It’s a pretty brutal sort of bloodsport when you think about it and I’m not sure if the Queen would sanction something like this. It certainly doesn’t fit the image that I have formed of her.

It seems like the designers came up with a really good mechanic and felt it was too good to say no to. But is it okay to just shrug your shoulder at this sort of thing? Lore, immersion, authenticating details, story, etc? I know its an MMO but it’s also an RPG. RPGs are supposed to care about these details, aren’t they?

It’s not temporary. It will be opened or closed for future events.

I think people should think of this as a sports stadium. Sporting events change and are only for scheduled dates.

Like i said the Devs need somthing for there Portfolio some kind of events they can restart the next year. So where is the problem to say he guys this thing we make is such cool we let it permanent and every year we add some chalenges and bosses.

Its much better to have a coluseum all the time as an olympia every year.

I startet on the german forums a thead the real pirate vote starts now. If enough people say no how do you thing they will react if this overspree even so big that comunity sites like buffed and co. pupliced it.

The only problem they have is they need somthing for there portfolie for next year. but realy thats no reason the arena can still become a permanent part of the game and they cann add every year new bosses or some chalenges. You see problem easyli solved.

I stay too for a permanet arena. if you look to the lore
1. the guards are replaced by robots/ robots need no salvages or living costs
2. if you look in the history the coleseum in rom was financed by rich suporters
in our case ther would be cancelors who invest the arena stay on tour
3. we are in times of war the people of GF need some sort of entertaiment
4. The arena is a perfect trainig area for heros / heros guys get no salvages from the qeen can be paid with a trash skin for rescruring the whole contry

You see no reasons in a lore way the arena is to expensive

Ok people LETS STAY ONLY ONE TIME TOGETHER AND SAY : NO !!!!!!!!

We want have the arena Permanent and not a temporary one Year cycle event.

If the devs want this for there portfolio ok im fine with it, add every year some new chalenges in the arena and everyone would be happy. Problem solved we had a permanet arena and you somthing for your portfolie with less work to do for the future.

The arena is a comunity crucible
the benifits of a place people can come together to have some chanlenge and learn something new about the classes they play. It CANT be only a one year cycle event.

So thumb this kitten up and spreed the news to your guilds, to people in lions arch to everyone you know to come to this forum and vote for a permanent arena.
