TS3: Rawr-Dragons.com (no pw) | Currently Recruiting!
Just coming here to leave my support for a separate RP chat channel, making the /me range smaller or adding the ability to directly block people using emotes. Another option could be changing /me so only people on your friendslist can see it, thereby ensuring that it doesn’t bother half the map.
Roleplayers are a minority in this game. That doesn’t mean that they do not have the right to do what they enjoy doing, but at least make it possible for the rest of us to enjoy our game without being bothered by these few people.
I’m sure most RPers don’t mean anyone any harm and a fair few will be aware that the rest of the community do not want to partake in their way of gameplay, therefore moving away from highly populated areas. But my gosh, some of the people who simply don’t care and stand around spamming chat in DR or Rata Sum… It inspires a certain kind of slow burning rage, that eventually spills over as toxicity towards the entire RP community. I do not enjoy your random, useless (to me) spam.
Saying I can change my chat setup does not seem at all adequate in dealing with this problem. It will cut me off from messages I do wish to see, by people I know. If I have any part of the UI open or if I’m tabbed out, I can’t see it when someone waves at me unless I read it in the chatlog. Why should I have to remove this from my chat?
On a sidenote, I bought a Captain’s Airship Pass in the last sale, which means I don’t have to deal with rp spam anymore. What a relief. \o/
Just popping in to say a few things about the changes to T4 fracs.
T4s always did feel like a waste of time, when you could instead do something that is actually entertaining (this is a game; people are in your game to have fun) and/or gives decent loot, but you’ve really outdone yourself now. I’m not saying you should add more rewards, I’m stating that spending so much time on something so unrewarding and boring is just a grind, not the fun gameplay I’m certain a lot of us would like to see from you. I used to run T4 fractals every day, and now I just don’t play them anymore whatsoever. GG WP, you killed any incentive I might have had to do fractals.
TL;DR: You made fractals an unengaging waste of time. Designers, plz Git Gud yourself.

Even if you know roughly where to jump, you will often hit something and die. Hardest diving goggles in the game… I always advise people to face the V where the holographic mountain on the right (that is blocking the view) meets the horizon. Walk off facing that way (don’t jump away from the platform) and navigate your way down holding S when you see a beam heading for your face. Make sure you do not take the goggles too early, because they may run out on your way down. If they do, no achi even if you hit the water!
I have a mesmer stashed there so I can port guildies, but I’m also perfectly willing to port anyone else who needs them, if you need some help Free to anyone, so if you see me online, just send me a pm. I can port from the waypoint to the goggles every two minutes. EU servers only though
You can remove all decorations in one go, if you have the right permissions; someone probably placed them in a hard to see spot! There’s lots of places to hide stuff in in the guild halls, so try removing them all. To clear all, press g, top right, go to your Guild Hall. While you’re in the guild hall, press g, go to the 5th tab (Storage), then 3rd window (Decorations) then click: Clear Decorations (top right, it will ask you to confirm). This should put all the placed decorations back into your guild’s storage!
Can you use skill 2, as in, click it and do the animation but it doesn’t show the green path? If yes, you’re just not close enough to a chest for it to show!
Try walking to another part of the map and use skill 2 again. If there is a chestfarm going on in your map, all the chests might already have been opened; it takes a while for them to respawn. You can recognize where chests are in SW by searching for little piles of sand that are slightly higher and of a different colour than the surrounding area. The easiest way to spot them is to up your gamma and turn your settings all the way down.
I’ve personally never had any issues with the shovels, but that might be because I know where all the spots they can spawn at are. (If you don’t know where to search for them, https://gw2efficiency.com/guides/text-guides/silverwastes is a nice map with most of the spawn locations marked! )
Heya Lunaka, [Rawr] Kingdom of Northern Dragons is recruiting We’re about 130 players, 30+ online every evening, EU based, level 64, TeamSpeak, a guild WhatsApp group and loooots of friendly banter! We do different scheduled activities every evening, and there’s always someone willing to do stuff or help out. The community is really incredibly friendly, so I’m sure you’d find people to comfortably do group content with.
The only requirement is that you are 18 or over! We don’t have a rep requirement, so feel free to come take a look and check us out. I’ll send you an invite and hope to see you online!
I’m wondering if anyone has a good high dps DH build that doesn’t involve retaliation?
