OK, it’s been resolved.

I don’t if this was by design, or a freak coincidence in timing, but when I destroyed the expired Golem Banker from my Shared Inventory, I was able to consume the new one.

My current Golem Banker (2 weeks) expired, so I moved one from my account bank into my toon’s inventory and double-clicked on it. It asks “Are you sure you want to consume this,” but when I click “Yes,” nothing happens… The un-consumed Golem Banker (2 weeks) stays intact.

Hi everyone,

The Birthday and Celebration Boosters give “100% boost to… WvW rank gain” (I assume this means boost to the amount of wxp gained)

The XP booster gives “50% Experience in All Game Types”.

So, if I have both active in WvW or EotM, will I gain 150% boost for wxp? Or do they not stack?

I can’t log into any characters in Lion’s Arch—keep on getting network error message. Other places seem fine.

I recently bought the Living World Season 2 bundle from the Gem Shop and have been catching up with the storyline I’ve missed. I finished Chapter 2. Entanglement, but for some reason it’s not showing the gold Anet icon next to it like others that I’ve finished. I’ve gotten the story award, but I was wondering if there’s something else I have to do to finish the chapter? And yes, I’ve done all the missions in the chapter (see screenshots). Thanks for any help!

For a few weeks, I’ve been having an issue where I’d log a character out at, say, Divinity’s Reach or Cursed Shores, and the next time I log back in, I’m at the Trader’s Forum in Lion’s Arch.

I was on a level 1 new Charr character, just about to finish the intro crypt mission, when the daily reset took place. And got two login reward chests. One was for the correct day on the track—Day 25, Chest of Black Lion Goods. The other was for Day 1 reward, mystic coins.

I haven’t accepted the Day 1 chest yet, in case that might screw up my track progression and I get Day 2 reward tomorrow, instead of Day 26.

Players logged in after 4:00 p.m. PDT on December 15 will receive their first daily log-in reward chest after 4:00 p.m. PDT on December 16.

Players last logged out before 4:00 p.m. PDT on December 15 will receive their first daily log-in reward chest immediately after the update.

Hold down alt and drag and drop.

Outfits are a bit different. First of all, with the outfits, it’s all-or-nothing. You can only apply the whole outfit, not just the gloves or boots or whatever. If you have your headgear set to not display in the Equipment tab, then the headgear for the Outfit won’t display, either.

Dyeing the outfits is different from the regular dye system, too. Outfits only give you four “slots” to dye, and that affects the entire outfit.

The positive side to the outfits is that you can toggle it on and off at any time, on any character, without having to pay anything.

When buying from the gem store, be careful to note which is armor skins and which is an outfit!

What are you supposed to do with the unexploded shots in the Kessex Hill’s “Aid Fort Salma” event? So far the only thing I’ve managed to do is get myself blown up, which does add to the event goal, but I’m wondering if there’s a more elegant (and less painful) way of disposing of the explosives.

Just wondering about the specific time of when new sales on live in the gem store. Is it at the daily reset time (5 p.m. where I am, PST), or some other time during the day?

You’ll get the “normal” daily/monthly/story updates in the top right corner back as you level up. I forget exactly at what level, but somewhere between 13 and 18, iirc.

With the purchase of my Digital Heroic Edition, I got a set of Legacy Armor, and I picked Primeval heavy armor. I got the full set of skins to apply, but in addition, I also got a full set of the armor with minimal stats (Defense: 36, +6 Vitality for the chest piece). What is this set good for?

If so it’s probably one of the things which was hidden at low levels to make the game ‘less confusing’ for new players. It will reappear as you level up.

Hi guys,

I started playing GW2 just under 2 months ago. Got a character to level 80 and finished the Zhaitan storyline last week. After that I was immediately directed to contact Kasmeer, which started Episode 4 of the Living World Season (I think).

I see that I can unlock the first three episodes that I missed for 200 gems each. Are those like mini-expansions, with their own maps and loots and achievements? Additional end-game content for those who’ve hit level 80? Is any episode dependent on completion of another episode?

Also, is it possible to play the episodes from Living World Season 1?

I’m so new to the game that I don’t even know how to access/edit the watch list, let alone have it show up on the screen.

Hmm. Both yesterday and today, before I had completed the daily, the tracker didn’t show up.

Before the Feature pack release, I had a tracker on the top right corner of the screen that showed the progress on the Daily/Monthly goals. It’s been replaced with the Content Guide arrow. How do I get the daily goals back again? If I set the Content Guide option to “off”, the arrow goes away but the tracker doesn’t show back up.

I think they’re sold in the western-most house as you reach the crossing, coming down the road from Divinity’s Reach. I could be mistaken though.

That’s the inn, right? That’s where they used to be sold, but post-Feature Pack, the vendor has been removed.

I was able to get the tools from a vendor in Divinity Reach.

Pardon what may be the greenest of the newbie questions. I started playing GW2 a week ago and am pretty overwhelmed with the amount of info to ingest.

Having said that, my question is very simple. In Queensdale area, after the Defense of Shaemoor mission, you could buy the three gathering tools and the crude salvage kit from the merchant inside the inn. That vendor is no longer there, post the feature pack release.

So where can I buy the gathering/salvage tools in the starter Queensdale area?
