With the upcoming season final, wouldnt it be a good idea to bring back the tournament finishers, which is another item that has been sealed away for a very long time?

And that is exactly what I am saying, for Primordial to work like that Amber would need to count as a division cross. Amber does not count as a division cross currently. You’re ignoring the fact that Primordial Legend is itself an achievement. Just looking at it it says 0/6 divisions crossed.

I am bringing up the ascension achievement because in essence these 2 are the exact same thing. Both achievements measure division crosses, only one broken up into different tiers. Where ascension is concerned Amber is NOT considered a division cross, so it would go to follow that it does not count for Primordial Legend as well and being Amber is the first division then Primordial legend would be unable to even be started as 1/6 on the way to legendary. I’m pointing this out as the possible cause of the bug that is preventing people from getting Primordial when they hit legendary rank.

What I’m seeking clarity on is in fact if Amber is supposed to count as a division cross(and based on what they say, it is) for Primordial, if it is then Ascension is also bugged in that respect.

Yes, we know what you mean. It should say 5 division crossed instead of 6. But no this is not the bug since the players who recently achieved legendary (after the update) got the title. And people who were in legendary 2 for example and who also have the league champion achievement completed did NOT receive the title.

Anyway, just wait till they fix it.

And this is where confusion is setting in. Josh’s post says you get it for entering legendary initially meaning as soon as you get the badge. For that to count as 6 division crosses Amber would need to count as a division cross itself, which it does not. 6 division crosses going by the ascension achievement(why would it be a division cross for 1 but not the other) is legendary x2(meaning you get your badge then get 1 more tier). So which is it, 6 division crosses currently meaning x2 or is it supposed to be when you get legendary meaning amber should count as a division cross.

It is when you ENTER legendary (x1). You based your 6 division crossings on an achievement description. The when you ENTER legendary is based on what Anet TOLD us and what they STATED when they released the PvP leagues. I hope this clears it up. (My support ticket also confirmed this).

If its true that hitting legendary is supposed to be the trigger then something is wrong. From what I recall Amber division does not count as a division cross for the ascension achievement. You gave the title to people that had achieved the League Champion achievement and to do that currently you need Legendary x2. Someone with a better memory correct me if I am wrong but that points to the issue being amber.

You are indeed wrong, your reasoning is based on an achievement. While we are basing it on what Anet told us. When they released the PvP leagues they stated that when you reach legendary you will get a title for it. Then Anet dev also told us that you will get it when you reach legend (x1). And that it is indeed bugged. Now after this “fix” I sent another mail to anet asking what happend. They replied that it is still bugged and that they will fix it.

Another huge tip to get to legendary: Just draw rotations on the map and typ in team chat. Most of the people throw games because of bad rotations and trying to 3 cap 24/7…

This idea is the most ridiculous thing I have read on the GW2 forums. You are trying to make this game pay 2 win ? Most people play this game over some other variant which we should not call by name because of no subscription etc.

Making this game p2w + make us pay subscriptions is really pathetic. Then they also need to delete the gemstore which I guess makes more money than 10dollars/month.

I made it to diamond by playing soloqueue as a reaper.
Just by trying to win all your 1v1s and trying to make most of the calls.
Also just tryharding + drawing everything on the minimap.

Never had more than 4 losses in a row I guess. The last 7 pips took like 25+ games I guess which was a pain..

Is it normal that the effect of nightfury (the batwings) dissapear after a time?
Encoutering this when just running around. Mostly in WvW..

-endless batwing brew
-vision crystal
-(Bat wing + 250 Glacial lodestone + 250 Vials of linseed oil + Vial of green goo)

Has anyone tried the Gift of Zhaitan https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gift_of_Zhaitan ? After all, the Night Fury is known as the “the unholy offspring of Lightning and Death itself” and Zhaitan is the Elder Dragon with the aspect of Death. Other items related to Death could also apply, like Final Rest http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Final_Rest for example. I know it can be argued that the Gift of Darkness is one such item, but Darkness could be linked to the Night Fury’s colour.

Tried both gift of zhaitan + offering of zhaitan, both unforgeable..

When Hiccup looks into the Book of Dragons after the first day of training, and notices the page with the information about the nightfury. He had this to say “The holy offspring of lighting and death itself.” Therefore the missing part has to be the Gift of Lighting, the the Gift of Darkness on the next part of the recipe.
Can not try it myself but there is a clue for someone that can.

Gift of darkness is already in the recipe. Gift of lightning is not working.

Yes the heavy is on your feet. The light and medium are shoulder pieces and it fits perfectly. The only problem is that we do not know where to get it if it is ingame yet… Thats why we want some confirmation that we are not wasting our time..

After a whole weekend of testing, throwing gold around on random items etc we have still not found the full recipe.
Just before we keep spending more and more money can you actually confirm that you can make Nightfury at this moment. Or are there still items that are needed for the recipe not available yet ingame? (For example gyre of madness?)

At the moment we have the following recipe:
-Gift of darkness
-Endless bottle of batwing brew
-Vision crystal.

Then the last item is probbaly bat wing + linseed oil + glacial lodestone + ?

We have no idea what the ? is and are pretty much out of ideas. Are you sure that the last item is actually obtainable? I hope that we will hear from you so we can continue our search with a new portion of motivation.

I do not think that reaper needs to get nerfed at all. It trades its range abilities for melee ones.

And no, staff doesnt count as damage. It is just a matter of time to learn how to counter the specialisations.

Well, games are almost never translated to Dutch. For the simple reason: Its not worth the time.

Almost everyone who can speak Dutch can also speak English. So it is not worth it to spend tons of money just to translate it to Dutch for only a very small amount of people.
