I guess people still bump things

Returning player looking for a PvE Guild as the topic states. Ideally, I’d like to raid a couple of nights a week starting at reset. I have about 7k hours of gameplay since headstart, multiple characters. I’ve beaten W1 a few times when it first came out, even got the Eternal title or w/e it’s called. Completed the first encounter of W2 and W3. Also completed the first three encounters of W4.

Currently geared characters are as follows:

Condi – Ele (working on a Condi Druid also)
Healer – Druid
Power – Ele, PS War, Daredevil.

I can gear up just about anything, just need to know in advance. Thanks.

Yeah, I checked it out as well. So in Shadow Refuge, the tooltip states 3sec/pulse and 5 pulses…which is 15sec-3sec=12sec for standing in there the whole time, however we’re getting 2sec/pulse. Traited stealth feels like 3sec/pulse when it should be at 4sec/pulse.

The sort of people who use the wall on wall at lupi for their daily runs are the type of people who would have done it anyway. Those people didn’t adapt their playstyle because that was already their playstyle.

True…but I have seen the amount of people using it go up since then as well as the LFGs requesting Guardians now for that which was something I didn’t see before.

Not everyone has adapted to the change and I’m sure there are a lot of people that don’t want to since it forces them to change their playstyle. I personally enjoy the new Lupi as it makes you be more active during the fight. However with this new Lupi, people are opting for the cheese way and just Wall-on-Wall him as I’ve seen in many videos on Youtube and streams on Twitch.

Pros want to fight Lupicus in the legit way but I don’t see the point now because I need to break my head on a freakin’ bugged boss and time my reflects, blocks, dodges and go into defensive/evasive build.

Arah tour starting soon…still looking for one more since a couple contacts are unreachable.

I’m going to be doing an Arah tour (all paths) Saturday (Sept. 20th) and Sunday (Sept. 21st) at noon Eastern time (9am Pacific). I will take any and all comers, you can be whatever class you want provided you KNOW YOUR CLASS. I’m pretty qualified to teach thieves, pretty decent with guardians/warriors/mesmers/engineers. I also have general knowledge of the rest of the classes but I will expect you to know how to adapt to a situation that is presented to you.

I expect you to have:
Full Berserker Spec
Undead Slaying potions
Life-steal Food (Candied dragon rolls are great)
DPS Food (Level 60 food is preferred)
One ranged weapon for Melandru (Will try melee if we have a Guardian)
A really good attitude (Laugh at all my stupid jokes)
Teamspeak (Just need you to be able to listen at a minimum…since me talking is quicker than typing.)

We will not be ranging Lupi at all, so be prepared for melee.

Leave the names here, and we’ll get started when we have a full party. We will start with P4 and work our way backwards. You don’t need to stay for the whole thing, so if you just need P4 for you DM title, I don’t mind if you leave after one dungeon. I’d hope I’ll have more people waiting for someone to drop. Be prepared to learn and have fun!

While it sucks that this is happening, I don’t blame you one bit. Lately, it’s just been one kick in the face after another for the dungeon community. You were always the “white knight” in the group…and I do mean that in a positive way so don’t hurt me. For you and Dan to both be leaving the forum and you leaving the game, it shows just how negative of an impact things have occurred.

Hopefully things will get better. I honestly don’t see many people staying the way things are going now.

The tour is still on for this Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, if P2 isn’t fixed by then it will have to be skipped

We took a break from our toxic routine in order to do this science experiment. What do you get when you put 2 Necros and 3 Engineers in a RP clear of a dungeon? Well let’s just say that it was a very interesting dungeon run…I mean walk. Sad part is this still went quicker than most pick up groups.

Why is it that story mode is tuned to be so much harder than explorable mode? I know there are pugs, and I know they are down-level and under-geared, but shouldn’t it be tuned slightly easier because of this?

Just because the pugs aren’t geared correctly…doesn’t mean the game needs to scale to this.

This is the most informative thing I have ever hear…ever. So what you’re saying is I can sit back and pew pew at 1200 range while I have Smokey tank the mobs? It’s pretty obvious that a nonexploit nonsafespot lupicus kill involves meleeing in phase1, meleeing in phase2 while occasionally running away to get hit by shadowstep and greenbolt thingy and of course in phase3 you dance in front of him at 300 range or so.
Another weird thing ooze does is if you use engineer traited grenades, ranger traited longbow and such from 1500range it doesn’t aggro! Is that exploit or just clever use of mechanics?

Everybody is qqing about dungeon sellers and griefers but there are many upsides.
For example imagine you get kicked so people can sell your instance, they post the lfg, you join with a friend and kick them. Then they join again and the whole thing repeats itself. That would be such an adventure you might even call it the way they reworked dungeons to be less stale!

Depends. Personally I don’t find say AC all that exciting. But, make it like Arah and I think we’d get months of fun and exploration out of it.

That’s a bad idea.

There’s a reason why you see people run AC far more than Arah. Arah takes experience and coordination and most pugs can’t handle it, whereas AC can be face rolled with pretty much any Pug that has any half decent players.

Your idea would just end up making AC a graveyard with the occasional dungeon seller.

. . . I’m not saying make AC like Arah, I’m saying make a new dungeon with the quality of something like Arah rather than the faceroll that something like AC is. The “it” in my post was in reference tot he new dungeon being discussed, sorry if that wasn’t clear.
