Very disappointing to see that this epic post concerning Vizunah using “lagbots” to win has been deleted.

Awesome fights on Vizunah BL yesterday evening. Epic moment was when Piken controlled redbriar + bay, and SFR greenlake. Vizunah pug raid was chillin’ around garrison.
“Hey, orange cross on greenlake, must be PS raid !”
Few seconds after :
“Just spotted SFR blob in front of redbriar”
“Ok let’s go for a free bay while they cap each other’s entrance tower”

(tbh, PS flipped over the bay few minutes after )

We dont care about good fights anymore we just want to get out from this mess before T1 becomes dead. We lost alot of hardcore wvw guilds/players and everyday we are losing more and more guilds/players. thanks to the glicko rating system we cant go down. By the looks of it we are stuck in T1 for good with no servers from T2 wanting to move up. thats the problem.

i like desolation i dont want my server to die because of GLICKO! Anet please consider something. This is more important than the super adventure toy w/e its called.

Agree, I don’t think the situation can currently get worse. So bad to see lots of guilds leaving SFR/Deso day after day, some of these matchups were the most entertaining I (and I think a lot of vizunians) had since AS drop T2.
Concerning T1, it died the day SFR’s – #webest #webeateveryone #otherservsyoubunchofnoobs – guilds & followers chose to whine instead of trying to deal with the new players.

Just’d like to know what’s your definition of “good fight”.

I think this is part of the problem here… Anet is listening to American players and ignoring the EU players.

Other than cracking down on exploits… there are only three major issues that Anet need to address… 1) night capping (i.e. rewarding skill over numbers), 2) better rewards for wvw, 3) culling

I have already suggested that night capping be dealt with by increasing the points for an outmanned server and decreasing the points for the server that has more players on the map… for example, the server with fewer members scores more points for holding Bay than the server with more players – this is on a server basis not an individual player basis.

However, the situation on US servers could be made more interesting if Anet introduced a Asia/Oceanic set of servers.
This still does not detract from the problems on the EU servers where French speaking Quebec players play on EU (Fr) servers for language reasons… perhaps the US servers could have both a Spanish and a French speaking set of servers to encourage these players to play on their own timezone servers.

The way things stand at the moment VS will always be no.1 on EU servers… not because of skill but because they will always out-man all the other servers during the night. That is why SFR threw a week in order to play with some other opposition but we see a similar situation with Canadians playing on JS for French language reasons… although not as damaging as VS (I mean, the other night we had no walls or gates on Garrison, no supplies, no siege, outmanned on the map, and 10 of us managed to defeat the JS zerg and the Kodash zerg at the same time – that wouldn’t have happened with VS) it still demonstrates that there is a need for a French speaking US server.

Far Shiverpaks is for sure the BEST #2 server I ever seen in a mmorpg. You must be proud of it.

Vizunah definitively has to be placed between Ruins of Surmia and Fissure of Woe.

As a member of CaSu, the official Vizunah Square’s 500 Hebrew Canadian night team, I can affirm that we really enjoy kicking Desolation’s as.ses and doors when they are luckily granted access to the #1.

After seeing all these whines from Desolation players here, we can’t wait to the next match between a [FR] server and Desolation into #2!!!

Our guild is planning to switch from Vizunah to this french server after the weekend (of course the switch’s day will depend on the scores of #1 game), just to see if Desolation will reach 2nd go on 3rd rank in the matchup with CaSu controlling the map during the nights.
Hope we’ll seen Desolation members soon!

Just been inside the Desolation’s borderlands few min ago, to complete the puzzle jump. While Longview (tagged by desolation) was assaulted by VS people, a lot of red defenders were… camping the entrance of the puzzle jump

First of all, speaking in the name of the entire CaSu community, I’d like to apologize (although generally speaking, others apologize to us, not the opposite) to every EU player whose feelings have been hurt by our gaming timezone.

We heard your complaints loud and clear about our night raids, but therefore, I want to explain what kind of guild we are, and, in order to understand us a little more, where we come from.

It all started a couple years ago, along the Ha! Ha! River.

The Children of Albert Johnson, a Hebrew speaking community, were working in the same wood factory. We met up one night celebrating Rosh Hashanah with friends and family, and we figured out that most of us were playing online video games.

Then, we built a small community “Casugaming” revolving around online gaming, but.. CaSually, you know. Our Holy Path brought many followers, we grew up fast, many of our work comrades joined us, and quickly we went from a couple of members to many hundreds, and figured out that with GW2 coming up, it would be the perfect game to play altogether.

As we are from Quebec region, most of us speak French, that’s why we decided to play on a French server and joined the Grand Cross alliance. Problem is, our timezone isn’t the same, so we’ve been asked to cover Europe’s night shift (how ironic given the fact that Europe tried to get rid of us not so long ago). But we are a dedicated and altruistic community, so forth we proudly accepted this request, and now consider this realm as our own Mother Land. We vow to protect it whatsoever, through hell and high water.

Again, if our timezone doesn’t fit EU players, you should understand that we can’t play anywhere else than French servers if we want to play with a French speaking community.

We are open to all who want to join us, but keep in mind we speak exclusively Hebrew or French on vocal chat.
