It would be nice have something like Superman outfit / skin for light armor. Here is design for female, male version is more or less similar to Superman costume so i did not draw it.
Hi, there is my feedback, i was playing Mallyx/Glint in PvE.
I must say i miss these self tormenting skills of Mallyx and copying conditins by Embrace the Darkness plus Demonic Defiance, Bolstered Anguish and Pulsating Pestilence doesn’t feel that attractive to choose as other traits.
I was thinking about two ways how to solve this.
- Change Demonic Defiance to “When you have Resistance condition on you cannot be cleansed, using a legendary demon stance skill grants resistance for a short duration.” (3s)
And using old version of skills. - Changing skills to apply some kind of special effect on self instead of conditions (for example “Corruption”) which will do periodic damage and skills will have stronger effects depending on number of corruption on you.
- For example Embrace the Darkness would be something like this:
Every second apply corruption on self (1s),
apply torment on foes if you have 1 or more corruption on you,
apply Blindnes(1s) or Weakness(1s) or Vulnerability(1s) if you have 2 or more corruption, apply Bleeding(1s) if you have 3 or more corruption on you,
Poison for 4 and more and so on. - Pain Absorption would instead of pulling condition on you changed them to corruption.
I think it’s not ideal solution, but only i was able to think about.
Other thing which is problem some of stances don’t have underwater skills for example Glint. We can’t choose any other skills except these of used Legend.
What about making some neutral skills (not bound to legendary person) for example “Mists” skills which manipulete mists and you can equip them on every legend ?
Or “Disaster” skills channeling legendary events like The Searing, Sinking of Orr, Rising of Orr and others.

My feedback on playing Tempest in Verdant Brink.
OVERLOADS
i will not repeat what others already said, i just say
in BW1 i was using only fire overload as “Pocket Raptor Baker” in BW2 using overloads felt much better.
WARHORN
very good skills.
From my observation Persisting Flames doesn´t affect Wildfire.
Other problem i cant shoot Lightning Orb behind myself not even if staying in one place.
SHOUTS
are middle ground between Guardians support shouts and Reapers attack shouts, i like it.
“Feel the Burn!” is the best, nothing more to say.
“Wash the Pain Away!” great support heal.
“Eye of the Storm!” theme of other shouts is to give friends something good and somthing bad for enemies this one gives only good. My idea is when it breaks stun it inflict damage on enemy which inflicted that stun, visual effect would be lightning from breakstuned player to enemy.
“Shock and Aftershock!” very good shout but i think it would be better as chain skill. Firts skill of chain Shock apply magnetic aura and cripple, second skill of chain Aftershock! apply immobile and damage, and Aftershock! must be used in 5 second after Shock or else it goes on 50% reduced cooldown.
“Flash-Freeze!” i didn´t played much with this one it feels somehow not attractive as others, what about give it 1/4 daze and instant casting time?
“Rebound” new version sounds good but we don´t know duration of effect how much it heals so not much to say until BW3 except please make it instant cast time.
TRAITS
Minor traits:
All ninor traits are about overloads i think Speedy Conduit and Hardy Conduit should be merged in minor Grandmaster trait and new minor Master trait should be made somthing “On attunement swap” since it is still our mechanic.
My ideas:
Melodious Resonance – on attunement swap copy one boon from your ally to you and you allyes in range.
Tuning Attunement – you get retaliation on fire swap, quickness on air swap, aegis on earth swap and resistance on water swap.
Major traits:
Tempestuous Aria – please 20% shout cd reduction.
Earthen Proxy – meybe some increase of effect in this state i says “equip earth specialisation”.
Lucid Singularity – what about adding our loved superspeed?
Imbued Melodies – would be better to break stun ppl in radius not in front of us i think Karl was talking about this during tempest stream.
I’m not entirely convinced its armor and not part of the Tempests’ visual style, honestly. It looks like there’s already shoulder armor on the character, plus the way the lightning from above actually goes into it… I dunno, maybe its something related to the way Tempest casts their spells or something. It sort of reminds me of the elemental rings that appear around your arms based on attunement on a normal Ele, but in a different location. And said rings on the arms are conspicuously absent, so maybe the shoulder ring replaces the arm ones to visually separate Tempests from normal Eles?
That would be interesting change. :-D
Really hope the shoulder armor ring is symmetrical…
And I really hope it isn’t, there are so few asymmetrical pieces of light armor.
To me it looks like she has second disk under her right arm in the place where lightning comes out.
What the hell is that thing? It looks too long to be a dagger + it has a guard.

