Just bought it. Thx
Do you think it worth the 500 gems to upgrade to Deluxe?
I m all for it!!!
It would be nice to have as a casual/social activioty.
GW2 is one of the most social, casual and friendly MMO’s out there, but the total lack of social options within the game is a bit meh. Would be nice to see some social systems added at some point
Yes, that’s what i m talking about. A nice, relaxing casual activity which combined with some sort of tournaments may give some fluff rewards. No new professions, no new cooking materials, not anything like that. Just a fun activity.
I personally would love all of the OPs suggestions as well as a +1 to a consumable hotbar slot.
It will be also a nice addition.
I just wonder if its that hard to get a Dev answer. At least not for every option suggested in this thread, but rather a general response about the UI in HoT.
Does that mean on sale or leaving the gem store? It would be insane to remove them after a day – ppl can’t be expected to login everyday to know about these things.
Thats what we are asking for. An answer if after the sale period will be removed from TP or remain in a higher price. We need a Dev answer, no speculations…
After the sale period Wings will get withdrawn from TP or remain in a higher price?

I never used sweetfx before. Is it easy to use? Am i going to have any fps raise? Thank you.
Some nice ideas in there.
Yes but i guess Devs are not sharing the same opinion or they dont feel the need even to give an answer about them…
The real question is why isnt such an option already in the game…
I will agree that no weapon switching will be a main reason for me to roll a Revenant.
It would be more useful if we would get a Dev answer
1. Separate On / Off names for Npc’s, Vendors & Quest Npc,s
2. Separate On / Off names for players, party, guildmates, friends, minions, miniatures
3. Separate On / Off names for hostile, neutral mobs
4. On / Off HP bar for all the above
5. Separate Self On / Off for name, minions, HP bars
6. Separate Animation Quality Option for self, players, mobs
7. Option to Show Only Your Conditions On mobs
8. Separate Char Limit / Quality option for self, other players
9. Separate Sound option for self, other players skills
10. Skillbar Shortcut for Food
11. Move / Resize Target Frame
12. On – Off Skills/Heal/Utilities/Elite Tooltip Description with mouse over
13. Show / Hide Daily Quest Tracker
I’m not sure if this was suggested before, but it’ll be great if the skillbar includes a shortcut for food. The space right beside the elite skill will be good because it synchronizes with the switch weapon button on the left side. Just my 2cent.
No, it was not suggested, but its a very nice idea. I ll put it in the list
Option to turn On – Off Skills/heal/utilities/elite Tooltip Description with mouse over
Very important imho
+1
Agree
+2
A proper DPS meter would actually show how bad stacking warriors is.
A proper DPS meter wouldn’t just show how much damage your character is dealing. It would show how much offensive support you give, how much defensive support you give, how much control you give and so on.
I m all for a proper DPS meter
New camera options are great! Now i hope for some more UI options like:
10. Moving / Resizing of Target Frame
11. On – Off Skills / Heal / Utilities / Elite Tooltip Description with mouse over
We already have fishing. Get weapons, jump in water, kill giant fish, receive loot.
What we’ve done away with is the boring poles, lures, waiting, and small fish.
Once again…
I m talking about fishing and you are talking about underwater combat…Plus as i mentioned already, it can be implemented as a very fun, challenging and rewarding activity, where you can spend your time by unlocking achievements & records, participate in contests and tournaments, unlock underwater gear/weapon/fishing pole skins, obtain aquatic miniatures etc.
Btw where is the problem? Its not about mats, gear, progression or anything like that. Its only about fun. If someone doesn’t like fishing just skip it. Let those who likes it have fun.
It is quite possible. We do know that Stability changes are “closer than we think” at the very least. It is also possible that the Personal Story fix will be ready and pushed to live by then.
Don’t think we will see a build saver or such though, at least not unless we hear anything about it soon.
And what they mean with Stability changes?
yeah GvG fishing wars.. sounds like a plan ANET!
On a side note.. I agree GW2 has some of the best underwater scenery and animations that I have come across in spanning over 10years of MMO’s, but sadly it also seems to be just that…scenery. It seems to have been nothing but a passing thought of a developer once upon a time but never went any further than “that looks pretty amaz… well pretty”
You never know
Why do we need fishing poles when our characters can dive in the water and attack them with a Harpoon Gun/Spear/Trident?
Just make more fish-based loot out of Barracudas if you want the chef materials so bad!
I m talking about fishing and you are talking about underwater combat…Plus as i mentioned above its not about mats or another gathering profession, but as a very fun, challenging and rewarding activity.
For those who say we don’t need another gathering profession: I didn’t said GW2 should implement fishing as another gathering method.
If its not possible or disliked by the majority of players, i could accept fishing as a fun only activity, where you can spend your time by unlocking achievements & records, participate in contests and tournaments, unlock underwater gear/weapon skins, obtain aquatic miniatures etc. This imho wont hurt anyone

FFXIV got the best fishing imho
So after almost 3 years the time hasn’t come yet?
GW2 has maybe the most beautiful underwater world & combat, the best swimming animations and the best watery scenery in general, in any mmo i can think.
So why not having fishing? It would be great imho and its a <default> option for the majority of mmo’s anymore.
Thank you.
*EDIT
I m not suggesting GW2 should implement fishing as another gathering method.

9. Separate Sound option for self, other players skillsNice points. I wish we have a Dev answer on this.
I wish for it a long time now
Thx Rattex Already checked that but i prefer playing with minions, so i guess i ll go with BlackIsleDragon’s suggestions and use Berserker gear. Tbh playing with it the last few days i find it really comfortable and enjoyable build, at least for open world content.
I’d personally just go with berserker gear, so you can switch to dps build quick and easy if needed.
And what about runes?
We cant compare GW2 with mmo’s we WISH to exist but only with the ones that already exist. Keeping that in mind lets make a comparison with a giant mmo, WoW.
WoW offers as endgame:
1. Dungeons which lasts 5 mins and all of them are run and AoE.
2. Raids that except mythic mode offers no challenge and you do the same one every week.
3. Gear with ilvl that can be also bought through AH and lasts a few days / weeks.
4. The same old BG’s & Arenas, as WoD didnt add any new ones.
5. Garrisons, a facebook instanced minigame which ends at lvl 3 and you only send followers doing missions. It also helped even more to empty open world from ppl as almost every one is in garrisons.
6. Mounts / Pets & Pet Battles
7. 1 weekly world boss. 5 mins zerg / week
8. Achievements
Thats what a !!!P2P!!! game, played by almost 10m offers. Almost the same offers any other WoW clone, like Rift, SWTOR, WS etc. If you like it more than what GW2 offers its ok, but tbh it doesnt offer much, despite you pay for it every month…
At least in GW2 other than content itself, you have nice combat, professions & crafting, world exploration, open world content, superb graphics engine & graphics/animations, marvelous areas etc and you are not forced to pay for anything.
Its up to anyone tastes in the end

Still looking for a Dev answer
Yes it helps a lot, thank you

I just got to lvl 80 using Staff and Minions. Having a fast look in various forums i can see that Dagger is a <must> for Necros. Is there any viable Staff + Minions or at least Staff only build?
I could also use a Scepter instead of Staff, as in general i want to play Necro more like a caster.
I play mostly PvE content and i m planning also to do many Dungeon runs. Thank you.

I would appreciate very much a dev answer about UI changes / additions in HoT
Any info if any of those additions will be in the expansion, or if there will be any UI additions/changes in HoT?
