2 eles and 2 guards. My first ele is an asura, but then I decided to make a human ele to play dress up. As for my guards, first was sylvari but I didn’t really like him so I made a norn instead.

Simple math:

Scenario 1 – 4 exotics
– Chance of getting exotic back = 1 (100%)
– Chance of this exotic being a precursor = X
Actual chance of getting a precursor = 1*X = X

Scenario 2 – 4 rares
– Chance of getting exotic back = 0.2 (20%)
– Chance of this exotic being a precursor = still X
Actual chance of getting a precursor = 0.2X

So you’re certainly more likely to get a precursor when forging 4 exotics over 4 rares, but it might cost you a lot more…

Can’t remember clearly, but I think had somewhere around 3.5k hours before I received a Zap from a champ bag in CoF. That was 2 days before 2013 ended.

I did some reading up on GW1. Bloodstone Fen is within the Silverwastes (which was once known as Silverwood). Seems like a nice place to make into a dungeon.

I kinda miss that bads that would come in here with ludicrous arguments and all sorts of fallacies, if only because it was fun to watch them get shut down brutally.

I agree with it, because it’s a rush for rewards like someone already has said before.
But then, it makes people being hypocrites, because they blame Anet for lack of content meanwhile, they simply skip 3/4 of the content just to get a reward.

I understand that there may be people who do content fully etc. But it’s unnoticeable minority.

The “exploits” are a touchy thing, and really subjective, so I’ll avoid that bit.

Yes, dungeons really are just a rush for rewards now, because the content has been out for over 2 years now. It’s stale and we’re bored of it, no surprise there. That’s why we’d rather just get it over with. If I were to give you George Orwell’s Animal Farm and tell you to read it every day for 2 years, how long would it take you to simply start flipping through the book because you’re bored of it and know its contents by heart?

Don’t enter the event area before Detha leaves combat or she bugs out. You can fix it by getting her killed, but that does take a while, especially since she heals herself and has permastability (though the nearby champion can strip it).

You are arguing against a group of people whose interest is basically nearly everything you are condemning. Did you really expect a warm welcome when you kicked down our door and came in guns blazing? Did you even lurk around here for a while before deciding to write your complaint? I think not. The other regulars have tried to explain to you why we prefer this playstyle, but if you reject it this blatantly then there is nothing much we can do to convince you. The best we can hope for is that you’ll agree to disagree and stop spitting in our faces. Is that so much to ask?

I admit some of the responses were not exactly pleasant, but you are not the first one we’ve had to deal with – just a few weeks back there was this incredibly bigoted person who basically rejected all of our ideas and called us out on this very same thing. It took him two weeks to get out of this subforum, and I should note that he had a very difficult time here, and we went so far to pre-emptively ban him from the Dungeon Mentors guild.

Do you want to beat his record? Think about it carefully before you condemn us again.