Teaser for Tempest is out and everyone talks about warhorn but
did someone noticed that lightning disk over Tempests shoulder?
I think it looks great.
What do you think about it?
Do you think it will change with attunement swapping?
I also voted for Grady´s lighthouse. But i understand why majority choosed Phoenix Roost: lighthouse like symbol of hope merged with phoenix’s ability to rise from ashes. And its similar to LA, which is rebuild after every catastrophe.
Let´s hope that old bear at least get plaque in Field of the Fallen next to Meep the beloved Moa.
Btw. i think name should be Lion Roost because that lion at Lion’s Court is much better in rising from ash then Phoenix.

That would mean 20 new skills for Eles weapon plus other 3 for sword in Arcane Attunement.
If Attunements stay as they are there will be 12 new sword skills.
Tempest specialization 6 new utility skills.
In total 41 new skills for Elementalist.
In that case they should change name of expansion:
Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns => Elementalist: Heart of Thorns
Other Professions would be very unhappy.
I would love Arcane Attunement but i expect getting some other kind of F5 skill (maybe some kind of storm attack).
Or not getting F5 skill, Guardian didn’t get F4 skill and Necro didn’t get F2 skill but getting upgrade to existing Attunements.
“Feel My Wrath” and Signet of Courage looks good. Especially signed fits great with guardian.
About Tomes i think there should not be duration after which tome dissapear, they should be similar to engies kits.
But with some activation time (Summoning magical tome) or recharge time after unequipping tome.
Profession suitable for using tomes: Guardian, Elementalist, Mesmer, Necromancer, Revenant
How to obtain specialization with tomes?

My guess is these new mordrems are made from dead sylvari.
I think sylvari from another tree look same as normal sylvari, for example Malyck.
But maybe there is more kinds of pale trees with differend kinds of “fruit”.
P.S.: I like bunny ears mordrems from Reaper video.

One of my characters is engineer so:

I believe its like this:
We feed Grawnk to obtain ornaments.
But he accidentally die (or he ended in coma, you can´t die by eating Bloodstone dust dishes, i tried).
So we collect all ornaments, send them to childrens. As thanks they send back Christmas tree decorated with ornaments.
Therefore you still have all ornaments.
I would like new weapon for mesmer to be whip.
But this thread is about new skills and traits.
So new healing skill Phantasmal Healer which will heal you and if someone get dawned he tryes to ressurect him.
And Elite skill Doppelganger which summon illusion which will do same attacks as mesmer on same target.
And i realy liked Echo ´s icon would be soo great to have it back as new skill.
I can recommend using Artificier to craft highter tier of EoL to minimi clicking.
But i like idea of Use All Stacks button.

Yes, something like that but with more events, and Skritt support level gauge to fill.
I would like to know what other players think about my theory.
The Silverwastes is full of skritt holes. There are skritts with dead giant´s body.
And that Mysterious Agressive Skritt tossing bottles on poor Seraph Archer.
And northeast part of map, behind iron bars.
Half way between Red Rock and Amber Sandfall, next to skritt hole appears another Mysterious skritt.
So finally my theory:
We will be able to forge alliance with mysterious skritts of Silverwastes.
I expect northers of map to be entrance to skritt city which is behind iron bars and on top of rocks. And Northern Shelf is event void part of map, there can be added some Aid to Skritt Events.
So what will be purpose of skrit holes?
I have two ideas.
First, SBASU (Skritt Bottles and Shinies Unit) skritt army enters battle from there.
Holes are near forts and some of holes are near places where caravans get attacket.
So support in Defend and Escort evets.
Second, There is only one Waypoint on map.Way to Blue Oasis or Amber Sandfall is too long. We would be able to insta-travel thru tunnels.
Maybe there will be second layer of map (up on rocks, i have seen bridge up there) connected to lower layer thru these holes?
Mysterious Skritt
Yeah, that skritt between Amber Sandfall and Red Rock, which says Run away ! and disappear and appear again in 1 minute and 10 seconds, that Mysterious Skritt which is reason why i started to thinks about all this?
I don´t know maybe we´ll save him in living story and thanks to this we will be able to access skritt city?
