weird i have not crashed even once after setting change :L in PvE or WvW :S

tho few friends do get crashes time to time only in wvw :s

try setting max settings or high animation should fix the preview crash, kept happening to me when i tried with Low animation setting after med / high could preview just fine.

Animation on Low = Crash , set to med or high to resolve it

Worked for me in LA & preview window else its crash upon preview or seeing it xD

Nothing special imo , killed 2nd boss in about 10 seconds as condi reaper, first was very easy as well once u understood how to use the counter magic correctly without getting pushed back by his spinning in shield phase but that’s about it.

I recall Anet did say its not “Required” to have ascended but it will help tho Pug groups will probably make it an requirement no doubt ^^.

We don’t really know what Anet considers “Hard” anyway for example “Liadri in pavilion was nightmare to many but easy to some”

If you plan to run with Friends/Guild i don’t see any issues with not having ascended gear, tho as i said Pug groups will most likely be different just like in all contents ^^

Most vets from the GW2 beta may remember how things were from the launch and how till to the very day we still see ancient things getting fixed, we can prepare for that again thats for sure but i would not consider it serious its very common these days in all games game breaking things are always fixed fast and minor things when time / resources allow it.

Gotta wait and see how raw the food will be ^^ ( lil ketchup should fix the taste a bit)

For any content outside Fractal Ascended rates are nightmare. 30ish armor chests , 4 asc weapons and more than enough rings to open a store.. in 6 months (20,30,40,50) as example.

oh well hopefully next week we will see them wings .__.

I’ll put this in this way : you are doing a full dungeon run (in need of money for more shinnies) including Asc Cat full run + CoE full run + CoF 1/2 + TA FWD/UP + Arah 1/2/3 + CM FullRun, every day for let’s say a week, in order to grant you 50+ gold/day.

Do you prefer 5 hours run with some randoms, or 3 hours with a full meta group for each dungeon ?

Faster the better > Time is money and often very limited, people want the most value for the time and adding factor that most have done the paths for 500+ times.

Apart from joining small/med sized guild that loves doing stuff ( where you are not just name on a rooster tab )

Create a funny lfg + “all welcome” blabla bla shows good results ^^ as long you keep what you get (often do see meta focused people but very friendly)

Imo Both options are very good and chance to get some new names on fl that are worth keeping for future runs etc x)

Well everything has its good and bad sides ^^ , but we all know such thing never will happen.

Ability to inspect Gear & Build would be soo nice no need to ask anyone to link anything just check em out and ask politely to leave if theres something wrong before run begins to not waste anyones time. (Ofc this would go for Meta’s) tho id also could consider it useful for new ppl checking out vets builds and stuff for their learning curves as some may be afraid to ask stuff ^^.

Hopefully, i really miss the gauntlet .__.

The price may seem bit high for expansion , but when i think about the Core Game price what was pretty close to same numbers i recall and when i look how many hours of fun it has provided over the time i would say theres just no other games in my list that i have enjoyed over 6k hours and still going back into it.

To me it just seems quite fair price compared to many other games that charge over 50 and barely last few hours ^^ and considering you get content over time for free

Mesmer has Fair damage with Right Gear + Build + Time warp/feedback etc
No one really takes mesmer in pt for “Damage” anyway ^^ but utility’s are useful (thats my opinion)

Also necros have fair damage with D/F + D/WH (granted tho many run staff only ) xD

Well account security falls into users duty in the end.
(As far i know changing guild wars 2 password means including CD-key)
This is why usage of separate unique passwords is vital & keeping all sensitive data off-line.
Loosing an email often means loosing everything if personal security on core level is poor NOTHING will keep you safe, simply a reminder that anet has said very often for years.

Little question: What’s NPE?

New Player Experience ( if i recall correctly) Breaking the game learning process into steps by step kinda thing as in Unlocking skills & abilitys & game modes at certain levels to make it more easy to understand and providing some info about new content thats been unlocked. i may have missed a lot but that just a pointer to it.

