-Respectfully ask any guild you are on good terms with if it’s okay to follow along
-Roam
-Join another guild in that timezone
-Accept the fact that if you can’t do those things then you’re not going to get quality time in WvW outside of raids just like any other game

just make sure its 3 or less. or its that guilds raid. TISK TISK

when does 5-10 people in any raid make it “that guilds raid”. imo most of you kids run 30+ come sit down with big daddy k when you want to run a real group. till then have fun little ones.

After the first week of the season, i really dont know why any server would want to have other guilds xfer in. Bar none was the best week of wvw <aside from the lag> that prolly most of us had. Fighting till reset pretty much on that friday. after ZD came in it was clear BG was willing to do whatever it took to secure the win. IMO the fact the matchup was sooo close the first week between all 3 servers only made Anets original idea about these leagues good. with xfers aloud post season start it killed it just as fast as a fat kid eats cake.

SoR eventually takes the plunge out of Tier 1.

Won’t happen. Not with BG losing some guilds(mainly ZDS) and SoR gaining quite a bit of guilds in a week or two.

Contrary to popular belief, ZDs leaving (if they decide to, keep in mind) won’t be enough to effect Blackgate. Winning week 1 without MERC together and with ZDs still in their home server meant that Blackgate was strong enough as it was. The times that ZDs came on were time slots that had queues. Blackgate’s interest in WvW has only grown in the past weeks with all the chest bumping, we will only a dull a bit.

I do hope SoR stays in Tier 1, I haven’t heard anything about other guilds coming in so that is refreshing to hear.

I think week one of the first season was more an example of strategy. Coming into the first season BG looked to be the third wheel. Now, I don’t know how long you’ve been in T1, but usually the 3rd wheel tends to be the lucky guy who really gets to pick who he wants to help. What was different however was that all three servers really were quite balanced in coverage. Some had their super times but it all balanced out in a way that 1st and 3rd were never more than 10k out of each other.

What won BG that first week win was the change of double teams onto JQ (a double team many of who thought was impossible). JQ was undeniably the favourite to win and they managed to come third because of clever map politics. I think without ZDs BG has what it takes to take on SoR, but it might be slightly different with JQ

Contrary to BG popular belief, losing ZDs wil be a hit nonetheless. In saying that, BG will still be strong, but don’t count them out of having such a profound affect on the season and the BGs victory of it, because that’s just silly!

And SoR is SoR. Being the other guy in the t1 match-up has really put the server back in it’s roots. That T1 trophy is like the ‘one ring to rule them all’, bro. It changes you O_o.

I’d just like to quickly thank JQ and SOR for their lovely bag donation last night. 6 hours of commanding on SoR BL, I think we wiped both blobs about 20 times each during their relentless assault on bay. Ended up with a bay WP and 40+ heavy loot bags by the end of the night, so thanks.

Big shoutout to Retribution for zerging roaming around the ruins with a small tactical squad of 10 people buffed up with 25 bloodlust, 5 guard leech and 5 defence against guard and yet still losing downs and stomps to singular players and small groups. I for one do not agree with a karma train on a Thursday. Glad SoS decided to come fight tonight! Karma trains creates 0 fights since bls are qued for hours with underlvl toons tryin to get there 6 lvls in 3 hours. I dont mind it as much on Fridays as there usually is a BL that will have small man fights on them but having it on a Thursday is just Poor Form.

Why fight at all when winning is the important thing (cough plx cough). Fair contests are a suckers game, real winners don’t leave the winning to chance with ephemeral stuff like skill or tactics.

ZD has been loggin in about this time-1.5 hours from now since they been on BG. Dunno what time EU prime starts for most but this has been the time i have encountered them. I logged in early to fight them not with my guild but to see how they work….meh no differ than any other guild just solid coverage.

And ZDs goes to Blackgate to fight IRON. I really don’t see what the issue is here. I personally did not complain when IRON came to NA shores, but didn’t agree with the KISS + other EU transfers that took place soon afterwards. So I am really baffled why there are so many EU SoR players that are against ZDs coming over, which by any account would keep EU numbers relatively even.

where do you see in any of my posts me suggesting i have a problem with ZD xfering to BG. i mentioned i am happy to fight them as long as they want to fight. But if they are here for a week and leaving unlike IRON i dont see an issue with calling them hired guns.

You can’t be serious…..if I recall correctly bg was the only NA server to have ANY EU guilds playing on it. It was a couple also. The bg SEA/EU push would end the sor/bg matchup on day one. 17 straight wins over sor (early 2013).
Iron was the first eu guild to play on sor and we were the third place server at the time.

Then HB went inactive leaving just RK to contend with massive IRON zergs. HB came back although with scheduled sporadic runs and SoR’s EU has been dominant ever since.

so IRON moves to a server where RK and HB are there to fight and then they go inactive and you think you would have the same numbers to fight? Cmon common sense, reason why IRON had more is cause you lost a big euro guild, plain and simple. IRON is the only major guild 30+ members to join sor at the euro time slot. ask yourselves what major guilds have moved to your server and there numbers. SoR is used to waking up in NA to see it all flipped. we have fought through it before and it is nothing new.

