If you want everything Ascended you will need a Leatherworking for your armor and Weaponsmith for your weapons, if you use a pistol you will also need Huntsman.
What: Thief’s Eyes
Why: They are so piercing.
I agree with OP. I have a friend that, no matter what, will DC every third load screen. He doesn’t do fractals because of this. It’s rude to waste other people’s time just because you are on a cheap connection.
I agree 100% with the OP. I think that any game I play should let me win no matter how I like to play. Game developers should think of me and only my play style when they design a game.
This is probably the worst idea for thiefs I have heard yet, and remember, people have suggested removing thiefs from the game.
There are plenty of ways to get stealth other than CnD, SoM heals for more than HiS does, even if you dont count the passive on it. If you need a condition clear, Shadow’s Embrace is a better option than HiS, since it is a passive and will work every 3 seconds, vice every 30 seconds.
I believe you are mistaken.
HiS base heal is higher than SoM:

In addition Shadow’s Embrace works with HiS not with SoM
HiS does have a higher base than SoM, but SoM has a shorter cool down. You can SoM twice for every 1 HiS and 2 SoM heals for more than 1 HiS.
If you have a build that utilizes CnD, then you SE is going off every time you CnD, which is one of the reasons I stated that SoM is superior unless you don’t have a CnD build, and even then it’s debatable.
I think that Signet of Malice is not that great in PvP fights.
Hide in Shadows seems to be a better option.
Unless you are a build without CnD, Malice is superior to shadows in every way.
Except you won’t always be in melee range to use CnD
The utility of an extra stealth in PvP outweighs the superior healing potential of signet of malice imo
Not to mention that HiS clears DoTs

I promise it’s not that piece. I had that left over when I got it, because I also thought it was that. Look for hidden trees. Some are behind rocks and there is even a few on top of the hillsides. Look up. It’s probably some tiny trees you’re missing.
thats what i was looking for thanks for the reply!
I have hit everything here at least 4 times, i have ran around hitting places there was nothing, just to see if maybe there was a piece that wasnt showing or something.
There is only one thing i can think it might be, the piece in the picture, I cant destroy it. I am hoping someone will confirm for me if it can be destroyed. Thanks
GIbber gabber, gibber gabber.
Despite your nonsensical rant there, I have not had any problems getting into any groups for any events. I have never been kicked from a group because of my profession or my build. Thieves could use some love in PvE, but are far from useless. Remember, 9 times out of 10, it’s the player and not the class.
Don’t expect that to be around for long. Most of those steps are exploits and will likely get fix, especially if people keep posting videos of them on the official forums.
There are so many things in a PC that can cause an issue with playing a game, and generally it isn’t something that a software company can do anything about. Can’t blame ANet for their being so many different possible hardware configurations.
On your issue though, frame loss is often caused by heating issues. As your card gets hot, you will lose frame rate. The fact that it happens for a few seconds, goes away and then happens again, would make me thing that this could be your problem. I would check your airflow and be sure nothing is blocked. Also, if you don’t already, get a widget that monitors your GPUs heat/fan and see whats its doing.
If it isn’t heat, i would next check drivers to make sure you are on the most compatible driver for GW2. The game can be kinda picky when it comes to older drivers.
I will say though, the 560ti is in fact a budget card and that could be where your issues are. I know there will be 400 people who post and say “I have a 560ti and I dont have any issue”, but with budget cards there could be one thing different about your PC that causes and issue you wouldnt see on someone elses.
In summary: Check heat, check drivers and lastly, always be willing to save up the extra 80-100 bucks for the x70’s.
GL though, I hope you get your issue resolved.
I like my 30/20/20 build. For surviverablity, its hard to beat imo. Stats should be Tough/Cond > Vital > Precision > Healing > Power
I use undead runes (6 of 6, for the tough to condition, its great)
I can solo champs (some of them, not all), but it does take a while. My bleads hit for 110 or more and i can stack 20 fast, then maintain about 9-14. When fighting more than 2 or 3, i can SB them and get around 10 stacks on each with SB, and 15-20 if I drop caltrops also, then maintain around 7.
Its a very strong build for surviving, health on every dmg, and double regen in stealth is great.
I rarely down in dungeons, and when i do its generally because I am either rezzing someone in a circle or just not paying attention.

edit: forgot to mention, with might on dodge and might on stealth, you can usually have around 10-14 stacks of might through the whole fight, which helps with overall dmg output. p/d doesnt hit hard (like 400-600 a shot without crits), but its not bad.

i like the whispers coat, looks nice on male or female.
What’s the point? I understand what you are going for? But I could probably make any skill sound like something a musketeer would do, except maybe magic, but even then I could spin it to be more conventional…. so, what’s the point?
I was the Human Thief from Tarnished Coast. Was fun, wish we had run into more from Yak. Have a good one!
Apples and Oranges.
Condition relies too much on playstyle to really try to parse. Your ability to keep bleed stacks as high as possible will effect numbers when parsing.
Critical is mostly RNG, so once again, parsing would be inaccurate unless you had a ridiculous sample size.
You can probably assume that over time, they would both do similar damage, but depending on the situation, one will out perform the other. Short fights, condition does not perform well as you dont get enough time to get stacks up and let them do work. In long fights, or fights with multiple enemies, condition performs better than critical if you are DD and worse if you are talking about S/P vs P/D.
Well, the completing-three-in-a-row thing is a deliberate design choice that I can guarantee won’t change. If it helps at all to know the reason behind it, the “challenge” of fractals is getting through the chain of them without stopping to repair and rearm. I’m almost positive that the reasoning behind this development-side is to try and drum up sales for instant repair canisters, because slip-ups at higher difficulties often mean instant death, no downing.
If that factor is necessary, then use some other method. Lock out the “shop” functions of the hub until you clear three, but there needs to be a way to gr-group partway through a chain, so that when a group collapses (and they do, CONSTANTLY), the individual players who didn’t completely drop the ball aren’t penalized for it. Nobody should be running around having completed more than ten Fractals and being less than level 3 unless they deliberately chose to do so.
Besides, has anyone ever actually had to repair their armor during a fractal run? I mean, I’ve been part of a few catastrophic pugs, but haven’t come anywhere near a red piece of gear yet.
Considering you can do 1-9 with less than 5 (Me and an Ele friend did 1-4 with 2 and then another guildy logged on and we did 5 and 6), it does take longer, there are more wipes and you have to really think about what you are doing. I don’t understand how doing them with a pug is hard.
“And I don’t want to hear from any of you “I’m so 1337 I solo them and am at level 40” guys, that’s not helpful.”
The point I’m making is, you have 3 options. Figure out a way to do them, don’t do them or kitten about them. 2 of the 3 lead to no progression, so there is only really one option. Or you can petition ANet to just let your FotM lvl to 40 and give you all legendary gear so you can be happy.
I guess what i’m saying is, here’s a straw.

Maybe, instead of just getting 5 people and trying to face roll the dungeon. Either take a look at videos or read about each strategy, then, take the time to explain how each works to people who have never done them.\
edit: I am fully aware that there are some fractals that you CANNOT do with 2 or 3, but we would just restart and hope we got fractals that we could do with 2 or 3.
If you couldnt find the answer on google, then you are not googling it.

for a condition thief, i dont know why you wouldnt take caltrops. you can easily get 4 to 5 stacks of bleed on someone with it, and if you are fighting multiple it is amazing. this combined with malice is unbelievable. you get so much healing from it, its crazy.
