People always copy the wrong parts of daoc. Even old daoc developers….war hammer online….
looking forward to camelot unchained as well unless Anet drastically overhauls their WvW system to DAOC’s relic system (getting rid of the points system, and rastically increasing map size), I don’t see WvW surviving much longer.

Knew this was going to happen.
Things like being in combat and escaping from a zerg safely into your keep. Then the moment you reach the inside safety you disconnect = auto death.
Seriously,what are the ods for that to happen.
Considering the game has been dropping people’s connection to the server constantly today. Pretty good actually.
i’ll have to agree with graverr here. the odds of disconnecting after “reaching the safety of a keep” are miniscule. the notion that anet should accommodate such a claim is absurd.
funny how the ridiculously OP basilisk→ steal(mug) → c&d → backstab for 20k damage in 3 seconds wasn’t addressed.

Some thieves can one shot anyone that’s the point (for technical reason 3 shot is more appropriate). Also access to stealth + shortbow (not as individual mechanics but together) means thief is very survivable even on glass builds with that much burst damage.
To say it again just because it can be countered doesn’t mean it’s balanced.
thief here. specced crit until i realized how ridiculously OP it is. nerf thieves/crit damage to the ground!