I don’t really see anything bad about NPE as it was designed to “new” players mainly * 9 chars before NPE and 5 after NPE but i found it rewarding to actually finish your story on old chars for extra tomes etc considering future chars if one decides to skip few points in levelling process.

Probly between 10-15GB a wild guess .

I guess it will run on current specs just fine but if you cant play with Semi-Maxed settings in Instance/Normal content then i think its a good time to upgrade things considering the future anyhow.

As usual slacking around in queendale for events and them 2 keep hitting my eye o.o

Dawn & Rodgort’s Flame dropped think around when i had about 5k hours.. before the great dungeon changes i think.. but since then nothing as drop.

Skipped 99% of the thread to just say .. Moose mount hell id even pay 8000 gems for that

I personally enjoyed doing this chive solo, once you realized that sand spawns where elementals die you get the idea how to kill them "Trap"Immob" let them die and focus boss , repeat. kinda worked for me not very fast tho but it went very smooth. and winds only spawn like once a while so making it fairy easy to dodge.

Wicked Rodeo was far easier solo imo cuz of full party scales health soooo much it felt more painful in scaled mode and you tend to die more while reviving others ^^.

But still.. probably most enjoyable LS ive seen since liadri pavilion so offer still stands if anyone wanna be carried through it

Only “random” removal ive seen is if you get downed even once. and 2nd part if chive is still there after boss, you did not damage boss ( hit em when his shield is down) , thats the 2 ive noticed few times when doing it. apart from that i haven’t noticed anything else.

Precursor crafting has been discussed for a long time now and i think i never saw an argument against using a token being awarded from completing the personal story.
The same goes for a token that is awarded via Achievement chests, every 5-10k points.
So i think both should be required in crafting it, if we want to put a reasonable time gate on precursor supply

Could always introduce Time gated method using Tokens added into reward or some other (new content) with relatively low but reasonable chance similar to fractal token method to redeem receipt to craft soulbound Precursor

50 – 100 + (1 per day )tokens would be long enough id guess for receipt ( considering new Mats are introduced some time gate some content based)

It would still take a life time to make and people who love to farm / grind / mf can still gamble for faster precursor but it would give option to people who don’t play 24/7 and farm like mad to get chance for legendary.

Just an thought tho

It’s funny to see people take things so seriously nowadays….
Ive done multiple runs with all kinda people 3 hour arah runs including due to new peoples thats what we call in LFG for “lulz and giggles” and that’s what it is mainly It’s simply way more fun doing things when you need to try harder rather than stack in 1 place 25 stacks of might and dps tho thats just my opinion.

weirdly so much easier than last time almost felt like its been nerfed times x100 xD

They could just remove food & utility from WvW and leave it as it is in PvE and guess everyone would be happy then ?

I believe it only awards it once per day or something i got one last time we did the event within the time frame

It’s Fairly nice event but i guess the biggest problem is the “afkers” everytime ive tryed it on my own server there’s usually 20 if not more afk taking spots from active people and spawning champs making things complicated, it would be lot easier to do if afk timer would be reduced to 5 min, ive done it few time and waited countless hours to get last 2 achievements that i find hard to do with all bloody afkers near turrets. It’s simply stupid to have over 30min afk timer on such area, i love hard content but i hate when it becomes broken glass up the kitten cuz of some people >.>

a guild to kill em :o well thats a creative way to get it done any room left haha

That would be amazing. I wouldn’t have to do arah story in extremely bad pugs every time i level another character to 80! Still need to do arah story 3 more times on new alts currently.

Story mode’s are Easy as hell it’s a fact we all know very well but time consuming as probably mentioned many times. But dunno.. If they are going to add new items to craft precursor or armor.. might as well bound specific "X "amount of mats to specific dungeon story mode per day reward system i mean we already collect tokens from dungeons for gift.. might as well do story mode for that specific mats for the heck of it.

But.. meh i doubt they will do anything or maybe in half year… sorry Ive lost my faith into positive updates :l

Due to time limit DPS is best solution but it still needs some skill on 1 shot bosses mainly to dodge, sure theres plenty of bugs on new content always.