Retaliation is a killer when you’re dealing with the Boon Thieves instability… Metabattle builds for fracs all seem to include some traits that give retal, so they’re out.
Thanks in advance
Can confirm, although it gives us a bit of an edge over other guilds, I suppose! :’)
We were already level 64 when we queued the last upgrade we had to do, which got us to 65 today.
It might be low on your list of priorities, but it’s all the way up high on my list of daily annoyances. My god man, if I can sell the first few things quickly, just let me sell the rest too, instead of having to wait 15 seconds between sales. I’m rather sure the few of us commenting aren’t the only people who get annoyed by it… We’re just annoyed enough to speak up about it. This is one of the main errors EVERYONE in the game has to deal with. Tiny, cute lil’ fish can still stink
TL;DR:
Kitten just fix it already q.q kitten.
Try again tomorrow; I’m always able to withdraw again on mondays, not so much on sundays…
Bump Same issue, is there a fix? Any dev response?
I keep black screening over and over again, no matter which character I’m on or what I’m doing in the game. All that’s left is the mouse pointer, the rest of the game has poofed. I need to alt+F4 to get out. I get this issue both in the 32 and 64 bit clients, and I’ve run -repair on both. See attached Diag file for more info (hopefully it contains something helpful).
Thanks in advance
Another vote for Zodiac skins! You rereleased the Dreamthistle skins once upon a time, please have the Zodiac ones come back too! 600 to 2k gold for a skin? Come on!
Of course, another vote for Bunny ears
This ^. Highly annoying if you want to play together! You can’t join each other in the same instance either, because, as stated, it’s an instance….
Oh, asked some guildies to add their own reports here but:
“I’d post my problem, but I’m afraid tabbing out will crash my gw”. -Shyv.8296
Tabbing in and out seems to be causing some problems as well.
“I uninstalled and did a fresh instal with the 64bit client, was fine for a while, then poof”-Taylir.8164
Yay, you guys. It happens so often that some of us are getting rather fed up with doing large scale events, since we often end up with nothing. Whoop!
I get crashed to desktop with the popup that says something like: “Gw2.exe has encountered a serious issue, bla bla … send a report to ArenaNet”. I keep sending these off but never hear back from the team. Now, that wouldn’t be an issue if there were some sort of larger response to it, but I haven’t heard or read anything yet.
I use the 64 bit client, if that is of any use to anyone. I can add here that I’m getting these crashes on several different machines, with different hard-, and software. They often occur when I’m just about to finish some large scale event, such as Tequatl, DS, meta, TD meta, Shatterer, Vinewrath etc.
I’m not the only person who’s been crashing a lot lately. At least one or two guildies crash per tequatl run, every day. For them it seems to be happening in areas with a high population as well. Not getting loot and being unable to get the boss chests is just amazing <3
I would really, really like to have someone at least confirm that this is being looked into! Thanks in advance
Coo! Quaggan loves you!
Luna
Can I nominate three awesome people? x)
- Gram Akalite (Fulguard.8346) is the person who has helped me more than anyone else in this game. We met during beta and we have played together since He’s helped me craft my Twilight, and just about any other shiny I wanted in game. He has terrible luck getting the things he wants though, and neither of us have been able to afford much in game. Especially after throwing thousands of greatswords into the forge, to try and get Dusk :‘) I think he deserves something nice
- Cearas Littlesister (littleEP.1692) has been my steady jp buddy and has become a good rl friend. She’s had a tough time irl so we haven’t been able to spend much time together lately, but she’s still as awesome as ever. She’s helpful to anyone and everyone who needs help, without asking for anything in return. She’s also the person who gave me Dusk for my birthday; the last piece I needed to craft Twilight, my first and only legendary (so far :’) ).
- Taylir Echoylir (Taylir.8164) is one of the officers in my guild and is the one person who has been way too helpful building our guild hall, spending all his gold and mats to get it done.
- I could name a hundred more people, but these three stand out for me, personally
I hope you enjoy whatever you do once you leave gw2 behind you Thank you for your generosity!
Same, HotW p4 isn’t working for me… My bugreports seem to have gone unnoticed aswel!
We get to give gifts to poor little orphans for Wintersday, but wouldn’t it be nice to also be able to gift those nice warm socks and sweaters to the beggars in Divinity’s Reach? It seems that this isn’t exactly fair to the unfortunate men and women who are walking around in scraps of clothing, while the orphans at least look presentable and warm!
