Hmmm you’re right. Though I dont exactly know when they changed it up. The page said it was last modified on Oct. 11 but my guildies and I never noticed a thing until very recently (Couple of days after the wintersday patch).

While we’re on the topic of nerfing, about about we nerf Ranger pets! Having a pet means 2v1 and we cant have that. Remove the pets entirely.

The “Protect Brakkurn and Jhalles while they repair machinery to keep the legions’ supply line running” has a bug where the NPCs stay at the Machine Rig Delta and do not move. They will die countless of times and revive each other but aside from that, stay in the same place. Does this happen very often?

I can confirm this as well. For me personally, I had to log out and log back in. A friend of mine tried as well and he had to waypoint away from the map.

It’s a pain in the butt to kick people accidentally from the guild when trying to do other things such as getting into other people’s overflow/megaserver while in the same party. In my opinion it’s an unnecessary option in the party and really should be removed. Any other thoughts on this?

So Mark T-B34RC3 is glitched in P1, but I’m sure that it would be also for any path. The boss remains as an ally.

We have tried to waypoint from the beginning but it doesnt work. There isnt anything that can kill us either.

Anyone else having this same problem?

Are you on the same server as the person who activated the event? I’m in Maguuma and my leader is in JQ, so I have to guest to JQ to get commedations. Otherwise I get none if I’m in the Maguuma server

If you’re only going to look into dungeons then there probably wouldn’t be many people talking in the first place. In dungeons, I find that in good solid groups, they are people who just want the gold grind as fast as possible and move on to the next one. It’s not being anti-social it’s simply just choosing not to talk because of efficiency. I’d say find people who do talk or even find a talkative guild if you want the social experience.

Bump. I had the same problem as well yesterday. There were some major lag spikes before I disconnected. Anything else I was doing seemed to be working fine.

I’ve actually gotten a hold of using the authentication software after the hacking so in theory I should be safer. Oddly enough I didnt know this kind of system was possible but yeah it seems thats as much as I can do now. Hopefully anet can get back soon to fix the issues.

I as well have been become a victim of this as well. Like Mike, (lol I remember that movie) I dont have any viruses or keyloggers, and this is the first time this has happened as well. Changed passwords on both my personal email and game account, filed a support ticket. Is there anything else I can to do be safe?

Seems like it has been going around lately. My account has been hacked and looted as well. As stated before, I would file a support ticket, take measures such as changing your password and get an account restoration. Good luck to everyone who was victim of this.

I am very pleased about the newest update allowing you to change your traits any time as long as you’re out of combat, however I would like to point out something that might help further the efficiency.

Wouldn’t it be great to have your traits saved as a set? So that whenever you go into your trait tab, you can already have it saved and can just click to adjust all your traits to that set. I find it would be better than having to rework your traits in order to produce a different build.

What are your thoughts on this?

Its the same deal with dungeon armor/weapons. So if it was alright for dungeon items to be put in, then karma should be fine as well.

While I personally would be excited for an expansion, this is all speculation. The title of the article itself is even posing a question as to it being a possibility. You cant really say it’s confirmed unless Anet has actually confirmed it. Please change the title so people arent mislead by it.

Like penguin said engineer sounds the most interesting to you so far. Aside from feeling underpowered, it’s still very early on in the game at a low level. But as you unlock more stuff such as kits, turrets, other utilities like rocket boots and slick shoes you’ll have more fun with it I can guarantee. I thought the same way when I used elementalist as I was leveling up, but after having all my professions at level 80, elementalist is so much fun to play for me. So just keep pushing forward and see if you enjoy it more. It isn’t a race to get to max level anyway ^^

So there was a problem with my laptop earlier this week and I ended up fixing it.
Basically I previously used Windows 8, and now through circumstances, I have Windows 8.1 through a clean upgrade.

I had no problems whatsoever downloading and installing guild wars and the game ran smooth as butter.

Now I have Windows 8.1
All graphics drivers installed, windows update is up to date, windows defender is down, the works. But whenever I try to install it, it goes to 10690kb, ends and then restarts at 0kb for about 5 seconds before giving me an error report.

I just don’t see what is going wrong with my laptop and all I can think of is that it’s Windows 8.1 that’s causing it but I see on other forums that it’s running fine for them.

Is there anyone that can help me out?