Last boss offers good challenge even for zerker but ive watched many of my guildys fail on lower tiers many times until they actually started to think on builds and tactics and started to succeed – auto revive function would have been fair to have >.> and cut the armor repair costs xD

Actually loved it, All bosses until the Liadra we’re walk in the park using Full Zerker Mesmer got stuck on Liadra for 65 attemps due to trying same tactic all the time xD and without endurance regen food but after that it went smooth ( as soon lag stopped)

It’s one of the challenging “Event” ive seen so far that actually forced to think a bit on tactics and traits to suit the battle really hope more stuff like that to appear more often.

1g – 1.5 would be bit better considering some story modes can take a moment… like arah meh once a life time thing like many others.. just not worth the time and trouble.. unless its for DM title.

People who run p4 are mostly hard core players or people wanting the dungeon master title, or they want the tokens, that’s why PUGS in p4 will mostly contain new timers, I recently pugged arah p4 and I was lucky, team composition was 4 warriors and 1 guardian, simin was easy enough, took us a little bit over than 2 hours, mostly because I suggested to melee lupi when 3 of the party members had ap less than 2k, and melandru can be a pain in the kitten sometimes, 2 of the pugs were first timers though, I think run could’ve been 90 minutes if we didn’t try to melee lupi or take that long in getting to melandru, stupid gorillas…
As for arah p1, only hard part is skipping mobs, getting from ancient ooze to ghost champion, if first timers followed what experts say everything would become much better.

That’s why for Most arah groups people take only Experienced players
It can be Nightmare to find group for people who never done the paths and lack ability in skipping or get stuck on lupi or even Simin in p4 ( from poor dps & slow luring)

But if you consider doing Arah like it was supposed to be done ( or so i think it was assumed to be done) with 0 skipping each paths time increases by quite some. and wondering if the 3G is equal Vs time & difficulty from point of view on avg player. but as they said they will update rewards in time.

Champs still aren’t going to be worth the time.

Agreed most will be skipped anyhow if the mats reward are equal to champs lvl.

But if Spiders etc in Temple events might provide bit extra but not so much to make an actual difference.

I really Hope SCALE system of events will be adjusted i would hate to see 50 ppl hunting a champ with high scales for small reward xD or 10s and 1 crystal lode , reminds of champ illusion on lyssa on high scale

As much i hate to loose cof farm i mean come on making 50g a day on fair runs ain’t bad considering Stuffs prices etc, i got 2k tokens from all dungeons they are all kitten easy to do but why bother with them if Cof is few min run and 1g per run.

But thing is that Apart from CoE and CoF no other dungeon offers you fair reward against time spent really.

After update yeah we cof farmers gonna have to run other stuff often, i just hoped rewards for Long paths would have been more better or least improved drops on chests due to Long paths like SE P2 and Arah P4 – From a View of Normal player since.

And please stop being trolls toward cof farmers there are plenty of skilled ones who knows dungeons well

True not much can be done about it really even tho chance on rare mats on champs is a “chance” and we all know how good it is already if it even effects dungeon champs and how many mats would you get? 1 vile essence (considered as rare mat )

As long they evaluate reward vs difficulty and time spent “normally” with 0 skipping it would be great but most likely not.

I would like the update if i would not have to farm for gift of fortune & rune stones due to costs but now it might just throw me back few weeks

but oh well hope for the best expect for the worst

Most likely to be honest but if champs still give chest after repeated kills its still possible to farm for mats unless ofc nerfed but Coe gives charged cores and lodes so it wount effect much in the end i guess

Personally as Cof farmer XD 1g per run +loot 5-6min per run sure its boring as hell but.. its fast

and im gonna miss that alot tbh since cof tokens and gold ive got from there really helped me toward legendary

I would suggest you try Path 4 it’s easiest path there is to be honest ( apart from path 3 what is very short ), i did p4 few weeks ago thinking its hard etc etc with first timers under 1h30min. Path 4 is good because its simple and does not contain hard skipping like Path 1 for example. ive done all paths multiple times including P4 love it
