I guess my saying “All the while when I was running back I was receiving loot and xp” flew right under your nose. Please read my post if you’re going to make an assumption. I NEVER said “SIT AT WP AND COLLECT BAGS.”(again, subtle enough for you?). If you’re too lazy to WP and run back and instead wait for a rez – unless your commander says not to WP – you don’t deserve any bags that drop while you lay there.
No, you didnt, however do people deserve any if they respawn and sit there? because that can and does happen, and if your happy to run across the map with a little chance of rejoining a battle, then why arent you happy with people sitting at spawn collecting? its the same thing isnt it? because i realise that people follow a commander and do what they say, but what if they just want to play the game? what is the difference between someone making a decision going " ill wait to be rez’d because we’re going to win and not collecting bags" and someone going “im dead and were going to win ill rez and run back” – both are sound tactical decisions, why should 1 be rewarded for effort previously done and not the other?
Back in the day i mained a Monk. toyed with every build i could (55Monk anyone?). I loved that i was a true support build, i could holy my own, but i could heal people and was always in demand!
Druid is the closest (and its pretty kitten close!) i will ever get to re-living the glory days, and i would forever be in debt if some hero would gift a Monks Outfit so i could look how i feel on the inside! Super Monk!

The only issue i see with this is that if you die – and WP you gain the bags/loot from the tagging you’ve done – you’ve removed yourself from the fight and yet are still getting loot – how is it different from being dead? – if your zerg wins happy days you get rev’d, if you respawn and just sit and wait (or run back to the zerg) you still gain the loot?
I mean that would be a better idea, but I guess its Anet’s way of meeting us half way. But OP wants a mile after being given an inch.
And we veterans remember the days where you had to pick up each individual piece of loot. There was no area looting, let alone, auto-loot. So my advice to the OP is to port immediately on death and make your way back as quickly as possible. I’ve done that and was able to get several bags that dropped while I was clicking on the wp to revive. All the while when I was running back I was receiving loot and xp.

I guess my not reading every single post here and giving my opinion was too subtle for you. I support people running back and gaining any current loot dropped while they are running back. I guess you missed that subtle point. I do not support getting loot while you lie on the ground dead. But hey, I guess my pointing it out blatantly was too subtle for you.

I guess, but the whole “you shouldn’t be rewarded for lying dead” is a weak excuse – If you’re across the map, by the time you WP and rejoin you’ve either a) Lost or b) spent 10 minutes running and the bags have disappeared anyway.
Ultimately its a tactical decision, do you wait and hope your team wins, get you up, then continue? or WP (gain any extra bags because you’re now alive) and run back? in the second scenario you are not contributing but still rewarded for previous play, which you could argue is no better than rewarding for lying dead. Both have merits, but you’re punished for one [my personal pov is “i dont care either way” but i can see why the OP is asking the question]

bad, the second you hit your mail limit, people would be all, wheres my items, and whos to say you dont use your mail as a second bank storage! thus robbing Anet of your precious Gems for bank storage upgrades!

1) tengu? really? maybe open up the idea as npcs, but i hardly see them worthy of being played. i mean if you want the looks of a tengu, then a tonic.
2) mounts? what is it with mounts? im a 8ft norn, im going to ride a 6ft dolyak…what happens in combat? unique skills? do i have to dismount to attack? can i run over enemies?….terrible
3) Wvw xp is account bound, and all way points are unlocked to begin with..it takes a while to rotate but its hardly inconvinent

Any reason why underwater weapons cant have 2 Sigils?
i understand underwater combat isnt favoured, by anyone, but still, you said 2 handed weapons can have 2 sigils, underwater weapons are still 2 handed?
The pale tree is the 6th dragon, its minions the slyvarie….ventaris tablet leeked good into the growing dragon, and made it good, the slyvarie are innocent offshoots whilst the nightmare is the true form of the dragons minions…attempting to recorupt there master
Just finished reading Sea of Sorrows; and like the previous 2 books it has blown me away, not only in the story telling but in keeping with the lore of tyria!
Anet all i can say is these books are the reason i was so excited about guild wars 2 in the first place, and its the least i can do to acknowledge the authors of these, and your whole team! I do hope this wont be the last!
On another short note. Theres still 5 more elder dragons kicking around! Forget all this living story! We want to hunt Dragons!

…this was always going to be an intended feature, from day -3 they said that this would happen, it has been stated at EVERY turn, that 1 day you would be on one server and tgat it would cost….man up
…the ones that you could only buy through the gem store dont count against any tally, except your own, people who have money show off, just dont get any..
…theyve mentioned all along that it would happen at the same time, i guess after 4 months theyve assumed most people have settled onto a server, and thus wouldnt need to mention it again.
Anet should just do another lost shores event; 1 chest, 1 time with a stupidly high chance of getting a precursor! If your lucky you may even get 2 ;-)!
What does “asking” for a solution have anything to do with it. More importantly if you dont like it dont play. The games not even 6 months old, stop expecting the world from something so young, every game has issues, just give it time

Come on Anet, what the hell, dropping precursors?….
Long story short couldnt attend this weekends one time event, i thought yeh i wont miss out as the area is perminent, but then reading posts and speaking to people you dropped precursors, some people even got 2? Im all for 1 time events, i accept that real life gets in the way, but what youve essentially done is gone, heres a chance of getting on of the most expensive (…real terms about £400 when converting gems etc) weapons for sitting around for 3 hours…..and oh we wont be repeating for those who have other commitments, tough luck but were getting money from you loosers and we dont actually care about you
