thanks for all that nice input, will try these things over time. first of all the sigils (mbe geomancy? will try some), replace the rocket boots (by net turret? flame turret? i will see…) and the vita-to-condition-damage trait.

i will keep melandru+defensive food for the moment because i don’t have much condition remove and it’s just too great to >walk< out of roots.
and i think i need dire to tank the 50% remaining condition duration (not enough remove because i’m still failing to use the heal turret in a proper way)

it’s kity and tanky but doesnt do sooo much dmg. i mainly use the grenades.

I’m really looking forward to that map. things can only get better.
- possible getaway from the skill lags caused by… some blob servers
- chance of finding a place to fight small groups who also give a kitten for server rankings
- … and being left in peace by zergs while fighting these small groups
- mechanics to give smaller groups a chance against bigger groups (bridges) to make combat fairer also in the cases of unequal population (so ppl actually fight more and run or chase less)

the players who like zerging and chasing and sieging and getting server points and event farming hopefully will feel like staying on the many other maps which are actually designed for them.

we’ve got too many friends on your servers… i dont dare to gank anyone :-)

nope, as houndreds of servers in thousands of match ups already told you millions and millions times, i will tell u once again:

the (map wide) skill lag is caused due to “blobbing” which means that more players are fighting at the same battle than the servers can actually handle without problems. and that’s the only reason.

in all match ups we have situations where there is a queue on each bl which means that all wvw spots are used. but the skill lags we only have with you. (not even with vizunah!)

stop complaining about peolple telling you what you are causing by you stragedy, change your stragedy.

Remember that a lot of gandarans are looking for small scale, so if you like to roam around in smaller group this could be the right match up for you.

GvG doesn’t exist inside Guild Wars 2, WvW is specifically designed for servers to fights for resources. You literally cannot force GvG on everyone just because you said so. It’s not your decision to make. Trying to cap assets and PvP is what WvW is all about, if you don’t like it then take it up with Anet to add GvG to the game. You’re acting ridiculous and quite frankly like children.

Given the fact your guilds make up a massive minority to the player base who exactly do you think you are raging that people are trying to complete objectives? I’ve heard it stated that “The majority of people voted yes to it” Sorry but I wasn’t informed by Anet that there was a vote and since; like I said you are a vocal minority I believe your opinion means very little in context considering the map is to be used by all three servers.

If you want to kitten each other then go do it in SPvP and have a few teams from each guild fight it out otherwise grow up, shut up & man up.

Hopefully some Guys especially from Piken and Aurora, also from Gandara could take a look in this thread and learn something about it.

Believe me, we’d love to stop complaning.

But if we’re matched up with you and if there are skill lags and skill lags and if it’s due to you blobing – then you can be sure we’ll not stop complaining.

Well I wonder why they don’t merge servers if they are having trouble with their rating system. I think there are quite a few lower tier servers that struggle even more than Desolation. Why not simply merge them together…? Transfer the smaller server to the bigger server -> more players -> hopefully more equality in WvW.

It might get boring for other servers to hear those complains but Desolation really has the problem to get anything running besides EB+Deso BL while our enemies can rather easily keep all 4 maps busy. So bare with us, we just get a bit frustrated with those matchups…

Yay, great idea! This way all the servers would have Elona blob lag fun.

Let me make you understand my issue:

Ur blobing causes skilllags as hell and thats all we complain about.
We don’t understand how this can be fun for anyone – neither on your server.
(And btw thats why all the other Servers you meet complain about you in each single matchup).

I want to let you know that you do not face vizunah, elona or riverside in this matchup. Gandara and Millers have mostly groups sized 10-30 running arround – so firstly you miss lots of fun running such 50-60 Groups and secondly we miss that fun.

For the ones of you who play that game for “fun” and not zombie-like for server points this matchup will the best opportunity for you to have some. It would be nice for us to have fights like 15-30 vs 15-30.

still i must say i feel much more comfortable playing against drakar lake than blobadon, even on reset its possible to have fun at this matchup in small groups.

Gz, Abaddons! Go on like this and one day you will win due to bored enemies.
Not because it seems quite impossible to find fair fights against you in open field due to you running away or you outnumbering your opponent – this i got used to – but because of a lot of you are exploiting that skillag bug to block healing skills while you just wait behind your walls and use ACs.
I have absolutely no idea what kind of fun you find in playing like this. It’s just incredibly boring and sad.
