There’s Fractals Of The Mists for ascended stuff, new Twilight Arbor path was added in the last content update, Tequatl got updated so that it now takes an organized 100+ raid to take him down with pretty nice rewards. I’ve only been playing for 3-4 months myself, so I’m not familiar with past gameplay additions. Other than that, there’s the living world content.

Why would they be? They aren’t nearly as rare as Ascended boxes, and it takes a lot of time and gold to craft one. That would be just giving away them..

Rank 6+ in WvW will have regular loot in the chests (usually greens and siege, occasionally a rare or Exo) I’ve gotten 4 ascended weapons within 3 days of each other (a Tonns from WvW, Zoijas, Assassins, and Anchus from Fractals 50). Before that I got an Occams a couple months back, so fractal drop rate may have been boosted during Fractured. Or my luck is just strange lol. I know that a guild tested FOTM 48s pre-fractured and got 2% drop rate for a weapon chest. It seems much higher than that to tell you the truth. WvW chests are apparently very rare, I got mine at rank 60 or so.

Played a game before this in which lvl 60 (endgame) took more than 100 hours to get. Leveling speed in this game is much better, about a lvl/hr on average for me. I would recommend just exploring the world, running the champ train for a bit, then go on with personal story etc. 80 can easily be gotten in a few weeks playing a bit every day. Working on second 80 thief atm, just doing Personal story, living world has gotten me to 70 in a couple weeks time.

I just leave without saying anything when that happens.. Dealing with people is a waste of time.

This is my guide to Arahs’ Explorable paths. It will be updated regularly, so feel free to post any tips/pointers that might be useful to readers. This guide is generally directed towards those new to Arah, or those who find themselves having trouble with certain concepts or encounters within the dungeon.

If you are new to Arah path(s), be ready to listen to tips/strategies that the more experienced players in your group may have. This guide should serve as a general guideline, and as individual players may have different ways to approach encounters it would be wise to have an open ear. Arah, (effectively the “endgame” dungeon of the game) is generally considered the most difficult and longest path-wise dungeon in GW2. This does not have to be so, but the most important factor is how well your team coordinates. In LFG, looking or making a listing simply called “path 1/2/3/4” will probably get you a mix of experienced and new players. There is no need to make a “new player” or “newbie” listing, in fact that will result in a longer and worse run. Having at least one player who’s done the path will greatly speed up the run with greater efficiency.

Most Arah groups will be running past mobs in parts of the paths. This is just so you don’t have to kill dozens of mobs blocking your way, saving time. You’ll want to bring skills that provide Stability, along with invulnerability and general survivability skills. Thiefs’ Shadow Refuge and stealth, Mesmers’ Veil and Mass Invisibility are great skills that can get you past dangerous areas. Giganticus Lupicus, the gatekeeper of the temple of Arah, is a challenging boss who is present on every path. There will be a seperate section for him. Path 4 is roughly a combination of areas from the other 3 paths, with some differences and new areas. All bosses except Lupi is new, it is a longer path that as a new player you should expect to spend a couple hours on at least. It could take a shorter amount of time, all depends on your team. Path 3 is considered the shortest of the 4 paths, and it’s easiest to run first in order to learn the Lupi fight (The final boss comes directly after him in path 3, all other paths involve at least 1-2 bosses after him). Paths 1 and 2 are about the same length in my experience, path 1s initial run is difficult for new players.

For terms you might see in map chat or whatnot: dungeons are abbreviated AC (Ascalonian Catacombs), CM (Caudecus Manor), TA (Twilight Arbor) SE (Sorrows Embrace), CoF (Citadel Of Flame), CoE (Crucible Of Eternity) HOTW (Honor Of The Waves), and Arah (Ruined City Of Arah) Dungeons range from lvl 30 story mode 35 Explorable AC to 80 Arah. FOTM (Fractals Of The Mist) is a special dungeon that increases in difficulty as you get to higher fractal levels. EBG stands for Eternal Battlegrounds in WvW, SMC stands for Stonemist Castle in EBG. DBbl is Dragonbrand Borderlands. AR stands for Agony Resistance, which you need for running higher level fractals. No need to worry about that, can only get AR from lvl 80. LA is Lions Arch. GWAMM is a special title from playing Guild Wars 1 and unlocking a bunch of titles on that. All I can think of atm, add me Kingteranas if you need help getting into the game

I’ve noticed there’s a lot of players who still need their DM title (some with 6k+ ap). Path 4 seems to trip people up the most, mostly because of the length and Dwayna priestess fight. I’ve cleared it a good amount of times (around a dozen) and id like to help others get their title. I’ve heard 4 hour p4s, and my first came close to that. I can normally clear the path in less than 1hr 30min (with a mix of first timers and exp). If you would like to get p4 done for DM, friend me and send me a mail if I’m not on. (Feel free to whisper if I’m online). Good run times for me are on weekends, afternoon and primetime (reset time). Also im on during primetime most weekdays, so I’m pretty flexible. If you’ve ran before you can do the same, just be aware that this is a DM-focused deal so don’t expect 30min speed clears.

I’m just assuming gold means at least 1 gold piece, not “coin”. Maybe a gold per tier? 0-9=1g 1x=2g 2x=3g etc.

Get rid of your account, uninstall. If you really are sick of the game and want to enjoy your life without the game in the back of your mind 24/7, do this. Might be hard, but you’ll feel 1000x better.

People who skip him are boring.. I like fighting him, one of the actually challenging/fun boss fights there are in Arah. Endbosses are too easy. Besides, the fight isn’t that long.

A bit short for a Norn imo. But a good effort none the less. Commander tag as I understand was set as char bound from way back before Anet decided to make changes to items. It may become account bound at a later date, it may not.
