So Im in a CoF group. All of a sudden our group disappears. Everyoneis still in the instance but we’re not in a group.

I try to relog by going to the character select screen, however, I can’t log back in. I can click on a character but it just sits there.

So I restart the entire game and now I can’t log back in at all.

What’s going on? Because it’s not on my connection, PC or account.

Simple answer:

You play the game your way. I’ll play it mine.

I don’t even think its as complicated as most of you are making this out to be. It has nothing to do with nerfed skills, useless classes, dps meters or whatever else.

The OP is complaining about what he was told by 1 person who didn’t want an engineer in his group. If I did that just based on some of the absolutely absurd demands/comments I see in LFG.com I would never play the game, I’d spend all my time making posts like this.

So someone didn’t want your class in his group for whatever reason, whether founded or unfounded. I had someone give me crap, in a group, because I didn’t have at least 15 AR for a FotM 10 run. When I told him 10 AR is more than sufficient for level 10, I was called a noob and removed from the group.

Not a single moment of sleep was lost that night.

You’re gonna run into them.

Get over it and move on.

Can’t please everyone. I personally never did a monthly until now because I don’t particularly enjoy PVP anymore. Dungeons on the other hand? I can rip through that part of the Monthly in about an hour with CoF speed runs.

I just recently had an Abyss dye drop for me, the day after I had Black dye drop. Used them both. I like the way Abyss dye looks.

20g can easily be made while dungeon farming. I’ve made half that in about a day of doing CoF runs.

If you like the way something looks, don’t feel compelled to sell it, theres other ways to make gold.

Am I missing something? The tonics are not the actual mini, correct? To make the 2 minis using the cogs, that’s 100% guaranteed from the mystic forge, right?

If so, what exactly do the tonics do?

I’m starting to get the impression that Anet is trying to employ the “TSA” approach to combating gold farmers.

It doesn’t work there and its NOT working here. With no LFG feature, which completely blows my mind how its not a launch feature in every MMO at this point (did the devs learn anything from the woes of SWTOR?), you can’t also have people suppressed after, what?, 5 messages? while trying to form their groups in chat. It’s absolutely absurd.

Additionally, and on a similar note, suppressing the mail, in the same fashion, when that’s the only form of trading with someone, is another head scratching move, that makes me wonder if Anet really knows what it’s doing.

Nothing you have done to combat gold farmers/spamming has done anything other than anger your loyal fanbase. The farmers are still there doing their thing.

Please try something else.

Can someone enlighten me as to how you make 80s – 1.30g in 30 minutes? Even if it’s only once a day, that’s better than what I’m apparently doing now.

1. Yep Elementals definitely deal damage. In other news the sky is blue and water is wet. No one has said they don’t deal damage, they just dont deal competitive damage and have to work 10 times harder than every other class to reach marginal returns.

2. I can take an ambiguous screen shot with me in 1 attunement and then say “LOOK! I just did all this damage in 1 attunement! Ele is fine.” That proves nothing.

3. You’re just a flat out liar or a troll. You pressed a few buttons on 1 mob and managed to kill him before he killed you? I see you conveniently waited until your health pool was back up to full before you took your screenshot. Was that to avoid showing us that you were probably at close to 0 health left at the end of combat 1v1? What happens when the next mob comes and 3 of those “few buttons” you pressed are still on CD and and you’re still standing still?

After typing all this, I’m 100% sure you’re just a troll.

Simple fix imo. Change the overal mechanic. Instead of “riding” along the ground, “teleport to the target” or “leap to the target”

Quite honestly, I don’t even know how this is still an issue after WoW took how many years to fix Blink?
