I checked your thesis, and you’re right.
So I guess that Ketto’s armor is just a mash up of various npc custom armor parts, which seem to be unavailable for player characters.

Too bad. Nevertheless, I hope that this armor will be purchasable in the future. Otherwise, it’d be a waste of the artist’s work.

Yea of course, my bad with the missing pic. Thanks for posting it and also for taking your time to look for the armor.

Within that lab where Ketto is located, he is surrounded by npcs with familiar armors. This makes me believe that Ketto’s must be available too^^.

Maybe there’s still someone out there who may recognize it. It could be some sort of gem shop armor or similar…

Hi everyone,

I’d like to know whether the armor of the npc Ketto is available as equipment for regular characters.

(Ketto is the asura seen in the cutscene when completing the SAB achievement special instruction. He’s the one standing in the middle of the machine and is apart from the cutscene standing right next to that lab in Rata Sum all the time.)

I really like the style of that armor pretty much, but I personally was unable to find it in-game yet. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Leaderboards Have Been Released!

I really like the idea of leaderboards, but there’s still one minor thing I would really like to have, which is still missing. That would be the leaderboard for the jumping puzzles based on events like halloween or wintersday.

I’m pretty much into jumping puzzles and a leaderboard for these things, such as the leaderboard for the bug-race in GW1 where the overall time was measured, would make me very happy
Maybe I’m not the only one to be asking for such a thing. Couldn’t find any others yet, so sorry for a misplaced post in that case.

[Bug] WvW - Tower/Garrison Bounds

I experienced the following:

I was standing on the wall of a tower in WvW, jumping towards the outer bounds of the tower but after jumping I landed inside the tower once again.
This happened to me multiple times already, though I can’t exactly tell you whether it happens on specific towers or not. It also happened to me on the northern garrison on the “Eternal Battlegrounds” map yesterday.

So this might be a problem already, but a greater menace is the fact that it occurs the other way round also. So when I stand on the tower’s wall and clearly jump towards the inside of the tower I land outside of the tower right next to the wall, forced to use the gate to get back in once again.
That could be a severe problem when the tower is under massive attack and you just land right in the middle of the enemy crowd accidently.
When this happens the normal falling animation is not performed, but you get kinda teleported immediately to the ground next to the wall, whether it is inside or outside the tower.

Unfortunately I can’t reproduce this bug . It happens sometimes (definately more than 5 times already) but most of the time everything is fine.
One thing that I can mention is, that I think I was standing very close to the tower’s gate when running towards the wall’s border. This might be the scenario causing the bug.
Maybe someone else also experienced this, who could explain the circumstances in more detail, so feel free to add some information.

EDIT:
I experienced it once again yesterday on mendon’s tower at the eternal battlegrounds, ankittenpt a closer look on it this time.
It happens when you jump off the wall exactly above the colored gate that allows access to the team holding the tower, which makes kind of sense.
I nevertheless think it’s a problem, because normally when you jump you would land far away from that gate, but with the problem I mentioned you ain’t got the chance to jump that far, as you get “teleported” as soon as you leave the wall’s border (still on top of it). So you may still get accidently taken to the wrong side of the tower.

yea I have exactly the same problem as you, and I know of another person who has it also.
Made the 100k and the day after just “???”.
Would be cool if that bug could be fixed till the end of the month without the loss of its progress.

Does anyone know its your Windows 7 and/or vista User Account Control settings may be at fault? You can find it and , mess with it in Control Panel>User Accounts. Just turn it off and you will have no more problems.

I tried that already… unfortunately this doesn’t fix it for me. But it obviously does for some people, as I’ve seen some replies on this before.

For everyone who:

- Tries to open the trading post, remotely or on site of the NPC, and don’t see anything on any tabs of it (sell/buy/pick up etc etc);
- Can only buy gems and other stuff but can’t sell;
- Can only see what are the top items tab;
- Can’t see any items on the “Sell Stuff” tab that exist on his/hers inventory and can’t sell anything;
- Other random issues that are related to the Trading Post but not mentioned above;

Then try this, I did it 2 days ago and it worked:

1 – Go to the options menu, go to the 1st tab if I recall correctly, and change the language of the text. English to Spanish, Spanish to French, German to English…it doesn’t matter;

2 – Go to the options menu, go to last tab if I recall correctly, check what is the key attributed to the action “Toggle Language”. It should be near the end of the list and by default I think it’s the Right Ctrl Key;

3 – Close the option menu;

4 – Open the Trading Post;

5 – Choose one of the existing tabs and then press the key to “Toggle Language”. Try to hit the key, choose another tab on the Trading Post, hit the key again and see if it works at any time and you have your old Trading Post menu working. You should see the names of the items, menus and even quests change. Don’t worry;

6 – If your issue was something like mine, it should be working now. You only need to revert the options on the menu and no more need to press “Toggle Language”;

7 – If you close the client and relog, you might get the same little issue. I know it’s not perfect but until the tech team figures out what is wrong, it’s the best one can do about it;

8 – If it doesn’t solve your specific issue, don’t give up.

It didnt’t fix my issue (I still can’t see anything and there has never been a change so far) but thx for the post anyway… this seems to be the only reliable method to reload the trading post in-game.

I’m using Vista (sue me) and I had the problem where I would open the Trading Post and nothing would appear after it finished loading. I tried a few things and one worked:

Find “Awesomium_process.exe”. If you can’t find it open the client, open the Trading Post UI and then look for it in the Task Manager, then go to File Location. After that I put it in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2. I then closed the TP UI and reopened it – it now works!… Kind of. The Buy button is greyed out and nothing appears in the Sell tab. However, when I closed and reopened the client it was back to not loading after the ring stops spinning, most likely because the file is removed when you exit the client.

After this I tried deleting “awesomium.dll” and “awesomium.txt” – both found in the same location as the exe file. I booted up the client and now I am able to buy and sell stuff in the TP though it did take a few tries before it would actually load. When I closed the client and restarted it and it still works.

Thx for posting your solution snowy. I tried it out but it yet instead of the golden circle disappearing after a few seconds leaving a blank trading post, now I get the infinitely spinning golden circle.
But as this was the first time that I could notice any sign of a change after working on a solution, I was nevertheless kinda happy about that reaction lol.

Maybe I’m just missing something in addition. I’m running on Win7 x64. I also tried to configure the awesomium-process to run with admin rights right away, but it didn’t help unfortunately.

I’m also one of those unlucky people for whom the trading post is absolutely not working.
When I open it the loading animation (golden circle) appears for a few seconds (about 3 seconds or so) and after it disappeared everything is blank and none can be bought or sold or freely purchased like the event hat which bugs me the most.

I’ve tried everything that was mentioned in this thread and also I tried nearly all combinations in nearly every possible order that one can imagine… none helped.

Even though I am able to reach the store and its subcomponents from the browser when I authenticate myself, it is not working ingame. And it never worked for me since I bought it short time after the realease.
I’m running behind a proxy, but I asked the admin to disable it for the day I started my fixing session, and it didn’t work anyway… so this can’t be the root of all evil.

The only thing I hope is, that Arenanet did not give up fixing this problem, as reading the latest posts makes me think, that most of the people who had the problem overwhelmed it eventually.
Please … I’m looking forward to a solution in the future.
