Hello, this is Mayoken , commander of [CaLM] on SBI. I’ve read the last few pages and some of what I have been reading is the same nonsense you will find in these sort of posts by an insignificant representation of the general SBI mentality. When Before The Storm is in WvW with Cosian from SENT , or Jedbacca from SF, or Cohh from CRNG, or Culebra from UDL, we do take advantage of every opportunity we can attain in WvW to gain the upper hand.

If you think for a second that we do not double team intentionally then you are wrong.
As long as SBI is not cheating all tactics are valid.

When I see a BG Keep being attacked by JQ in the South, I’m going to push my guild in from the north to minimize the defenses BG has for its keep or to block reinforcements. These are all valid tactics and the commanders behind them are using their brains. Speaking of tactics, none of us were ready for BG turtle, the commanders on SBI had multiple conversations and check-ins to discuss counters, good move BG.

I’m very proud of how far SBI has come and that [CaLM] has been here since Day 1. We’ve bounced back and claimed victory in Tier 1 two weeks in a row. Let’s keep it up for this upcoming week. Cheers, see you on the battlefield!

As Thursday begins the 2nd to last day fighting CD and YB begins. It’s definitely been an interesting week and I’ve learned a few more tactics from you guys as I’ve watched you play. On [CO]‘s behalf I would like to apologize you about this “unfair” competition. If we were in your shoes it wouldn’t be too much fun either. I was reading up on the Prince Jarvan death sentencing and I want you to know RISE and CO are friends. We share our Teamspeak with them. As fun as your bounty was, I promise you KoMe, I’m coming for you and will kill you, my hammer through your skull, and your rotting corpse at my feet >:D

Who cares who loses and who wins. There are NO REWARDS.
Enjoy the good fights. After some point you won’t give a crap about who wins or losses. I think most hardcore players feel the same way.

I think there’s a lot of really good commanders out there across a lot of servers. On Kaineng right now (forgive me if I leave out a few and I won’t vouch for myself) I believe the following are very skilled:

Prince Jarvan [RISE]
Sparkidious [RISE] (reputation built while commanding for RISE) but now in [CO]
Fencehopper [RISE]
Dekar [CO] – really tough headed and molds any army into an effective one
Sarabi [CO] – puts in an extreme amount of time into WvW and Kaineng.
Phill [Meow] – he is pretty good and puts lots of time in the off hours
Jang Gun [WM] – always brought an effective team to the field
Ethersin [RE] – very effective and skilled.
Kiriasura [RE] – verry funny to play with. He’s good too.

Oops. My food is here. Gotta eat. There’s plenty more left out ill edit this when I get home. Overall Kaineng is very skilled.

We could GvG since the mumble crowd is basically one giant guild anyway. Just handpick 15 players or whatever.

What I’m not going to do is burn out any longer doing ridiculous 12 hour defense against endless waves of Kaineng players only to leave and make a sandwich, come back and find Kaineng on East Keep Lord Room. Its just stupid. Theres always 50+ Kaineng players in our borderland, every minute of every hour of every day this weekend.

Yeah sure I’m down for a 20v20.
Here just mail me in-game and I’ll contact you later tonight.

We can either have a Sunday night-fight. Or, we can fight during the week.
This isn’t for reputation or glory, just want to add some extra spice to the game.

Ok so i just logged in and my TWILIGHT LEGENDARY SWORD became a EXOTIC GREATWORD WITH THE TWILIGHT SKIN.

just this morning i had twilight now i see Berserker’s pearl broadsword of the night.

Seriously i have farmed months for my legendary and you turn it into some cheap exotic???? please fix this fast!!!!

Alright so I mean this in the nicest way but its getting pretty annoying seeing 3-4 threads a week pop up about Kaineng and everyone posting about saving the server and how great it is etc. I’m pretty sure a lot of other players on these forums agree with me when they say after reading the 10th thread on Kaineng it gets annoying.

Summing it up, I wish you guys good luck. My experience with Kaineng is that not enough people care about the WvW seen, enough. Those that do care and want to be part of the organization, etc, are the ones you find registered on Kaineng United and on Teamspeak when they do WvW.

