Definitely would love to see a beta test world for patches before they hit live. With the bugs hitting so hard recently (due to new content) this might be a GREAT idea to really “simulate” that “Live server” feel.
We made a guild called “Noll and Void” in a flashmob there at the spawn point. Then 2 members created alts called “Noll The Bugged” and “Canach The Coward”… It was fun.
Point being, it might be a bug, but really made people come together for a fun time.
He’s also broken on Kaineng world. We’re trying to make the best of it with Costume Brawls though.. and continually ganking the veteran tree..
Perhaps a hotfix / restart is in order? I’ve heard from other players on my world that many of our quest steps are bugged out.
Every new MMORPG has issues in Vanilla. Bugs of both large and small scale should be expected. Those of you complaining about a blip in their story should take a step back from the “I want it NOW” mentality and consider just how massive this project is for a small company like Arenanet.
Timeline has been established, the patch is due when the Lost Shores hit. Please, no more of this bickering.
Developers of Arenanet: Respect. Loads of it.
After checking for human error, open a formal ticket with the GM department to get your bug resolved. =D
Guilds don’t change servers. Your items may still be in the guild bank, but on your home world. I would suggest trying to change back. If your items still aren’t there, submit a ticket with a GM.
You may have forgotten to open one of your explore reward chests. Go from zone to zone (probably in backwards order) and look at your bottom right of your screen.
whats the point of doing so i mean why should i sell something in TP and get less
plus the wait till it is buyed when i can sell in vendor for better profit ?
Some players will have lowbie gear or items they don’t want, but don’t want to vender them. They want their “hand me downs” to go to a good home with a player who needs them.
Sure, some players will buy them and vender them; but selling that item might give the seller some satisfaction.
I agree with this. There should be a store you walk in to and pay a couple silver for a hair cut. Any other cosmetic things like sex change, skin color, body size, etc. should be from the gem store.
Not quite sure I would go as far as sex changes and the body stuff. Not that its a bad idea, I’m looking at it from more of a lore/fitting in to the environment type of thing. But hair and maybe even make-up, earrings, piercings, etc. to be available at an in game shop would awesome though
The sex change and body size changes (As well as a potential race change option) has nothing to do with lore. It has to do with personal player tastes and style. Not everyone is still satisfied with their character creation after they reach 80 and see other players looking WAY more unique. Those who didn’t create for an hour and just wanted to play the game ASAP would appreciate this feature immensely.
Instead, add a Mini slot to the town clothes panel. Also add one to the hero panel. I don’t want to carry around my minis and have them taking up inventory space all the time.
The bug came back AFTER relogging twice for me. Once or twice in the past hour. It just.. happens.. after being online.
Do. Not. Want.
I support the idea of adding mounts. Not every class gets a passive speed boost, mounts would help everyone level the playing field.
If this was a problem in WvW and PvP? Just give everyone a PvP specific mount just like they do your gear once you enter the mists.
I agree to a point. Instead of charging for hairstyles/color in the store that are the same as creation ones, how about charging only for premium styles/colors? Allow a Sylvari Female to have a similar hairstyle to a Norn Female via gems, for example. Implement some in-game gold sink for the regular character creation selected hairstyles.
I mean, hairstyles should be as easy to change as clothing. With the “Charge for it all!” mentality, they should just charge you 50 gems for each piece of equip you dye.
