I still enjoy this game and nothing better has come along yet that interests me more.
Can we please have a way to craft superior siege in lots of 10 in addition to one at a time?
Trying to make 50 at a time takes forever and is annoying.
I went to Target to day to pick up a couple of gem cards and they are no longer selling them either it seems.
RNG in this game is demoralizing.
Super ultra rare drop items should not be part of a collection.
Ive got a character parked at Rhendak trying to get his signet. I cant use the character because it is such a pain to get in there every day to do the event. Every day Im in there with 20 other people killing that guy. I have not seen one exotic signet drop yet.
How many times will I have to run Arah or do the wizard event to get that exotic drop? 100?, 500? or will never happen?
As for precursers, it already has been demonstrated that the best way to get one is by farming gold and buying on the TP. Nevermind just getting any one to drop at all. The stars and the planets have to align perfectly along with the sun and the moon for you not only to get one, but to actually get the one you want to make.

Tried to get one from the toilet a few times but quit doing that before it amounted to much gold. Figured it was a losing battle.
First acct: Got Leaf of Kudzu from Karka event chest, wasnt interested in Kudzo so I sold it a few months later. Bought The Hunter off the TP. Still working on the T6 mats for it.
Second acct: The Hunter dropped from a Scarlet Invasion Event, made the Predator.
Bought The Legend from the TP and made Bifrost. Bought Rage from the TP, and it is on the list to do at some point.
How would you propose to make it better?
Any other match up would be worse if your server is at the bottom of the tiers.
People are not going to transfer to low tier servers, at least not enough to make a difference.
I hate to say it but currently there are only 2 potential solutions:
1) ANET merge lower tier servers and make all those server residents mad
2) People on those servers that want to play WvW transfer to servers with better WvW game play.
To be honest, with mega servers, it really doesnt matter what server you are on for PvE. There is no longer any identity in PvE because we are all one big community now.

They would emit a huge sigh of relief, pat themselves on the back and go home early because clearly nothing is wrong and everyone is happy.
I have several characters with world completion. Ive been on both a T3 server and now a T1 server and Ive gotten WvW map completion on both and yes in more than one case (character) it took me more than a month or two to do. Ive had to wait a couple of months to get 1 POI and 1 Vista. But I was patient and I did it when I got the chance.
It is NOT impossible. You just have to keep working at it and expect that it will not just be handed to you. It might take a month or more to get it all done.
No thanks…. we have enough PvE in WvW (some would say too much). We dont need more things that have nothing to do with WvW interfering with WvW. There are things called camps, towers and keeps, etc already there to be fought for.
There are plenty of world bosses in PvE for people to farm. Keep them in PvE where they belong.

It is amazing how people get all bent out of shape over a few pixels with no tangible real world importance.
My second account is one of those that has the wrong WvW placement in the achievements and I didnt get a chest yet either. All I need to know is that they are working on it and it will be resolved. I can wait.
Meanwhile, it is summer here and time to get out and get some sunshine and fresh air after the long, cold, crazy winter we just had.
Guys it is just a game and it is not important enough to get all mad about. There are more important things in life than getting some bunch of pixels that mean absolutely nothing.
Personally I would adore it if the three borderlands were each different. There wouldn’t be a random rotation of them, for each location; it’s just a simple “green borderlands is different from blue borderlands is different from red borderlands”.
I have seen a few people suggest this. The problem is that the BL maps cant all be different because it would potentially make for an unbalanced fight. Making a truely balanced map that is interesting and varied in its terrain is very difficult. Every map has different aspects to its configuration that could make it favor one side or another. Having the 3 BL maps be the same map is the only way to keep it statistically balanced. They did a pretty good job with EB, but if you really look at it, each 3rd is pretty much the same configuration with some slightly different terrain/landscaping.
It would be cool to have a 3-4 different BL maps that rotate each week (keeping the same map for all 3) just to add some variety though.

Background: FIOS has been presenting issues with GW2 for a little over a week now. After collecting a decent amount of data we feel this is going to be a DNS issue on Verizon’s side as players connections are not resolving when hitting the server while on FIOS but can usually resolve when using GoogleDNS or Host file edits.
Suggestion: We suggest that players contact FIOS for help. We have sent an e-mail to FIOS already and we have contacted Verizon but at this time we are still awaiting their responses.
This could be a case where your individual contacts help us resolve this for everyone so if you do contact and care to update this thread, that could be helpful.

This isn’t just a FIOS problem; it is a Verizon network problem. I have Verizon DSL (Not Fios) and I have had this issue for 3 days. Making a VPN and using a VPN server is the only thing that worked for me. I have never had a problem with updates until this past Tuesday.
I rarely post but this topic is something I feel VERY strongly about.
NO to open world dueling in the PvE areas ever.
pvp areas already exist
The only ways this might be implemented to allow the use of PvE gear/skills that are acceptable:
1. Special areas that allow the use of PvE gear ie: The Bane
2. A special map for PvP only that DOES NOT require map completion for 100% and has no PvE content whatsoever.
ANET PLEASE leave the regular PvE areas that currently exist AS THEY ARE.
STOP trying to drag those of us that dont want to have anything to do with PvP into PvP. It WILL NOT work and I will quit the game before I do any PvP.
I will not debate the reasons I feel this way and I wont debate the pros/cons so dont bother trying to convince me. I will never be convinced that PvP in open world is a good thing.

I could see that being a blast. Open a door only to find enemy players already inside. That certainly would add a level of danger that can’t be predicted
We have this, its called obsidian sanctum. People complained about so much that ANET increased badges drop rates in bags, and made siege drop and be sellable.
Then they made it its own instance so people wouldnt take up space in EB away from people there to fight. Now its mostly empty.
No to PvP in open world and in cities.

I don’t mind if they add it if people want it, but it should be in its own area, either instanced so that people from the same server can duel each other, or in the obsidian sanctum or both. Just like sPvP, I can then avoid it if I don’t want to participate.
I am dead against having dueling in cities and in open world, even with the ability to block requests.
I don’t want to be subjected to some troll messaging me in whisper, then say chat, then map chat and having to have every troll that wants to duel on a block list.

So they are resetting level 80 fractal to 30. So what?
It is just a number. Much ado about nothing.
They are just saying that anything over 50 now equals 30 and there are new levels with new mechanics being added.
Most people “skipped” the odd levels anyway because of the extra chest the even ones gave. Now we wont have to repeat to gain levels.
You lost nothing but a number.
Did they take fractal relics from your account? No
Did they take ascended items got? No
Did they take any gold you earned? No
Did they take any loot you found? No
Did they take anything besides a number? No
It wasnt even a number anyone but you could see.
So sorry but I just dont get the big deal with this.
Threatening to quit the game over this is just plan silly.
You had alot of fun doing those fractals and now you have new ones to enjoy.
I am looking forward to not having to level alts any more.
I had a necro that was in the 20s but guess what necros arent good for high levels so I had to level another class. Big deal, now I can play any of them I want. As far as the account bound rewards. Most days except weekends I dont have time to run more than one set of fractals a day any way and most of the time I dont want to anyway.
If they decided to make the overall level cap for characters 60 instead of 80 but you still kept all the XP, the gold, the loot etc you got along the way, but now its 60 instead of 80, would you still be this upset? My guess is that people would rejoice that its no longer so long to get to level cap than it was before, and now leveling alts is much shorter.

I was trying to guest to Anvil Rock to join a server invasion event sponsored by my home server to do the Orr temples. I accidentally hit world transfer instead of gems.
Some people on my server said it could be reversed if I put in a support request.
