The disconnects i’m having always seem to be in P/S or L/W instances. I can run around Tyria for hours without any problems but as soon as i enter an instance i D/C about 10-20 minutes in. In the Cornered L/W instance i D/C in the same place every single time. So i’m thinking my problems are probably down to Anet having issues.

Hi,
Over the last couple of days my game keeps disconnecting from the server with error code 7:11:3:191:101. I have submitted a ticket and have also read similar threads on the forum and it seems to be a problem with packet loss. I ran ping plotter and will attach the results. Any help while i’m waiting for a response from support would be hugely appreciated.

Hi,
I have been playing GW2 for about 2 years now and have recently encountered some major rubber banding and lag issues. I am in England and used to play on a NA server where i would regurley play with between 250-350 ping and running on medium graphics settings. This was fine at first i would occasionally have some lag issues but generally wasn’t to bad. The last month it has got worse with constant lagging, enemys and NPC’s rubber banding all over the place which makes the game horrible to play. I have now switched to an EU server and am playing on the lowest graphics settings and getting between 40-60 FPS and between 40-50 ping unfortunately this has not improved the game play. I still get skill lag every 20-30 mins which will last for about a minute and ememy’s, NPC’s and other players rubber banding all over the screen. I am now finding it really not enjoyable to play the game.
Any help would be much appriciated

Got the same problem, i managed to download half of the patch before it froze but now i can’t connect. Think it must be a problem their end.

New GW2 account, cannot access game

I just looked at the pics you linked and it is exactly the same problem i am having, i think our accounts have not been registered yet. When you buy the game they send you an email with a link to “Register your account” which you fill in and submit. When i did this i got a message on the GW2 website the link sent me to saying “Thank you for registering” but i never recieved an email confirmation saying that. At first i thought maybe i had miss spelt my email address when i registerd the account but after seeing a few people having the same problem i think it’s more likely to be there fault. I have submitted a ticket to support about 36 hours ago but have recieved nothing apart from the automated response. I will wait until they respond and see what they say but if i was a first time buyer of this game i wouldn’t be thinking much of there support right now.

I’m with you. I bought a second account yesterday morning and so far have been unable to access it. I can’t even login to the GW2 website with so i’m posting this through my first account. I don’t know if this is a problem with them not being able to cope with the amount of people taking advantage of the sale or not but i will ask for a refund for my new account if in 24 hours i still can’t access it. I’m not going to give up on the the game completely and will carry on playing on my old account, but i certainly won’t be giving them anymore money in the future even if this means missing out on the expansion. I really hope this sort of stuff is sorted by the time the expansion comes out otherwise i’m pretty sure it’s going to be real messy for them.

No recovery email is being sent to my friend

Was he able to login to his account yesterday? If he could then i don’t know. If he couldn’t did he recieve the email about registering his account, if so did he then recieve the email with the link to download the game client.
If he downloaded the game client, logged into his account and created a character he should be able to change his password, if he hasn’t been able to do this then he can’t change his password and won’t recieve any emails from Anet when he tries to. If he is having the same problem as i am and can’t register his account because he has not recieved the confirmation email from them i’m pretty sure that his account is not registered yet and his password is correct but the account is not active. I don’t know if this is a problem on Anet’s end, being unable to cope with the amount of people purchasing the game or if it’s a fault on our end having put our email address in wrong when trying to register the game. Submit a ticket to support and hope they contact you sooner then they have contacted me, been waiting two days now for a response about a game that i have paid for but cannot play.

I’m having the same problem. After your friend bought the game he should have received a order confirmation email with a link to “Register your account” once this has been done you should recieve another email “Thank you for registering” with a link to “download the client” and then you should recieve another email asking you to “verify your email address”. At the end of all this you should be able to sign into your account. Unfortunately i never recieved the “Thank you for registering email” or the "Verify your email address one so am thinking that me account is not registered yet. A couple of possibilitys are that me and your friend spelt our email address wrong when registering the game or that so many people have been taking advantage of the sale that they are slow at sending these emails out. I have also submitted a ticket to support and think the only option is to wait to hear back from them.

Thanks for the reply. It’s been about 7 hours now and haven’t received a confirmation yet but am starting to think i may have put me email address in wrong when i registered the game. I will wait to hear from the CS Team.

Hi,

I decided to take advantage of the 75% off sale and bought a second account. I used a different email address from the original account when buying and registering the game and at the end of the registration a got a thank you for registering message on the GW2 website but so far have not received an email confirming my registration. Currently i cannot login to the game client or the GW2 website with my new account. I have submitted a ticket to support and am awaiting help from them but wanted to ask if anyone else was having similar problems possibly due to large numbers of people purchasing the game at sale price?

I agree with Moxie, it is ridiculous i’ve paid £34.99 for a broken game. At the moment my game crashes 4-5 times in an hour which makes playing the game impossible and i didn’t have any of these problems before the last LS patch. I thought at first that maybe it was only a problem on the EU servers but sounds like Moxie is on the NA servers and having the same problem. Tis bullkitten ArenaNet.

Has anyone actually had a reply to this off support. I have had this problem for the last couple of weeks now i have submitted a ticket to them explaining the problem and have been sending the error reports every time it happens. So far support have been getting me to run diagnostics on my PC testing my RAM, CPU and GPU which are all working fine and i am now seriously thinking that its either a problem with the game or there servers and they have just been messing me around because they don’t want to admit that there game doesn’t work properly.

So has anyone actually got any idea whats going on?

Has this sorted the problem for you and has it done anything to your internet connection? coz i have read that doing this could screw up your connection.

I have been reading some of the comments on the other post about this and it seems that Anet are trying to blame it on our systems, antivirus or DNS but my game was running fine until the last patch which was buggy as hell and then it stopped working and now i can’t re-install it.

I have been having problems with my game, keeps booting me to desktop saying GW2 is unable to continue running so i decided to re-install the client hoping this would sort the problem. I have been trying to install the client for two days now and i keep getting the same problem the download gets to about 10% then it freezes saying “Connection error(s) detected. Retrying…” and it never re-connects again. I have installed it in the past so i know my system can cope with it. I have searched the internet trying to solve the problem and have seen people suggesting disabling your antivirus, fiewall and windows defender which i have tried but hasn’t worked. I have also tried flushing and registering my DNS and this hasn’t worked either. I have now put in a request to support and am waiting for a reply but am unsure how long this will take.
CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE?