I feel your pain and I know how hard it is to do what you and CHIPS are trying to do. I helped admin WM Teamspeak when it was up, contributed to every server meeting, brought guilds to Kaineng and integrated them on the Teamspeak and lastly created the first server official forums and helped on Kaineng United as my stay on Kaineng came to a close. If Kaineng resisted back then, in my honest opinion I ask, what chance does it stand now?

60% of the WvW community contributes.
30% resists and fights against organization.
10% just have no idea what’s going on.

Those that somewhat care about WvW are unwilling to take the extra step to go out of their way to help form a solid community. Just my opinion.

Maybe you should have taken that into consideration when you transferred.

As I said, I wasn’t going to let CO die on Kaineng. Even the last guild, RE on Kaineng is getting tired of holding up the server and WvW for long hours. No other server appeale to us after many meetings with diff reps and our scout reports lol. We didn’t go to DB to roll T2 because we didn’t know we would. We went for their unique community.

What’s in your wallet?

Good thing about RE, is that CO has strong synergy with you guys and we’ve worked the feel together a lot. Besides that, our members are alike each other. It would be nice to have our friends back fighting alongside us once more until the end. With the new match up system, fights won’t be stagnant and we’ll face different hordes of enemies each week which will keep us fresh and excited.

The NA forces on DB can hold their own and measure up against the current T2 stand off. We don’t have FULL NA coverage yet because we are 20% weaker during the 5pm-7pm EST time slot. Most NA guilds on Dragonbrand that WvW daily mainly start their raids at 8-9pm EST. I know you guys like to kick it off around 7-8 EST which is perfect.

The NA fights to about 1-2am EST every night and then our Oceanics take over, and hold a decent tick until 8am and we start ticking 300-350 PPT for 4-5 hours.

Idk if I saw 500-600 PPT on enemy tick I would rally the server and defeat the enemy. I would not just take it in the rear and cry -__-

Hi, im the founder and Head GM of CO. Just to make an official statement from Cryptic Omen [CO] to the public we’d like to say the following:

- We loved Kaineng. We came to it willingly. Helped build the Teamspeak by promoting and founded the first server forums then later worked with Babui on founding Kaineng United.

- Fought for Kaineng every night of the week since Tier 6 and have had a rep in every server meeting for the last 3-4 months.

- We’ve enjoyed the underdog role and proving the might of Kaineng as we’ve RISE’d through the tiers. Many doubted we’d ever make it to Tier 2 to begin with…and then we won Tier 2 and felt really good about it.

- CO’s transfer is by no means influenced by any other guilds behavior or potential transfer. Our decision to leave Kaineng and find a new home was solely based on the well-being of my guild and safe keeping its future.

- CO is undecided about which server we’ll be transferring to. The only options on the table our NA Tier 2 or higher. This will be our last move. We will not move again due to many reasons (financial, morals, exhausted). Our decision will be announced May 1st.

Lastly, it’s been a pleasure fighting everyone and sharing experiences and laughing about fond memories. We’ve always tried to respect our opponents and give credit to Kaineng when they’ve worked hard together. To all the guilds and individuals that have contributed to Kaineng’s success and CO’s, I wanted to send my deepest thanks for helping us become the guild we’ve become.

SOR had a good ride with IRON when they 1st came to SOR.
WHY cry now? cause SOR cant get easy PPT on EU timezone anymore? <—Very TRUE.

Just last week, SOR was like BG sux, BG no longer T1 server.

Hey. I’m the leader of CO. I read the last two pages of these forums and rest assured that sort of behavior does not fly in CO. I’m sure each guild and server has had one bad duck in its midst or a player that wants to “screw” around a little one day when they know they shouldn’t. The matter from TC Borderlands has been resolved and that player has been removed from our guild.

Hopefully, TC can be at peace with that. Great fights this weeks and even though Kaineng is struggling to keep up in the PPT we will continue to fight strong and not give up!!!! Rock on guys.

I wouldn’t say Dragonbrand is riding on its transfers. The server was very strong before any of us came here and they got to Tier 2 on their own. The SEA, EU, and Oceanic coverage on DB was stable before any xfers switched. We simply doubled the NA force and work in conjunction with the native guilds here.