Tbh i see you guys posting of all of these guilds that xfer to SoR in euro/ocx/sea time but none of them pull a bl. IRON leads the so called “stack” EU time slot for SoR but to say that we are stacked at the time slot i guess means IRON has a larger force then yours till now? ZD xfer to BG is welcomed as i am one am excited to fight them. But just ZD has 60 strong and they can split 30 into any bl while IRON can only control one bl. Maybe IRON runs 10-30 to even 60 but its not all IRON. The blobs you may sometimes lead by iron has the ATFL KISS SLAY members you say all xfer to stack.

SoR has never been about PPT and never will. I hope ZD will try and open field fight with the forces here as today it seemed they were just back cappin towers and keeps to keep the ppt up, which is a good tactic for PPT gain after gainin the coverage control.

The above time is when I logged. JQ could have pushed hard for 2nd during it’s strongest time zone but didn’t. It’s just really weird between all the effort put in this week to just give up on the final leg. More so since it’s a weekend for JQ SEA, and they could have put in the OT to lock in 2nd place.

Anyway, it’s been an exciting week, enjoy the pre-reset karma train all.

It’s also weird that SoR just gave up on 1st place too.. I really think SoR could have pushed for 1st given EU, but I guess SoR just burnt out and couldn’t handle BG’s mastery…we are all quitters in the end.

even with the EU force SOR has doesnt top your guys oc/sea players compared to ours. Good fights but overall BG has coverage set it seems with players to spare.

That’s just the nature of T1. Your servers are too stacked. No one wants to play against them. All of T1 is going to have constant kitten match ups because the servers are overstacked and #5 & 6 won’t show up at all. Well, Mag might. I dunno. They’re scrappy.

SoS didn’t show up last time it was TC/SoS/SoR, either. I literally didn’t see a single SoS until Friday. Didn’t even see one on reset, although we were on TCBL, I think.

You do realize we dont have enough manpower to fill more than 1.5 maps even during our prime time.

but back to the issue at hand…

Its actually not an SBI guild who wants to move over to SoR, its a magumma guild who does. If magumma goes to silver league that one guild will want to play in gold league and SoR may pay for their way to transfer.

Get facts straight, don’t accuse SBI of doing this to give them some sort of advantage.

You are obliviously new to GW2 WvW. So here is a little history lesson.

SBI was one of the first T1 servers. This was out of the gate not a rise to T1 from transfers. One of our larger WvW guilds (War Machine) decided for their own reason to move to a lower tier server, Kaineng. Clearly Not a bandwagon move on their part, but this is what started Kaineng’s bandwagon.

Anet had also announced the end of free transfers around this same time. The uncertainty of the effect on SBI’s WvW and the fact that we were normally the underdog and out manned even with them. And the pressure of deciding before free transfers ended compelled many more guilds to transfer and it snowballed from there.

Many of SBI’s top guild actually went to SoR. That helped fuel SoR’s rise and SBI’s fall. Similar circumstances had/have resulted in many other top servers falling too…like HoD, IoJ, SoS…and now DB to name a few. SBI had a strong enough WvW community to stop the slide in the mid tier range and solidify there.

The guilds that recently joined SBI did so because the WvW was not good where they were and they wanted to join with others that shared their enjoyment of organized WvW fights. There was NO bandwagon to jump on. All we had to offer was a good WvW community and fun fights. It was not apparent at that time that we would rise significantly in rankings. Now that we have it is certainly possible more will join now that there is a bandwagon to jump on.

So you see by definition the “bandwagon” server would be (And I mean no offense) SoR. Not SBI.

It is just that the few immature trolls on BP and MAG just can’t stand to lose to us. They used to have their way with our after hour doors and their mega unorganized blob zergs and now whine that we use those tactics.

Yes coverage = PPT, but BP and MAG didn’t complain about that when the coverage was on their side…and they chest thumped more than any servers I can think of when they won by PvD.

So now that you know the history maybe you will realize (I speak of the few BP and MAG trolls that are so kitten they are going to stalk us even when we aren’t playing them) that you don’t and never have had cred to speak about what is going on in the upper tiers.

from what I have seen, Tempest Wolves [TW] ducks whenever defeat is certain.

The first time [TW] ducked a GvG was against Aggression, when they had a pre-gvg 15v15.

Afterwards [TW] did not GvG any promising guilds as you can see on gw2gvg.com.
Until later in the future they met up with Everything Purple [EP] who had just recently defeated a guild [TW] ducked against (Aggression). The official GvG was set for thursday 20v20, of course after realizing this guild beat Aggression (a guild already stronger than TW) TW asked for a 15v15 to feel out their opponent. TW got smashed in 15v15 by [EP] unorthodox strategy and [TW] called off the official GvG to prevent a loss. Just like they did against Aggression.

The only difference was vs Aggression is was ghost tonics.
vs Everything Purple it was kitten knows, EP did not make that public.

Now TW is straight out refusing to engage in any GvG with guilds they are not 100% certain to win against. If they did a practice 15v15 vs NS they would get stomped, and call off the official 20v20 GvG. That is if they ever do decide to “accept” a GvG.
They will dodge it last minute, this is what TW does.

No need for you to rush this, once you receive your loss, you can go back to lower tiers and try to redeem yourselves. As for us well we are here for the long haul, no need to rush our hour of fun just so you guy’s can get it out of your system. We like foreplay here in TW
