JINX is great, quite a bit bigger in numbers (25 -35 nightly), but we are having a lot of fun in T2. Would be better if this lag was not crippling maps and all levels of fights…

I agree, the current server populations do not accurately represent the actual health of a server with regards to all of it’s play styles.

We do it all the time, the max we can get before issues arise is 10-11. The key is to throw the rams first then build, it appears that the limit is only measuring finished siege not those that are un-built. So if your commander plans it out he can place some directly on top of it, and more and more radiating out from the gate. You can actually hit the gate with a ram that is almost a rams length behind the door, which allows you to stack two layers of rams.

It would be nice if Anet gave an official count / proximity, but I don’t see them doing that. So, when we have free time or want to take something crazy fast we experiment with how many we can get in one spot. (the costs though…….. that many superior rams on a door is sort of expensive…… i always twitch a bit when we do it… lol)

The same rules appear to affect trebs, i.e. the ability to litter the top points on SM with 8+ trebs, which takes down surrounding structures very fast…

Yeah agreed, it was cool to see things from the “other side” even if it was a dev. It also allows those guilds involved to figure out what mistakes were made on movement, positioning, engagement, etc…

As a veteran WVW player in T1 I understand that there will be crazy, crazy queues, I have been on Blackgate since Server Start. I have no issues with queues, we had even expected queues in the high hundreds. I had my PS4 sitting on my desk setup so I could play destiny while I waited in queue, so those of you telling me to stop worrying about the queue and that it is my fault….. Just shut up…. And get out…… you trolls…….. Also, it is not my PC, I have a crazy pc…… have to, to be able to stream and record etc…..

What angers me, is being on TS with all of the major guilds in BG, maps reset, people spam, and then each of the guilds gets less than 6 -20 on maps. We do callouts across all guilds, and the majority of guilds did not get more than 10 on at the start. Most of the guilds were able to get their entire guilds into Obisian Sanctum. Those of us that did get people to map had them tag up and rally what they could, only to find that there was less than 40 bodies on each map. For those of you throwing snide remarks of “how does he know how could they know?” I am sorry you are on a kittenty sever that does not communicate well with its milita….. But we do, many of the T1 guilds across NA ND EU are great at working with their miltia, and those milita are usually happy to help rally and figure things out………
It was confirmed that at least two of the NA T1 servers were impacted, also several of the EU kitten servers by this incident. Rhis is not about winning or losing, points, fairness etc…..

This is about anet getting its kitten together after 2 – 3 years and doing something right……. For once………….. If you as a game company plan an event for one of your biggest in game systems , DO IT RIGHT, especially if you have done it twice before………

The sugar topping on the cake was after many of us stuck it through and waiting our time in the queue, I personally waited 3 hours (was fun playing destiny…. Though lvl 20 came to fast…)….. After many, many players waited these many hours to get on map…… We get a yellow warning that they are doing a patch and we will be booted from map….. Did we get ten minutes to get out and get settled? No!!, we were kicked less than 60 seconds after the warning was given……. And then right back into queue…….

For those of you trying to troll “you deserve queues” “how would you know” “It’s your fault” …….. Just get out…If you can’t be constructive… and advise if you server was impacted or not…. Get out….… you can ask any of the primary guilds or commanders on BG and they will validate that this was BS and that members of the guilds were furious…….

ANET, we expect an answer from you… How can you still keep getting it wrong? Do you not QA? Or put extra people in your OCC/NOC ready to provide swift support at the start of a huge event? What are you doing? It is time you start to be more transparent……. Or you will start to lose all major wvw groups…. Hell… you have already started to lose them after the crap you called S2……….

Also, Huge side note: It was really fun to watch the Dev that was streaming following CERN ……. The rage was high with BG’s GOF and JINX running you over, but it was all fun ? I hope to see more Dev’s involved in aspects of the game, and experiencing out pain, when you fail to get it right again…….

ANET ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? A PATCH ON RESET NIGHT OF S3?? WTF ARE YOU DOING? LEARN TO RUN A GAME, OR GTFO!!!!!

Most of us have went through 3+ hours to get through queue… and then less than 40 mins in and you do a patch and re-boot us from and force us to re-queue????

When we confirmed less than 30 BG on map first 40 minutes…. then it is the SERVER not queues bud….

Please fix your servers,it is over 30 minutes past the reset time and most primary guilds and commanders cannot get on any maps, and PPT is not ticking properly….

This game has been out for how long???? and you are still having problems on some of the most important nights of your game!!!!! Come on!!!!!! you might as well just shut down the WVW servers and call this game Guild PVE wars…… this is crazy……………

I have happily commanded small groups and huge zergs on a Necro for the past year and have enjoined every minutes of it. The added health, toughness, and stability in plague is quite helpful. Also, Necro’s have many more utilities for survival that work in zerg combat.

This has been the second week in a row that you have bugged queues in the MIDDLE OF A SEASON TOURNAMENT.

IT is getting old very fast…….

A stupid PVE item gets broke and it is hotpatched in a matter of hours….. WVWVW queues broke for WEEKS and we see or hear nothing.

Honestly though……. the structure for mass building already exists in the crafting classes in the core……… just migrate some of that module code over to the forge code and integrate for support as necessary…….

I would have to agree with some of what Spurnshadow said, as far I knew, this was never a rule in NA T1. Most NA guilds on BG (ICOA, GOF, ONS, KNT, JINX, SG, BLK, etc… ) work together very closely on almost all engagements in the same map. Sometimes a force will be out of reach and the other will ask if they need assistance or if they can handle it….. but 95% of the time the guilds will work together to hit enemy forces because 99% of the time the enemy forces are usually quite larger….. due the never ending blobbing that occurs in T1.

But, this does not say that I dont have respect for the fighting guilds like apex or HB. The exact opposite, I find them pretty awesome and love to watch them scrimm all the time, both because its fun, and there is also a lot to learn from them and how they perform combat. (i pay attention to everything and am always working to improve…. which means i watch all forms of combat)

BUT…… the main map force or supporting map forces have no idea if its a scrimm or a fight they need help with unless they communicate it via Mapchat, wisper or, CC. I have no problem with scrimms, but if i dont know ahead of time that is what is happening , I WILL slam right into the unknown battle and kill as many as i can……. as that is the goal of WVW and is what happens 95% of the time on the maps during NA for the majority of guilds.

Agree with OP…… is it very time consuming and hard as crud on my mouse to have to click all 4 items hundreds of times…… Heck…. i dont even mind spending the time…. i just dont want to have to click over 500+ times……….

I entirely agree with the OP, this is “GUILD WARS 2” not happy go lucky farm time….. I completely understand that PVE content grabs the attention of players…. but it is just a fad… the “new” thing each few weeks (whcih most pve players either complain about or get bored with……)…. BUT, If you put enough work into WVW, even just fixing the most basic of bugs… then WVW would be what we call a bottom line or the main line of your game that would KEEP people playing it.

I vote that the following issues be top priority in the next few patches:

1. Colored Tags
2. Guild only Tags
3. Fix the getting stuck on siege while building bug
4. Let us make multiple superior seige at one time.
5. Fix porting to garry from other maps, ports you to citadel instead, when this start?
6. Fix your lag…. it was fixed, now its worse than ever, just revert it to 2 weeks ago
7. Fix perma stuck for no reason… (not imobilized, just stuck, for no reason)
8. Fix can’t take 15 from camp even though claimed bug

That, or you change the name of the game from Guild WARS, to happy go lucky farm time.
