No. Alpine 100% until they come up with a new map much smaller and less intricate then the desert bls.

I’ve already gotten better fights on the alpine bls then I did on the desert ones since xpac. They need to come up with a new map yes but in the meantime I would much rather enjoy myself on old content then quit the game because I’m forced to play on EB since I don’t love the parkour or the emptiness. The desert bls made a lot of people quit along with some other not so good moves. They’re on the right track but the movement to bring back the desert bls should just stop unless you want the game to stay dead.

Only way the desert bl will work is if it replaces EB. The desert bls need a lot of people for it to be a good map. 3 of them is a bad idea but 1 might be worth playing.

They should have left T1/2 alone at least for NA the pop if fine. They should’ve merged the lower tiered servers together so that it would possibly put everyone on a level playing field population wise.

I find this thread funny. Most duels tend to happen because people are roaming. Most scout report happen because players are roaming. QQ all you want about them but they’re better players then the brainless zerglings. Go to PvE if you can’t handle smaller scale fights

I love how people say ET is the strongest t8 server like its t8 and and they were in last place how strong can they be? Maybe BG has a huge rise in population because before veterans quit they moved back to BG like myself and are starting to play again with the alpine bls coming back. But keep saying strong t8 server it makes me laugh.

It’s a troll post. Roaming groups are 30-40 the baddie zerglings run in blobs. Cannon practice every week a day before reset. We must defend our objectives if we want to win.

Usually when I play I like to run into people. Maps are to big for roamers. Automatic upgrades take a player aspect out of a player driven game mode kind of defeats the purpose.

Any idea when this will be turned on? Been waiting for awhile to turn in these proofs.

Either way it’ll take map queue or really close to one on all 3 sides to fulfill the potential of this map. To do that 3 times + EB is extremely difficult. Since there isn’t an over abundance of players out. Roamers won’t to run around a huge borderlands for hours to just find pve mobs. I really hope they react soon.

Yeah I’ll only go into EB to roam. The new Borderlands is EOTM without the ktrain. They clearly didn’t ask any wvw players/guilds and quite frankly it seems like the Developers have never been in wvw.

Yeah they should just make this the new EOTM map and just update the old one slightly. No serious wvw player wanted these vertical maps like the new PvE zones. That’s why we’re in wvw to not PvE. A huge vertical complex map is bad for borderlands that was hard to get people on in the first place. only thing this new map accomplished was making EB’s queue 10 times longer. Anet has to react soon, WvW dead game mode confirmed.

Map is to big. Should’ve just added the Central thing in Desert Bl into Alpine. Desert Borderlands is way to big but would be great if WvW was a 12 hour event not something that lasts a weeklong. It’s pretty much a baron desert (not sure if anet meant the pun) with so many pve mobs hindering players trying to get away from PvE but wanting to PvP on a larger scale (huh go figure). Anet please get rid of this borderlands or make it not as vertical/not as much pve/smaller so people actually want to roam and get fights.

I don’t like these maps at all. They’re really nicely developed and they look great. The problem is they’re so huge and vertical that you can run around for far to long and see nobody. There’s way to many PvE mobs in a map that is suppose to be PvP based and the PvE can influence fights to much (not sure if anet predicted maps being dead and they map PvE mobs/keeps defend themselves). Please bring back the old maps or come up something that doesnt have as much PvE in it this is WVW!

It’s not even launch yet and people are already mad. Anet really seems to know what they’re doing. Sadly the only response we’ll get from them is when we ask for a refund on the expansion.

They’re going to have to move it back to Friday. The “more players that log in on Saturday” will probably quit game bc of this. Anet already doesn’t care about WvW and now they’re just kittening off the population that cares. My dead grandmother comes up with better Ideas then you guys.

Thank you for changing the time anet. Now I’ll never be making another reset because of these bad changes. I’m quite underwhelmed with all your changes. Poor play anet poor play.

NSP has a tough matchup this week. Should be a great learning experience for all. Don’t pass us up we’re always willing to teach new players in WvW.
