Some traits not listed, my Guardians Renewed Justice and my Rangers Remorseless do not activate during the living story instances. Seems to be all.

I can see no drops from mobs, especially if it is an instance where spawns will continue endlessly until an objective is done. But traits that we base a build on… doesn’t seem right. And why choose a sigil that only works in certain areas. Wasn’t too thrilled with how stacking traits worked to begin with. Now I see them a worthless. Was a waste of resources to get them and now have to trade them out.

Are you getting this from in-game content?

I think what Mr. Stein is trying to say here is things change. The interview and blog being quoted are from more than a year before the game was released. They changed the whole look of the sylvari during that time. A month after that interview they could have decided, you know, let’s make it so a whole crop of sylvari are about to be born. But the asura come in and experiment and kill all but the 12. We will call them The Survivors instead of First Born. They could have done that if they wanted, if they did, you still going to hold them to what they said a year before when still in the creation process?

Jeff Grubb gave an interview on norn and was asked how they pick a mate. He said they are about their story, their legend, and look for a mate whose legend matches their own. I have not seen anything in game to confirm this. Now, guess what, upcoming living story Braham is getting married! But wait, his story/legend kind of sucks. He broke his leg and couldn’t do it on his own. He complains about his mom. Who would marry him? So writers think, well we didn’t put that comparing stories bit in game, so how about this: Norn throw a big moot, like they usually do. They drink until they pass out, like they usually do. The tradition is the last two standing get married. Braham has a chance! Now what is lore, what Jeff was thinking about a year before the game came out or this that got put in the game?

What Ree said way back then was probably the guide line they were using, but if it didn’t end up in game they can change it as much as they want. Re-writes, re-edits, up the kazoo I am sure. That’s the creative process. And it is not like the lore is written in a linear fashion. They leave gaps. Stories of history are added when needed. When the first game came out and if you managed to corner a dev and ask about charr females, the answer may have been: Umm, they are there, they just all look alike.

In a small way this is kind of why companies don’t like giving out too much info during the design phase. And I don’t mean just lore, but skills, professions, whatever..

“You can’t do that, you ruined the game!”

Finished with a team of 4. Made sure we all had credit for Tier 3. But at end, mission was successful, but none of us got achievement for 4.

I was watching anime, Gunslinger Girl and it had english voice actors interviewed at end. Listening to interview, the actress doing Angelica sounds very much like Zrii. Her name is Monica Rial. I am not positive, but when she introduced her self at begining of interview it sounded just like Zrii. None of the websites I looked at with her credits did not list GW2. But I am putting in a guess it is her.

Well, message on ticket today, “After reviewing the issue, it appears that your account was blocked in error. Your account is now released and you should be able to log in to Guild Wars 2. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”

Inconvenienced, stressed, made a grown man whimper. Ya, I probably should demand my subscription fee refunded for the month.

i just want to say that i have to agree with ounkeo, that some people can actually be online for a long period of times and just do nothing but farming for themselves. As a matter of fact, there actually have been cases of people dieing from exhaustion from playing an online game non-stop for days.

Umm, I did a week vacation from work starting at headstart. Last I checked before all this was up to 360 hours before this happened. But I am still alive! Want to ban be for being a game addict or send me to Alt Anonymous support group, fine. lol

I am looking into the two issues here. It’s very unusual for someone to be banned for botting who was not botting. Having said that, though, the first thing that most RMT account thieves do with stolen account is — you got it — bot. And they may do that without changing your account credentials, so you may not be aware that your account was used to bot.

You’ve both submitted tickets and that’s good. The team will help you with this issue.

I am not even sure if botting is the reason, I assumed and the ticket got that name, but the response talks just about 3rd party program, which is kinda broad. I asked on the ticket if they tell be exactly what it was. Is there a reason they can’t?

I see a lot of people here guessing at what they did. We don’t even know when the infraction took place. I was doing map completion in Eternal Battlegrounds, and then joined a group taking on the castle. Got killed and disconnected when trying to use waypoint. Was it something earlier that day or from 2 weeks ago? It would be so helpful to know and try to work it out from there. If the proof is there, then it can’t be that hard to include it on the ticket.

Like Bystander, I have a 7 year history with GW1 and never recieved an infraction.

Could my account have been hacked? Well, only notice I’ve gotten was from me trying to log in to forums from work. I’ve never noticed anything missing, only have about 10 gold amongst 5 characters. But most of my items are crafted and don’t have anything special. None of them seemed out of place when logging in to them. And if they were using my account as a gold seller crier, wouldn’t that be a different banned notice?

I am in the exact same boat. At first it was saying for botting, then next message said Third-party program, but seemed an automated response. I have played GW1 since the begining, racked up 50 on the HoM and got GWAMM for GW2. I contribute at the GW2 wiki, I am the guild lead for guildwarsinsider.com guild, I purchased the collector’s edition and bought $100 the first month on gems. I would never risk this account on something like botting, even if I did know how to do it.

Third party programs? I use Vent on occasion.

I did read this from agreement they pointed to:
(i) software that reads areas of computer memory or storage devices related to the Game;
(ii) software that intercepts or otherwise collects data from or through the Game;

And I looked at my Logitech G510 keyboard, it has the small display sceen on it. It displays GW2 stats, my World completion, an areas completion, and the characters attributes. Power, health, etc.

But I did not program this, it must be apart of the game, it even displays GW2 logo when it starts. It did this during the betas and has to be built into the game. But I wonder if this could be a cause?

Looking at my inventory and my characters, you can see it is not a bot farming account. I haven’t been doing selling or buying on the market. And if I am using a 3rd party program to help me play, well it is not working, I die all the time and kinda suck in WvW. (Don’t tell my guild the last part).

I can’t tell on ticket if they are still looking into it or if they giving me a final answer.

I was fighting in WvW, attacking main castle, I died. When I tried to go to waypoint, I lost connection. When I tried to relog I get message, I got terminated for using a bot or other third-party program. Which I have not, nor do I know how to. To dispute the claim, the support site says to respond to the ticket that states the infraction, but I did not recieve any such ticket.

I can’t see anything in my gameplay that would fall into either of botting or third party program.
