least we know Fractals levels are per character, so if they play as another character, they need start at level 1 again.

Dear ANet,

please can we have labels on the bank tabs. There are many items that are soulbound to specific character and its a hassle for me to log into all 5 just to find who it belongs to.

You have labels for collectibles and mini’s, so it should be possible for us to edit labels for bank tabs. Its that or make everything account bound and not soulbound.

You are right about the precursors, but again the event times have been set at 8pm GMT for this month and last month. Just hope next month ANet can do something different coz its all been complaints about one time events and timezones on this forum.

The event was only worth attending coz of the chest loot. If there is no chest for those who have already opened it, then many wont bother doing it again. Its actually extremely boring, and the repair bill is too much for some.

How about Anet just send a random Precursor to everyone via mail 2moro?

1. you solve the problem of those who could not attend
2. those who got disconnected during the event
3. those who played on a lower level alt
4….and those who have played from day 1 who got junk from the chest

I passed the last catapult, but when it tells you to regroup with your crew they stand there and do nothing. Tried talking to them and nothing happens.
