A how to PvP or something?

imboa stacking is terrible and lowers the already low skill cap of the game. GW2 devs did it to make the game easier for new players, so ya they wont change it back.

Instead of using skill and time each imboa, Anet just let it be easy so noobs can just spam them all at once and forget.

Char progression…… I haven’t WvW since launch and now I’m so far behind and don’t feel like spending a month getting all ascended gear.

Get back to me Anet when skill costs are removed and I can play again and we aren’t forced into buying 3 extra char slots if we want to delete our lvl 1 spvp char and remake it, since some only have 5 slots and want to play all 8 classes.

I really hope the new elites dont cost 100 skill points and they remove the skill point cost of the heals soon!

Ya its also not a secret that before everyone left there were still not alot of good players. And GW2 has never been competitive, since the Spvp pop is ridiculously small.

Ele is fine as is for this game.

And if you dont play it then you just find warrior easier with only 1 weapon swap and a heal you aren’t required to click.

I already said thief is the only 1 thats reliably able to catch ele.

And Mesmer, Havent seen many in Team Q use blink to an ele, I could be wrong.
Any good team only sends a thief, they wont send another class at it.

And then the ele just needs to hold out till someone drops at the mid fight. Which eles can survive quite awhile with protection and chaining frozen ground, frozen armor, static field, static armor, earth wall, earth armor + heals. You just need to know how to play

But then again your talking about soloQ lol, no good team sends a guardian with a sword or mesmer after the ele.

The only thing that can catch up to ele reliably is thief. Learn the blink locations.

Ah I see your talking about SoloQ I guess from the pic. Everyones made it top 10 not even trying. Rank 2 is the highest I’ve been because you need luck to beat rank 1 XD

It makes sense since you dont play much anymore and that you didn’t read the patch notes, being they were all buffs or a few traits moved on ele.
Tempest defense is more then twice as powerful lol its so broken.

Anything not listed in reporting, please use botting as requested by the devs. Its the default.

just to say my main is not ele and not thief. I have 3,5 k games on engineer.

But I played in 2 teams with eles now and have 600 games on ele as well AND I theroycraft ALOT with my ele friends to make it viable again. And just nobody has a solution.

(btw I have 1,8k games on thief too if that matters for you)

Why do you think there are almost no eles around anymore? why did you think phantaram rerolled on thief? It’s just a fact face it, ele is not viable.

You can play with ele, but you will never be as effective as with another class in your teambuild.

We also play with ele and are around top 100 all the time. But when you get to top 50ish or so teams are just too good tactic wise, you can’t win with better tactics, you need to win the fights and that’s where ele just looses you the game.

You feel the same way about mesmer?

Im not django commenting on theif vs ele when he doesn’t even play the professions. Apparently hes taking everything from his 3 ele friends who also says they suck so they might not even play ele either….

I think the different between you and Django is that he play in high rank TPvP and I played against his team and they know what they do. So he also know how easy it is to focus down an Ele. You have a really tough live vs a good team as an Ele in TPvP.

So when I play Solo Q or play vs lower ranked ppl it is easy to kill them fast with a Ele but when the enemy knows how the ele works, how to block attack, how to make pressure on the ele and how to focus targets you need to play you’re Ele really good to get any damage done on the enemy team.

Interesting I got rank 124 team on my ele just before dec 10th ele buffs. When we were just trying out a team. It will be alot easier now with the buffs. So the only difference is I played ele at ranks 100s. and sounds like he hasnt and again his friends think they suck so why would they even try ele in the 100 ranks.

Thats exactly how i know you dont play ele. You didnt account for the amount of time you spend IN earth, while also accounting for the amount of time being spent while doing your rotation as earth is off cooldown. you’re looking at 6s every 25s, not 10.

I dont spend anymore time then I need to in earth I use a skill I need then swap out, I spend maybe 2 secs in earth every 10 seconds.

Lol if your not swapin into earth every 10s for 60% prot uptime while being attacked then your doing it wrong. Thats how I know your a bad ele.
You must use all your earth skills then wait 25s for them to come up. You dont use all your skills unless you need it.

Not to mention 6s blasts with earth 2 for frost blast, water blast, and might blast. should happen every 10 seconds. Along with alternating reflect when needed+ wall/imboa.

It would help a bit but in the end wouldnt really matter. Its very easy to afk and the system not detect it. Some guy was (AwayFromKeyboard) no kitten 25+ times before the new 3 dishonor stacks hit him.

Tell me when I can play again. I cant play the classes I want because I only have 5 slots and need to delete 1 in order to play a 6th prof which requires me to get 25 skill points every time.

ya 18.5k hp + healing glyph and regen + healing rain + geyser + blasts + water elite. prot gives you time to get off heals and kill the target at mid.
+static aura + frozen ground + frozen armor 10% dmg reduc not sure if it stacks with prot. But it all helps vs thief and you can last until your team wins at mid and the thief is like :/

Your exaggerating theif if they did 10k dmg perfectly every time then every prof w/o toughness amulet would be killed. Unless they had 20k hp like necros then. 2 thiefs in less then a second would both backstab for 20k. Making thief the best in the game and every1 would run 2. Thats not how it works tho buddy

edit: I guess they have perma stealth and can never be targeted or die. Everyone has to run 5 I guess in your logic, of thief can kill anything in 1 shot or even your “next 3 seconds” as you said.

I have 14k hmmmm. 6sec prot on 10s earth swap. 3 1/2s prot on aura every 25s with static aura 4s static shield w/stun (tempest defense) + another 3 1/2 with frost armor 40s blast. + 12s prot forge runes. + armor of earth 7s prot.

Even if I didnt have protection.
When does backstab do 14k dmg? If I dont react for kitten sitting their sure he gets more then a backstab off. But I guess only your ele friends do that and thats why they dont think it works. They must be bad.

Ya I know how thief vs ele works, thats what were talking about here. + I play the game lol. I know basi, it procs static aura which is a 25s cd w/traits gives prot. And your telling me the rest of the time the thief keeps his distance vs an ele? no Cause his team would be dead. Hes almost forced into training ele.

Assuming you think Im bringing a pve staff ele build (thats lvl1) and saying that I think staying at max range wont get me focused is silly, are you mocking me? and I dont understand why that joke would even be funny. This is the Spvp forums.

I know you get focused because staff ele aoe is the highest burst atm. And Like I said you just need to know thief 1v1 since its the only class with more blinks to catch up to you at all the blink locations.

In a good team with a good ele. Its not like this game is competitive.

The only counter to ele is thief with more blinks, With tempest defense being twice as powerful now and only 10 points for blasting staff, you just need to know how to fight thief.

As a matter of fact, I’d take a step further and add more – 1 G &10 laurels ontop of the 25 SP cost sounds perfect. After all, they’re easily obtainable just by playing the game.

I just occasionally get my point across in an unorthodox manner, normally by using indirect means of communication.

As a retired player, I fully support the idea of implementing more links between pvp and pve. As a matter of fact, I think consumables should be adjusted as to work in pvp too, along with the gear threadmill.

you support anet forcing people to pay $30 for the extra char slots if they want to try out the new heals. Alot of people only have 5 char slots and are forced to delete 1 in order to play one of the other 3 professions.
It makes sense tho you not playing anymore and it not mattering to you. But 300k glory + 40g just to try out a new skill and If you delete your lvl 25, you just have to do it all over again or pay the $30 price tag.

June 25 necromancers received 2 new conditions; Dhuumfire + Torment + a load of other things, OP spectral wall, spectral armors in DS what a great idea!
Also if you know or not how they thought this was a good idea or be honest and tell us whether or not it was tested.
