So has Anet mentioned why these skills don’t proc explosives traits like they mentioned they would? And why pistol skills don’t have coated bullets baselined? Sry if this has been mentioned before, but was looking and couldn’t find any official response from the devs.

No worries. Gliders will be only usable in HoT maguma jungle zones. Base gw2 ain’t designed with gliders in mind. So our current JP’s will not be affected.

I believe it was in a angry joe interview, but content in HoT will/might be “achievement” locked so people can’t just blow through the content. Such things like learning the local language of the new hylack and unlocking a new way to beat an area or mini boss. Stuff kinda like that. It’s seems it’s much more about exploration then heart quest/stroy grinding. I would assume story progression would be kinda content locked in the same way. But that’s pure speculation on my part.

The whole reason condition damage was buffed was because it was kitten compaired to zerker builds. Sure in long fights conditions sometimes came out on top,but not always. Anet even said that they want to promote the use of other builds do players weren’t just using one stat choice for the whole game.

With all the new mechanics coming on HoT, zerker builds r going to struggle survivability wise. Deal with it. Zerkers are glass cannons. Conditions are finally good and leave my kitten engi alone. My pistol pistol build is finally viable. The point is this: try a different play style. Sure burning might be slightly op, but a survivability mechanic to deny condition damage is their. USE it.

On another note. Was killing a 80 veteran with my condition engi. Fight lasted about 10-15 seconds. Warrior walks up, hundred blades a diff vet to death in about 3 seconds… Get my point

For some reason, every time the LA event starts and I enter through the portal in lornar’s pass or bloodtide coast, I get send to gendarran fields instead of being sent to the LA event? I get the lions arch load screen… then the gendarran fields load screen. then I have to run BACK into the portal only to end up in overflow. How am I supposed to complete the defend mission achievements if I cant kitten defend for the whole cycle sense I am being rerouted every dam time?

This is just and random thought post for fun. If you have been inside the invaded lions arch, you might of noticed the bank vault got blown the kitten open. Anet so should of added a mini event were you can loot the bank for all that free gold just laying around. Imagine it: desperate Heros are fighting to save all thoes poor civilians, and all the skirt come out of nowere and start stealing all thoes shines. Player desires to help the skritt instead of the lions guard and bam… Achievement with a skirtt mini holding a bag of gold.

Iv been wondering this also. I really like the color combo. From looking around I believe the legs are midnight red. The armor secondary color may be midnight rust. But I’m not sure about the main color. I thought it was black but in certain lighting it looks like it has a sort of green tint too it. FYI it’s the same npc for tier 3 cultural armor. Hopefully someone else can chime in on this.

Hello, ranger is still viable and let all the haters hate. I play a very tanky ranger and I love it. My main is sb and I run sword/war horn off hand. Haven’t tried axe off hand yet but I hear good things about it. Dagger off hand has great synergy with the sword as well. I use PVT armor with thief runes atm sense with the pvt gear and knight trinkets/rings ect. U will easily have about 20k health. I use serker weps. Run ommnom pie for added health regen. It’s a very tanky/evasive build and it works well for me. I use in both pve, pvp and WvW. Hasent failed me yet. Iv easily fought 2 people at once and maintained half health. I run 20/20/20/0/0. Utilities are qz, lightning reflexes and ill switch between signit of hunt and protect me. It’s a fun build. And seeing people panic when they try too solo u out and u just kite the hell out of them is a great laugh moment.

Well I do play alts and I don’t feel this is punishing people who WvW with all their characters. What Anet is doing isn’t anything game breaking. It’s ment to be a reward system for those that play WvW. It’s Anets game and they are doing things they think will make it better. Either suck it up and adapt or go play something else. Guild wars 2 is a character focused game. Everyone knew tht when they bought it.

Well I kind of like the individual ranking system for WvW. I’m a casual player and I play a ranger and I have fun even if I’m not top dps in game. You see, Anet has to appeal to the casual player and the hardcore player at the same time. I could see the appeal for account bound rankings. People who have multiple characters are justified in feeling punished, so I’m not hating on those people. But I feel tht the whole idea is to have a felling of accomplishment with one character. Would it be fare if one person was really good with a ele for example and unlocked most of the stuff with tht class but was a complete noob with a guardian and had all the same titles and unlocks. Nope. Don’t think so. I feel like this will cause people to dedicate themselves equally with each character to improve their gameplay. Like the devs said. We will all unlock everything eventually. No reason to rush. Your ment too show your accomplishments with the class u choose to play. Not in general with all classes via account bound.

Hello, I love duel axes as well. It’s a personal preference so don’t let people turn u off from what u want to play. I run 30/0/10/0/30. Traits are V,X,VIII for strength. I, for defence and V,IX,XII for discipline. My build is all about putting out consistent damage with axes and lots if burst with crit. I enjoy it for both pve, WvW and spvp.

I’m curious to see how people would feel about pets having no health pool and thus invulnerable to damage. I’f anet wanted our pets to be a significant portion of our damage than why not have them un-killable. This would solve being gimped after our pets die for a given time and then just have our ability to swap pets affected instead. Make it so we cannot swap pets unless they are withing mele range of us and give us some sort of summoning animation kind if like a mesmer mantra. It would make the choice of pet more meaningful in my opinion and give a little believe ability to my pet swapping than them just appearing out of thin air. This could cause other problems, but it was just an idea i thougt of. What’s your thoughts?

If im thinking of the correct quest were you have to defeat steelbane. After the cut scene, walk over to tribune brimstone and click your f key. it will bring up a dialogue box were you make your choice.

Not really, it needs to be here, its obviously a huge issue for players since they die in one hit to thieves.

First off no thief can kill someone in 1 hit. Full glass cannon builds take about 3 seconds if spec’d correctly and that only happens if the other player is caught off guard. Honestly tho if someone is looking for help against thief’s, why wouldn’t they ask there question or look in the player helping player forum. Just trying to help. And not let you waste a post to forum trolls.
