I tested it with the Grubs in the fields in the southern parts of Gendarran Fields. Seemed to work with the axe most of the time. With the shortbow it didnt (at point blank range) and i dont think they evaded the pets attack. i hope the gets fixed soon

I’ve been having this problem and decided to see if I could find a way to reliably reproduce it. Managed to do it and looked to see if anyone else has reported it, then found this.

I’ll re-report the bug with this more specific information so that hopefully they’ll see it, but figured I’d respond here to let y’all know how it can be reproduced in case it helps you form habits to avoid it until it is fixed.

There seems to be some sort of short grace period after you release a mouse button (left or right, not middle click) where the cursor can leave the window. This does not occur on press, only on release.

To reproduce it, just move your cursor near the edge of the screen, hold down one of the buttons, then let go and throw the mouse as far right as you can as fast as possible. My mouse sensitivity is set very high so I can comfortably get the mouse anywhere on the screen rapidly with just small finger movements. I often don’t notice that the mouse has left the window and end up clicking again, causing Guild Wars 2 to lose focus, which then results in it minimizing.

Obviously the most common scenario where this occurs is when you’re holding right click to rotate the character then let go of the button before you have finished sliding the mouse in that direction.

It has almost killed me a few times. :P

I have exact the same issue and came to the same conclusion and i also nearly died a few time cause of this^^

There where other skills, that worked in PVP and didnt work in PVE. That would explain why it worked for you.

@Brooksy: What weapons did you use? With the shortbow it doesnt seem to work for me either (might apply bleed instead not 100% sure) (even in 900 range or below) the reapplying is working but running out about 1 sec afterwards, wich should is a bug aswell i guess/hope.

Edit: the pet doesnt seem to apply it neither

Seconded. Make it a 30 skill point Elite for all I care. Would save me the trouble of skipping through the Heart of the Mists to get back to LA.

Agreed.

I like the changes made to dungeons and dungeon rewards.

Stop complaining and get your stupid “grinding mentality” out of you head!!!!
ANet said form the very beginning that they dont want GW2 to be grindy at all. Yet all you do is grinding, complaining and complaining that you have to grind. You do NOT have to grind, you do NOT NEED that dungeon armor. If you want it, than take you time. Do each path (of the corresponding dungeon) once a day or do just one path. You will get to your armor eventually and also you get to ENJOY THE GAME!!!!!
If you enjoy doing the same the dugeon/path over and over again, than that should be enough reward for you. If not than maybe put your time/efforts on something that you actually enjoy.
If the only enjoyment you can get form a game is grinding, than GW2 is the wrong game for you, period.
I am not saying the dungeon system is perfect as it is, but the change is still a step in the right direction and the dircetion ANet always said they gonna support.

P.s. btw the explorable modes are ment to be hard and only to be done by a well coordinated group.

The tier 2 in Valor is indeed a bit….well not so good, but the tier 3 trait that gives you healing when you apply a boon to an ally (afaik your are allied with yourself^^) is just awesome. I.e. “Hold the line” gives 2 boons to up to 5 ppl, results in 10x healing + protection + reg for yourself.

P.s. you can keep protection up about 80% of the time with just the hammer. together with the signet that gives you 10% damage reduction you are at 43% damage reduction most of the time.

Dungeon gear costs way too much

Its not just cosmetics, its also prestige. But you should get prestige for experiencing and spending time in the game compared with accomplishment, not for enduring grinding.

If you want to do this, i am fine with that. But people who want have different experiences can still do so and are not stuck with 100 Tokens for each dungeon, wich will not help them at all.

P.S. Don’t know if i used a not quite correct term, but when i said one dungen coin i (of course) meant one type of dungeon coin

The main problem (at least for me) is not, thats it take a while to get the dungeon armor or that its hard. My problem is, that i have to do the same part over and over and over and over again. Doing that is without a doubt GRINDING, which anet said will not be a part of the game.
I think a good solution would be to keep the prices as they are but make only one dungeon coin, so you can vary the dungeon/path you do. There will still be a “best/fastest” way to get the armor, but you dont have to do it that way if you dont like and you won’t feel pushed to do so if you prefer having fun while infesting a lot of effort and time to get to the “endgame-”items.

This is the build i am using: http://gw2skills.net/editor/en/?fUAQNAS5dlYgCDnFyIEf4ERWBRi9QjfcjXPcoCZIA
I have no problems to “tank” in dungeon and the regeneration it provides in combination with the protection from the Hammer chain is just awesome. Usually i just take about every hit and dont bother dodging for the most part. In Dungoens avoid red circles and you should be fine.
I stick to the Hammer for the most part for the AOE and to at least deal a little bit of damage, though the damage is really poorly, but that what the rest of my group focuses on. i only switch to Mace/focus when i get low (which doesnt happen often).
The first utility skill i switch a lot depending on the situation.
For the most part i am using Cleric’s equipment but mixed in a little Shaman’s stuff to better sustain conditions. (Armor and Weapons yellow, Tinkets green)
Id prefer runes of the Monk instead of Dwayna but can’t affort them right now.

+healing power increases every way of healing, including regeneration.
So yes it increases the passive and the active part of the signet.
