1 key drop since the change. Don’t really notice chest drops but have been getting quite a few.
Guild Mission/Favor problem for 1-2 p guilds
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

If you have 1 person in your guild, you’re not a guild. You’re a person.
If you have 2 people in your guild, you’re not a guild. You’re a couple.
=P
No matter how many people are in my guild, I’m still a person. And your examples become ridiculous very quickly when extended to larger numbers of people.
If you have 3 people in your guild, you’re not a guild. You’re a trio.
If you have 4 people in your guild, you’re not a guild. You’re a quartet.

If you have 100 people in your guild, you’re not a guild. You’re a century. This kind of silliness proves nothing and doesn’t seem to contribute anything to the discussion.
Yea, I intended a bit of silliness (signified by the emote), but the idea that people want full guild benefits and balance for 1 or 2 people is, let’s be honest, a bit heavier on the silliness.
P.s. 3 and 4 people guilds are also ridiculous and a century only applies to roman armies and years, if which GW2 players are neither.
Technically, there is 1 player involved in my guild. But… there are 8 hard working characters who strive for the common good of the guild. They are proud of their 100% guild participation rate and are all working on 100% map completion. There is also one character who hangs around the human home area to mine each day and one 56 level who just opens up bags… But the rest party together but prefer to adventure alone.
:)
And actual contribution. Personally, since I am in a one person guild, I have no problem not being able to do stuff which is geared towards guilds that actually have numbers of people.

Saw this and got panicked for a second.
I was like – “wait, the con starts tomorrow. Nooooooo.”
I received a shield precursor (forget which one) from a champions bag that came from the tri-color chest in Kessex Hills. Sold it.
And… I got Dawn (or maybe Dusk, one of those, I sold it after looking what was involved in making a legendary) from…..the Star of Gratitude. I was shocked to say the least.
… I got a Dawn last night opening a gift I got from using the Star of Gratitude…. I was shocked. (Needless to say, I did “looky what I got here” in Divinities Reach and at Teq for a bit
)Only other precursor I ever got was from a champion bag from the Toxic chest in Kessix Hills. It was a shield and I sold it fast.
Personally, I still like the new dailies. I do mostly PVE, and normally have at least three options I can complete fairly quickly. If there is something I have not gotten into yet, like 2 Fractals related events, or the world boss is not happening soon, I check the WvW options and go for either Ruin Capture, capture an area or spend badges of honor.
When doing the 4 completions in a zone, I occasionally miss out on an event but there is always another one happening soon. I have been able to complete the dailies every do so far. And thanks to trying to do some of the WvW events, I have been able to do my first World Completion.
We would need someone that matches Trahearne’s charisma and keen grasp of tactics. I would have recommended Drooburt but he has sadly passed on. Another great loss for the Pact.
So far, I have personally liked the new dailies. While I strictly do PVE, I have not gotten into Fractals. So, when the two options for Fractals showed up, I sneaked into WvW land. I had no problems completing the dailies for WvW and while there, realized that the stars were right and my server was controlling an area that I needed for Map Completion. And was also doing well in the Eternal Battlefield. So, I ended up getting my map completion done. I enjoyed running around with the Zerg and accomplishing things. (And got the snot beat out of me by real WvWs when they caught me alone
). I think I will try out some more WvW in the future.
I’ve run a character of each race through to getting the key, just for the heck of it. Did not have any issues with gaining skills, and the leveling went pretty quick. I stopped at 13th or 14th level, but I think I will gain some more levels with the two I have left.
A big bonus was I learned I was dodging wrong. I new something was wrong when I fought the Karka Queen. She would roll; I would dodge back and live, but many other players would die… it was awkward… But after the dodge tutorial, I am now doing it correctly. I let the Karka Queen kill me and wait to get rezzed, When the chest spawns, I dodge into it. I feel like a real pro now.
I did not say it was smart… I just kind of like opening up the chests.
I always end up with a black screen if I go to the store part of Black Lion. Strangely enough, all other tabs work. For some reason, tabbing to my desktop and then going back to the game clears it up.
I’ll add my two cents. I am a moron who occasionally will buy black lion keys, so this attracted my like a dog to something foul smelling on the ground. I started with 6 claim scraps already on hand.
First 25 keys, 12 claim scraps, nothing exciting. (total 18)
Decided, what the heck, let’s go again.
Second 25 keys, 3 claim tickets, 18 scraps, plus several 1G+ minis, and some extra keys. Jackpot… (total 6 tickets)
For some reason, which escapes me, I decided to go one more time But this time I would open the chests in my Home instance for luck (adult beverages might have been involved)
25 keys… 8 claim scraps.. not much else.. stupid idea… (6 tickets, 8 scraps)
I ran a new character through the storyline to get a key and then decided to buy 5 keys. I used 6 keys and got 2 scraps. So, a total of 7 Claim tickets after all this.
Since I ended with no spare scraps, I am almost positive I am done for a while…. maybe. Good luck to the rest of you that try it.
… I got a precursor shield (sold it and effectively wasted the money due to idiocy) and a wupwup weapon chest from it…. I miss it…
Do you get a total black screen? I can see anything but the Gem Store screen without problems. When I go to the Gem Store my screen turns black. I have gotten that for a while. I end up having to tab to my desktop and back to the game. This fixes it for me.
Due to strange timing, I ended up running 5 characters into ruins of Lion’s Arch for their story lines. (One character at level 80, rest under 40). The best instance had to be the “apple salesman”, calmly selling apples in the ruins.
I started guesting to Tarnished Coast on Wednesday since my home server was not filling up the lanes. Between Tarnished Coast and overflow, I have been on wins each day (2 on Friday) and several 4/5 runs. It’s been nice.
The open world doors that count for closing the door seem to be constant as far as I can tell. The doors that count are the ones were multiple enemies come out and count as an event. There are 4 in Queensdale that I have found, they have a slower rate of spawning than the other doors. Three out of the four I have been able to close solo if needed. The fourth can be pretty rough.