It’s beautiful that they are so welcome.

Just to add on, I’ve spoken to many of the NA guilds and we are all experiencing a 30% decrease in WvW participation within our guild due to time commitments while balancing studying for college finals. I know I have all my finals May 10-16. So, my point I guess is that Dragonbrand is putting out maybe a 60% effort right now in WvW to be very honest. I love TC and FA though. I know I’ve talked to both servers so you guys do know me especially after fighting for 7 weeks on Kaineng xD.

I just wish the fights were amazing everyday not just 3-4 days of the matchup. Although finals and different server WvW culture is understandable.

I won’t make this a long post like the other servers. It’s quite simple.

If you want a server that has the most potential to grow, I still think its Kaineng.
Forget about SoS, Blackgate, SoR, and JQ. Those are already established servers.

If your guild wants a new fresh start, or a change of pace, consider Kaineng.

I’ll be quite honest. Our NA was weak at first (2 months ago) and we’ve been developing it over the last six weeks with strong teamwork and coordination between many of the NA guilds (too many to list here). Our EU time slot is very weak. I would say that Kaineng has 0 EU guilds. So, we’re looking for European guilds to come help out as well, you won’t have any queue times and you’ll have plenty of competition. During our oceanic hours, we’re very strong and some hours of the day we have queue. So far there is nobody in Tier 2 that can combat our Oceanic forces. This includes WM, KOR, and many others that stay up and fight including our AUS forces and Ph.

So here is what we are looking for.

Meet all of these Requirements:

- Size: We don’t care how small or big you are!

- Playstyle: We don’t care if you are casual, semi-hardcore or hardcore. As long as you are dedicated to WvW and you won’t quit when the fighting gets tough, come here.

- Attitude: Work together with others. Be positive. Stay approachable. Keep the ego down, earn the respect on the battlefield.

- Cross – Guild Cohesiveness : No guild will tell you what to do. There are no alliances or guilds on the server that will dictate your move or sway you in one direction.

- Language : As many know, Kaineng is a multi-cultural and international server. We have players from over 30 countries and many guilds speak different languages, although you will find no shortage of english-speaking players around you.

I wanted to give a shout out to all major guilds on BG and TC (too many to list here). Being on Kaineng since T6 it’s finally refreshing to have good competition that drives CO to practice over and over to fight some of your strategies. We are learning a lot from how Agg/FoE/GoF/iCoa run things and how PINK runs things. We know we are a new name in WvW amongst all the longer established guilds but we are no strangers.

Thank you again and when you see us on the battlefield next time, bow, and fight to the death!

RISE and CO were in EB BG most of tonight. Good fights to everyone our there. Hope you remember us and come back with a vengeance tomorrow night

To be honest, I don’t care about Tier 1. I think I speak for Kaineng when I say that nobody in the server does want to go to Tier 1. We are happy in Tier 2 and the fighting is a lot more competitive here. We like fighting Blackgate and TC. Soon to be our new rival, Fort Aspenwood as well.

Kaineng is a beautiful place and a lot of the guilds here communicate with each other and are very friendly. All the WvW transfer guilds (CO/RUN/TL/KO/RISE/etc.) work well with the native players & guilds on the server. If anything we’ve tried building server unity with upcoming server VoIP which just got set up a few days ago and building a community server forums (www.kainengserver.com). The server had neither before T1-3 guilds transferred into Kaineng about 1.5 months ago.

We’ve been on the server for almost 2 months now. So, I think most people would agree we’ve fought for Kaineng and have the right to call it our home as well. It’s beautiful because nobody on Kaineng wants to leave it and everyone who has moved here has grown fond of it. Thanks for the good questions, happy to answer them.

In reference to Isaac.6041 – We don’t believe we should buy any guilds. If a guild would like to look for another home and transfer they should raise the funds to do so themselves. There is a certain lack of respect for servers that “buy” other guilds. Sure there are many, many rumors out their that other servers are doing it. So let them if it is true. We choose to be different.
