I just started hammer and I mainly want to go for a powerhouse build I’ve been building up, Its mainly for general PVE and still dungeon friendly,I mainly want this to be focused on DPS with still being able to survive, so far i’m going to max out Zeal and Honor and from there put the rest of my trait points in things that might help that build, my question is, in the honor trait line, should I get larger symbols or longer or get the regeneration trait?
I agree they really need to step up the grandmaster traits, additionally I think alot of Elite skills can be complete junk in this game, my warrior was disappointed with his, but I love my engineer and mesmers elite skills
i’m glad almost everything can be solo’d in guild wars currently as its a pain to find a group without a LFG tool, especially if i’m not doing the flavor of the month dungeon and wish to do something obscure.
worse case scenario just appeal to anet and they will unban your account? at least thats what i’ve seen done so far if they get overzealous.
2 handed axes and katana’s, I would love if my mesmer had a two handed katana instead of a greatsword.
Gw2 is a great game, but I feel like the classes really need ‘more’, or maybe I just preferred some of the old stuff, necros for instance, were quite more fun to play in Gw1 then they are in gw2.
I also expected more out of the gem store, they don’t add things as fast as I thought they would, I would also prefer if they added NON CONSUMABLE items in the gem store that would add to the quality of life in the game, thus making them some money, and getting us some things we would like.
but despite the criticisms, I absolutely love this game, it has so far kept my attention and playing multiple classes helps that. but I still hate Traehearne I must say.
I played a Minionmancer in GW1 as well, but its far too different in gw2, the minions in gw2 are just so damn bad, they last seconds at most and take forever to re-summon, in fact I don’t even use a single minion 90% of the time these days, I just throw out tons of conditions and keep my distance from mobs while the condition damage does its thing.
i’ve been looking at this build and working towards it.

what bugs me about crafting is it just takes so many materials and by the time you can gather those materials the gear it can make is often outdated to your character or you’ve already found alternatives to the gear you wanted to make.
In addition for all the weapon skins in the game, the crafting lacks a huge amount of variety in the looks of what you are crafting, would it hurt to use some of the skins from mobs and npcs and throw it into the crafting system? does every greatsword have to look exactly the same from crafting level 50 to crafting 300+?
count me in the ‘i can’t stand him’ club, if you were going to make him a Mary Sue, at least let him Sacrifice himself to give the hero (us) the chance at being the victor at the end, I just cant stand being this guys second in command, Forgal was far more of a kitten and had personality then ‘play it safe mr roboto’ Trahearne.
honestly I didn’t even start the slyvari derogatory term lettuce head until I met Trahearne lol
I vaguely remember hearing that after we use vengeance and we die again it adds to our repair cost, correct?
