Warrior utility skills share banner cool down

That has nothing to do with banners or warrior skills. I have already reported to ArenaNet twice why skills get disabled a while ago.

You put “For Great Justice” in the same under water skill slot as Banner of Discipline in the normal skill slot (i.e. #8).
If you now use Banner of Discipline the game adds a cooldown to your Banner of Discipline skill and your under water skill at the same slot (“For Great Justice” at #8).
Now you try to switch your #7 skill to “For Great Justice” and it is on cooldown.

This stupid behavior is the reason why I put the worst skills into my under water bar to prevent such cooldowns.
Healing skill and elite skill are unaffected by that because you only have 1 slot for each type of skill.

If FGS gets banned (not my opinion) reflection should get banned too.
I wouldn’t ban any skill or mechanic like fgs-4-teleports. Not even racial skills.

In my opinion if you go for full clean records ban every consumable even food and potions. Less damage multipliers result in faster times compared to less skilled teams.

Hey ANet why just not remove condition damage completely from the game and force everyone into power??? Like you said you work on a way for condition damage to trigger on buildings… Nothing happens…

For me there is a worse problem than just not knowing which recipes can be used. I as non fractal player still cannot get the best backitem for my elementalist build because only the Vicious Claw items got these stats…

There a bug in the mechanics of Aegis.
If you block with a block skill Aegis gets removed and the block skill activates.

Two examples:
When you are under the effect of Aegis and Shield of Wrath (focus #5 on guardian) you lose Aegis and 1 stack of Shield of Wrath if you are struck by anything.

When you are under the effect of Aegis and Protector’s Strike (maze #3 on guardian) you lose Aegis and activate the effects of Protector’s Strike.

Only one of the effects should take effect on a single block. And I recommend that the skill effect should trigger first because if Aegis triggers first skills like Protector’s Strike would fail pretty often.

There is a huge problem with down scaling of condition damage.
Condition damage has a hard cap when you are down scaled.
And I hit this cap in dungeons like Ascalon Explorer and honor of the waves without head, chest and leg armor pieces… So the main attribute of the biggest 3 armor parts is wasted.

Ascalonian Catacombs (explorer mode) – 464 hard cap @ lvl 35
Honor of the Waves (story mode) – 1458 hard cap @ lvl 76

Trinkets: ascended rabid/rabid stats without infusions
Back: exotic rabid/exquisite chrysocola
Armor: gloves, shoes, shoulders rabid/superior rune of the undead
Weapons: zepter or dagger rabid/superior sigil of agony, dagger or focus rabid/superior sigil of bursting
Buff consumables: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Koi_Cake http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Quality_Tuning_Crystal

If I add the other 3 armor pieces with rabid/superior rune of the undead stats I don’t get any additional condition damage.

Only boosts like Banner of Strength, Sigil of Corruption stacks and Might can increase your condition damage above the hard cap.

There is one fun fact about all the trait point reset and template saving.
They already had template loading ingame via chat codes but removed it because people were able to get monster skills into pvp skill bars.

Mouse Escaping Full Screen

This happens to users with more than 1 screen who play GW2.

How to reproduce:
While playing in full screen mode put your mouse on the edge between GW2 screen and another screen.
Then hold a mouse button and drag your mouse onto the other screen.
Your mouse is now on the other screen.
Any click will put you onto desktop.

This problem is well known and got reported many times but as we all know ANet doesn’t care.

A workaround is the programm Cursor Lock.
You can use that tool to lock mouse to programms and screens.
It checks the position every x milliseconds – I recommend 50ms or less.

ArenaNet failed hard in several ways.
1 – forgot what type of game they wanted and for which people they designed it.
2 – forgot what they promised the buyers with Manifesto etc.
3 – put a ‘Cloak of Silence’ over the whole thing until the update release was just some days away.
4 – didn’t try to inform the community with enough details about coming changes.
5 – try to sell new copies to ‘grind lovers’ to earn more cash.
6 – copy the boring gear treadmill from all the other games.
7 – betray their ‘grown baby’ Guild Wars by calling that game Guild Wars 2 but destroy the most characteristics which made it so successful for 7 years.

At least a small treadmill will definitely come.
The infusions will be some kind of treadmill.

It will start at blue(or was it white?) and climb up the ladder.
But what happens when it reaches Ascended or Legendary?
Will they continue to add Ascended or Legendary infusions which get stronger and stronger but stay on same rarity level?

After hitting the big wall of [Ascended Armor + Ascended Infusion] the only way to continue without following the – uild Wars 1 way of stopping at the maximum – will be to add a higher tier of armor and infusion.
And we arrived at the next step of the gear treadmill by just starting at increasing the power and rarity level of infusions.

The big problem starts yet.
There is no space to start at the bottom of the ladder again.
So each new step will bring a tier of gear and infusion.

I cannot see another future for Guild Wars 2 if they will bring that update live.

So good bye to the community – was a short time. Shorter than I expected after all these years of Guild Wars 1. And with too many bugs for a release of a game(Necromancers for example had ~25% of the traits which were shown on the trait trees – rest didn’t work) but still worth it with my guild.

Here is a workaround which worked for all people with your problem as far as I know:

enter the Chantry of Secrets.

This should update the progress and the Map Completion reward should pop up at the right edge of your screen.