Everyone deserves a bit of love and attention right?
What an awesome thread Will have to bookmark for future reference
My guildies helped me get my glittering skins, yay

Kingdom of Northern Dragons [Rawr] is looking for new members!
We are a PvX guild based in the EU servers. [Rawr] is a relatively young guild with around 70 members, though more people join us every day. You can count on someone being online at all hours.
We have a daily schedule which includes Tequatl, dungeons, Fractals, Triple Trouble, PvP, contests and Silverwastes events and chestfarms. We organize our own Tequatl and Silverwastes maps, and do guildmissions weekly.
We are a very open and friendly group of people who can be as laid back or as serious as you would like them to be. We do not have a rep requirement, but representing is preferred. If you aren’t up for joining us for some dungeons/tequatl/contests/etc. every once in a while, we are not the guild you are looking for. If you, however, do want a guild which gets you a little more involved in the game, please join us!
Our teamspeak: Rawr.4npserver.com
Requirements:
Be 18+ (if you are younger you may be able to join, but we’d like to chat with you a bit first).
Have at least one level 80 character.
Be able to use TeamSpeak.
If you want more information or you wish to join, either come on teamspeak and poke a Dragon, Elder Dragon or Dragon Queen, or send a whisper/mail to Luna.1839 (Dysisa) or to Jarabacek.5803.
Enjoy playing!
From another angle… I have a few more screenies, if needed.
I waypointed to Falias Thorp Waypoint last night, and instead of seeing the environment I saw a green/black screen, in which my character was sort of outlined but seethrough and weapons that light up were still visible. Swiveling the camera, there was only one angle from which I could see the environment normally. Walking away from the waypoint didn’t help any, but waypointing to a different place and then waypointing back did fix the issue. I run gemfx, so the screenies may not look exactly like what they would have looked like in game without it, but that shouldn’t make the game look like this…
8. I was fighting Tequatl and doing damage (I saw the damage numbers), when everything around me except my partymembers, Tequatl and the environment (ground/hills etc.) seemed to disappear. I could no longer see or use my skills (they were all just grey squares, like when you are swimming on the water, but without the animations that come with moving into the water) or do damage.
Did you try wping? This exact thing happened to me, also a couple of days ago. I was able to fix it by waypointing to Broloonoo.
Read on I did, and it did fix it for me, yay.
1. A couple days ago, ~21:10, gmt+2.
2. Luna.1839 (on my guardian Luna Elen).
3. Sparkfly Fen.
4. Right underneath Tequatl at the Splintered Coast.
5. Fighting Tequatl, and going from the main phase to the turret phase.
6. I didn’t actually die, so I can’t provide a gif, but I did experience what happened to the people above before they died.
7. See above.
Since we have been experiencing a lot of lag in that fight, I figured it would clear up soon enough, so when I was told that the turret phase had started over ts, I ran for the eastern turret. About halfway there, I got the pop up about being at the end of the world (“You’ve hit a strong current and will be pushed back if you continue further.”). On my minimap, I still appeared to be on the way to the turrets, but I could not move any further towards them. I waypointed, which seemed to fix the problem (and almost made me miss the end of the fight). After the fight was over, one of my guildies experienced a similar problem, where he couldn’t see anyone around him anymore, but did see the chest. However, he was unable to open it, from his position right on top of the chest. He was forced to go back to character select and log back into his character and back into the correct map before he was able to loot the chest.

The hero point exclamation mark keeps popping up on mapchange. I’ve put points into some categories, but I haven’t unlocked everything (because I don’t use everything). Opening the Training tab in my Hero panel makes it disappear, but it reappears on mapchange.
Just did the jp to see if this was indeed so, they seem to have changed some parts, but it’s still possible to finish it! Try using stability
The quaggans have been around for a while and I can confirm that yes, they swim The hippo does too, but I don’t know about the piglet
Same here, I get the error message and have to restart gw2 :/
I love it <3 If you know what you are doing, the massive amount of items and the fast pace at which things can be bought and sold in the trading post creates opportunities to make nice amounts of gold. Aaand of course, it makes it easier to buy the gear you are looking for, especially if the gear is hard to find, since there are more people who can find it! It also provides lots of mats for crafting
