Certain races do have a better “fit” lore wise, but if you don’t care about that, no big deal then.
For example, there are no NPC Charr guardians (or there weren’t going to be according to an old interview) but charr engineers are quite logical.
Half the iron legion npcs are guardian.
My max size norn got 99.99999% completion as first character, only missing some 3 WvW PoI that pretty much require us to start on blue. I barely had any issue, the worst being that troll cave in LA.
Isn’t that question a bit pointless? Since it’s totally up to personal taste.
By looking at other players, you could guess that everybody look best in pure black/white/gold. Specially on flaming armor.
Tinkering an army of lethal turret is just the same.

Yeah i know they are horrible, but we are mostly talking about lore so balance is irrelevant.
I didn’t mean getting your rifle stats on your grenades, this should be simple enough. I mean getting a separate and selectable set of stats on your grenades, another one on your elixir gun, another one for flamethrower… It would require a new interface and alot of work.
Kits have been affected by the weapon’s sigils for a while now.
Applying sigils/stats to the skills themselves as if they were equitable weapons would be too complicated i think.
People don’t seem to get what the norns are about. They are not barbarians that only know about the glory of smashing stuff in the face. They are a people that want fame, ANY kind as long as it’s not too disturbing.
Killing mighty foes is not the only thing that bring fame. Creating great statues, being the best blacksmith, drinking the most mead without passing out, seeing every type of snowflakes. Those are not feats that really require guts and honor, yet you can see them all in game. Tinkering an army of lethal turret is just the same.
I don’t think they’ll add the missing racial sympathy, it’s not really that important.
But it’s weird that Azuras don’t have skritts, they have a long history together, even if it’s a pretty bad one.
Ok… Forgal died on claw island for me a few hours ago. And just NOW i got into a DE event in regular PvE in bloodtide coast, named “Avenge Forgal”. The Undead commander even said “You should have died with Forgal!”.

The way i see it, the animation was kind of canceling itself. By adding 40 mili sec to the normal animation, so it not longer bug and cancel itself halfway, so the attack speed you see now is the intended attack speed.
Most class saw their “best option” get nerfed. Greatsword guardian got nerfed, s/p thief got nerfed, and even bots agreed that the shortbow was the best weapon.
I was able to do it on my first try with engineer. Been a while, i can’t recall the build i used. Was probably the classical Net turret + Rifle, and kiting to oblivion.
As a thief, how would pistols+caltrop skill+caltrop on dodge traits work? His mobility was pretty bad iirc.
I currently use the flamethower as “main” weapon for my engi, using the rifle as secondary weapon. I run a boon heavy build.
I use 30 firearm and 30 alchemy (the last 10 is either explosion for burn on crit or tool for speed on kit swap). With 30 alchemy alone, juggernaut last enought to stack up to 8, it’s 280 power/condition. I also use the trait that give vigor when you get swiftness, with speedy kits, i get swiftness AND vigor for 7 sec whenever i equip the flamethower. I run elixir H and B (and we get a free B with 5 alchemy) for MORE boons that last a long time.
Swapping often is the key, it allow you to keep vigor, swiftness and most of your stack of mights. Plenty of combo can be done, like rifle net the guy in the firewall, double pushback… Sadly the flamethower got a few targeting issue, 3+2 combo always fail, but the rifle knockback work with flamethower 2…
I got a slighty related issue.
With an asura/human/sylvari, if you fully zoom, you see your whole character. It cover most of the screen (verticaly) and is great for screenshots.
With a norn and charr (not sure for charr), fully zooming in hide everything bellow the belt, the head being in the center of the screen and not the top, in battle stance the head is 2/5 from the bottom of the screen, most the body is hidden. Zooming out doesn’t help, as the head stay centered there is a huge empty area over it.
We have a X axie position slider, i would really like an Y one to balance that out.
